‘Fool’s Errand’: Tough-Talking Hillary Clinton Says Chinese System Is Doomed

WASHINGTON (AP) — Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton says in an interview that China’s human rights record is “deplorable” and that history is on the wrong side of governments that resist democracy.
The comments were published on the web site of The Atlantic magazine Tuesday, as top U.S. and Chinese officials, including Clinton, held high-level talks in Washington.
Clinton was asked if China’s government is scared by the protests against authoritarian regimes that have rocked the Middle East and North Africa.
She says: “They’re worried, and they are trying to stop history, which is a fool’s errand. They cannot do it. But they’re going to hold it off as long as possible.”
Since February, China has questioned or detained hundreds of activists.

However, China is slowly seeing that Capitalism ain’t quite as bad as they though it was going to be. They are the world’s leading manufacturer and exporter of just about everything, and little by liitle they’re coming around to the Capitalist way of thinking. Once they realize that becoming a truly Capitalist society will strengthen their power in the rest of the world, they could possibly become what America used to be. If the left has their way, America will become like China was back in the 1950′s.

As correctly noted on Beck’s show last night, California and Massachucetts are even more communist than China.
While Hillary is correct that regimes which repress their own people will not stand the test of time, she is incorrect to promote a “Democracy” form of government to protect the peoples’ interests. It is the same mistake California, Massachucetts and other deeply-indebted progressive-blue states in the US have made – assuming that the will of the majority should overrule the individual rights protected by our constitution.
The only form of government that protects individual rights and freedom is a Republic that follows the Rule of Law – NOT a Democracy that ignores laws at the whim of the electorate. The word ‘democracy’ does not even appear in our Constitution, Bill of Rights, Declaration of Independence, nor any of the 50 states’ constitutions!
America has mostly abandoned the Rule of Law under Democrat regimes which have trampled our private property rights and our Constitution simply because they had a temporary majority that opted to do so… and they did so for the sole purpose of ensuring their own re-elections – destroying the American system in the process.

Truth be told Hillary all governments have a finite time when it comes to history.
Think about it…very few governements last more than a few hundred years at best.
We have a great form of government here in the United States but there are too many that are willing to give it up and allow The Federal Government to have more and more control over our lives.
