Foo Fighters Counter-Protest Westboro Baptist Church

A protest by the controversial Westboro Baptist Church received a counter-protest of their own Friday from the Foo Fighters. The rock band gave a serenade in front of the Sprint Center in Kansas City to the protesters who are known for controversial assemblies, including picketing the funerals of US soldiers killed overseas.
The band poked fun at the organization by dressing in redneck costumes and singing lyrics alluding to the Westboro Baptist Church’s anti-homosexual views.
NBC Action News reports that many states, including Missouri, have passed or attempted to pass laws that would restrict the type of protests that the church is known for, but the Supreme Court has repeatedly sided with the church.

Posted on September 18, 2011 at 7:57amThe only people taking Paul’s straw-poll win seriously are Paul’s acolytes. Paul wins pretty much every straw poll held anywhere in the nation, because the Paulite ship of fools always show up to flood the ballot box. The gadfly Republican clearly wins the prize for the most committed supporters (or needing to be committed), but they can’t bend reality. Paul mops up the straw polls, then flops when the actual voting starts. FLOPS, lol.

This pretty much explains why.

California GOP straw poll
1. PON PAUL – 45%
2. Perry – 29%
3. Romney – 9%
4. Bachmann – 8%
Looks like endorsement Romney received from Jimmy Carter and bribes to Perry from drug companies woke up many people. Why select a representative of bankers and lobbyists when we have Mr. Paul who will be a representative of the Constitution?

Yeah, in California they love Paul, (No matter how it’s spelled.) Figures, THE DRUG CAPITAL OF THE COUNTRY LOVES THE LEGALIZE DRUGS CANDIDATE!!! Wow! Sure never would have seen that coming! There were also law officers by the hundreds attending, and the Navy brought in 2 large buses of men in uniform. All along the procession, the streets were crowded with people holding flags, lots of boy scout troops waving flags, too. He said it was humbling to see so many Americans wanting to express their thanks to the family.

The support received by so many of our brave men and women is heart-healing. I had many friends come home from that one mistreated for being patriots! God bless each one who stands, despite the hatred, prepared to defend our country. May God bless and comfort your family and each of the other ones in the loss. My favorite soldier says he’s willing to give his life for these idiots to make idiots of themselves in protesting, but those of us in family thank God each day we dont get that call that he was called on to prove it. Posted on September 18, 2011 at 12:39amWestboro better not come anywhere near the DFW area because I know that I would let god sort them out. No supreme court nothing, I would rid them from America. Men, women AND of course children. Sorry but sometimes it takes fire to beat fire, and thanking god for dead soldiers is something I have a strong adversion to. They should be thanking the soldiers for the freedoms that they have. If they want to picket funerals then I want to find out where their main church is and picket it. I would take a big dump on their front steps everyday and twice on Sunday. I would make it my morning routine! I would wear a devil costume everyday and I BET I get kicked off the street in front of their church. As far as them doing it in MY state then it would be on like donkey kong. As far as the Foo fighters, I commend them but it is more a publicity stunt than anything if you ask me. The world has gone to hell in a handbag and I am just making sure I have enough ammo to take everybody on when the time comes.

Everyone was foo-foo fighting…

Everyone was foo-foo fighting…
Songs so delighting…
For Westboro no enlightening…
They see us as terrifying…
For Everyone was foo-foo fighting…
Bands singing like lightning…
Sounds defying…
Felt like we were flying…
To those who stand in the counter protest, and who honor the memories of our fallen war dead; and the living who have given their time and their blood, Thank You. It is by the dedication of all who long to be free and stay free that we will overcome the darkness in the end.
