Footage Appears to Show Actor Ryan Gosling Breaking Up NYC Street Fight

A common trend in society today is people filming fights on mobile devices with the hope of a viral video gaining success on the internet. Often, the one recording is more concerned with capturing the video than stepping in to stop the violence.
In a video uploaded onto Youtube Saturday, you get to see both sides of the conundrum in a fight that took place at a New York City intersection where the peace-maker was already famous before the video even went viral.
Multiple sources are reporting that the individual in a blue and white stripped tank top that broke up the fight is Academy Award-nominated actor Ryan Gosling.
The fight took place on 8th Street in the East Village. Viewers have been able to confirm Gosling’s identity because of “The Giving Tree” book cover tattoo on his upper left arm.
The New York Daily News writes that the actor has been spending his time upstate filming “The Place Beyond The Pines.” Entertainment Weekly contacted Gosling’s publicist, who could not be reached in time for comment.

They just so happen to be filming a scene for Catch Me If You Can and the actors and crew parted most of their vehicles in the church parking lot and walked through the alley way towards the shot lotion. My two good friends were fighting in the alley behind our houses in California when Leo was walking to the filming location and broke up the fight. They were in such awe that this celebrity just randomly popped up and stopped the fight that they forgot why they were even fighting.

The one news outlet made it sound like old bespectacled white guy ran by and stole young black mans painting and the young man was trying to get it back. It’s possible even though the old white guy with the glasses looks more like the artist type than the run-by thief – who knows. With reportage being so inaccurate these days I would need to see an interview of the two guys together before I would know with any degree of certainty.
