‘Follow Those Kids!’: Wall St. Occupiers Heckle Small Children as They Walk Gauntlet to Get to School

Small schoolchildren were forced to walk the gauntlet of frenzied Wall Street Occupiers just to get to school on Thursday. What’s worse, protesters reportedly screamed “follow those kids!” as worried parents tried to lead their children through the police barriers along Wall Street. CBS reports that the NYPD was thankfully there to help the kids and ease their fears — clearly a factor given that one protester did in fact follow a father and his daughter down the entire block.


“These guys are terrorists, yelling at little kids,” one father said.

“For them it’s horrible. They’re afraid of all the crowds. We’re not even able to get through. They’re just, he’s … very afraid now,” one mother said.

After school had concluded for the day, one 4-year-old boy could be heard telling his mother he was scared

“There was a parade. It was scary — crowded with school,” the boy said.

“After a while it got so bad some parents couldn’t get their children through and they had to go late,” said parent Gary Goldenstein.

 

So far school officials said they haven’t had to cancel any classes.

      Frigging animals, intimidate children. If any of these low lifes would ever have to fight in combat they would cower like the cowrds they are. Why would the police allow this bullying to go on at kids? Some of the fathers need to take thier kids to school, and break a couple of heads on the way.

      Hey VoteBushIn12, I’m a Christian and could not be happier to be under the grace of Christ. Does that make you uncomfortable? I’m sure you will eventually find fault with me because otherwise there would be no need for grace.

      For the record, I think most dads and granddads here aren‘t saying they’d shoot someone who yelled at their child/grandchild. They’re making the case (whether or not you agree) that this almost certainly will escalate and if it does, they’re ready to defend their families. But you already know this and you’re looking for a fight.

      Before you make the tired case that “thou shalt not kill” means you can’t defend yourself. Have a look at this analysis of the Hebrew lexicon: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/You_shall_not_murder. Christianity does not (always) mean non-violent, peace-nick behavior. The Old Testament contains plenty of references to war, and even the New Testament mentions it. (See the book of Jude)

      You’re wrong. Most older Democrats are Democrats because they fell for the propaganda. My parents were Democrats until this administration. My dad’s reasoning? The Democrats are for the working class and the Republicans are a bunch of rich people. They’re not racist. Dad (being 79) was raised equal but separate, but they never raised me that way (and I’m almost 48) My parents were too busy earning a living to pay attention to politics. My dad busted his a$$ to make sure I had the opportunity to attend college (though I only attended a year and a half before quitting and joining the Navy). The Democrats know this, that’s why they spew their propaganda. That’s how they got the black vote even though the higher ups are very racist. They created a plantation not only for minorities, but hard working whites who just want to raise their family. That’s how we got into this mess….we ALL fell asleep on the job and weren’t paying attention to how we voted. I include Republicans in this who voted the R and didn‘t vet candidates who ended up being progressive RINO’s.

      I think these OWS folk are imbeciles just like most everyone else here, but for this website to say that “Follow those kids” is heckling them is simply dishonest. The protesters were looking for a way to get through, and they wanted to use the exiting kids as a way out. I perform similar stunts when I‘m visiting a friend in a gated neighborhood and don’t have the gate code. I tailgate through. This is basically all they were trying to do. The kids were not the subject of heckling. I felt a little misled by the headline.

    What do you want to bet that the OWS parasites disclaim responsibility, and blame it on infiltrators from the right wing? There have been countless cases of violence, from rape to burglary, drug use, not to mention intimidation of ordinary working folks. This is going to get much worse before it gets better. The governments – city, state and federal, should have clamped down on them the first time their free speech rights infringed on the rights of everyone else to go about their business.       Clear your cookies first. After a while they’ll probably ban by IP address. At that point, turn off your modem at night and check often because your IP address will likely change after a short while. This is, of course, if you want to troll them ruthlessly. It is strangely satisfying.

      My Initial observation and point to my first two posts, was that this story was not newsworthy and it was over-hyped. I believe it is a real distraction from what is important. A majority of the protesters are saying they refuse to be responsible for others economic incompetence and corruption. They are opposed to bail-outs, as I am sure most of the conservatives are. but the Main Stream media, including the Blaze paints them ALL with this far-left liberal, stinky hippie, uneducated and lazy paintbrush.
      Most of them want to work, but understand that Crony-Capitalism has destroyed their opportunity for the American dream.
      Winston Churchhill said ‘ If you are not a liberal at 20 you have no heart, and if you are not a conservative by age 40, have no brain’.
      These kids are learning the truth, realizing that their public education was a progressive indoctrination.
      To save America, we have to dissolve most of the federal government.
      Abolish nearly all the federal agencies established after 1913.
      Go back to the Silver and Gold Standard.
      Replace a 70,000 page tax code with a 5% national sales tax for ALL !!!! rich or poor.
      We must eliminate local, state and federal regulations that stymie free enterprise, hurt the small businessman and benefit the bigger corporate monopolies.
      We must end the fed and quit the U.N.
      End all wars and stop the Military / Industrial Complex.
      Bring back Industry and manufacturing to America.
      We can not be reliant on others.

      Let me help you I’ll bring something to the table that may help you if mommy is abusing you while you sit there with her, you can call your local police and they will help you. If you think this is not a big deal then you must be being abused. It is a very big deal! It shows intent and the fact that they feel they can do what they want. It has nothing to do with anything any more, except disruption. Alot of cowards out there.
      Why don’t you go out there with them, maybe you’ll get lucky. Wear a mask to hide your face cry when someone rapes you and no one goes to help you. Make sure hard working people can not get to their jobs and make money to take care of their kids as the kids are being tramatized by idiots. They don’t even have an individual thought.     Boy Discovered Vomiting On Courthouse Lawn; Adult Arrested

    A 27-year-old man has been charged after Montana police found an 11-year-old boy drunk at an Occupy Missoula protest.

    John Skinner encountered the boy and a friend outside a Missoula bar last week. The friend asked Skinner to buy them alcohol, and he told police he brought the boys to his tent on the protest grounds so he could keep an eye on them, police told Missoula TV station KECI.

    But police said Skinner was nowhere to be found when they discovered the 11-year-old unconscious and vomiting on the lawn of the county courthouse.

    Skinner was arrested and pleaded not guilty Thursday to endangering the welfare of a child. He remained in custody on $2,000 bail.

    The 11-year-old boy appeared in court with his mother and pleaded guilty to underage drinking.
    Occupy Missoula organizers said they have a zero tolerance policy for drinking on site and were taking the charges “very seriously.”
