Footage: Arms Depot Exploded in Turkmenistan, Over 1,000, Including Children Dead

Turkmenistan Arms Depot Explodes

Although it happened earlier this month, footage has just been released of a devastating explosion in Abadan, Turkmenistan. The blast reportedly may have killed over 1,000 people, many of them children.

According to reports, the government first blamed fireworks for the deadly blast, however, later reports claim it was in fact an explosion at an arms depot.

Although the government is allegedly restricting the release of information and has blocked the use of mobile phones and internet in the area, locals managed to film and finally disseminate raw footage of the incident.

Turkmenistan is one of the key nations currently part of the SCO organization set up by China and the CSTO organization set up by Russia. Turkmenistan along with many other central Asian Muslim nations are vital for any global power wishing to play a crucial role in Asia. To date the US has been left out by sheer stupidity of past and the present administrations.
As or the article in concern, I give my condolences to those innocent children even if they are Muslim.

I prefer my recently departed much loved female Rottie who hated the numerous census workers that repeatedly visited my home (six times) because I only gave the most basic info. Now I have an all black Lab/Pointer/Mastiff mix rescue who was adopted at eight weeks from my local vet, she’s picking up exactly where her predecessor left off barking at petition bearing Liberals attempting to approach my door.

Safe handling and storage of high explosives is obviously not something these followers of the mysoginist pediphile take very seriously. It takes a little more than an abiding faith in your false god to safely store and handle dangerous explosives. Anyone want to bet one of those pig loving followers of the false prophet was smoking in the ammo dump??…Just sayin’

@THEROUHD: You may disagree with Muslims, but aren‘t they God’s children too? To say you don‘t care because they are Muslim shows you are not exercising Christ’s commandment to “love one another.”. Christ did not put a disclaimer exempting Christians from loving their Muslim brethren.

If it was easy, we wouldn’t need a commandment to remind us!

Judeo….I am pretty sure when I read my Bible God wiped out His enemies a few times. If you don’t think Muslims are an enemy of the one true God you are a fool. Go ahead and love them all you want, they aren’t your bretherend they are your enemy that wants to kill you.

Pretty sure it was the secondary explosions setting off rounds that when everywhere.

If you set a bomb under 10 million bullets, good chance them bullets are going to discharge and head somewhere. If you noticed the cameraman looked to be less than a mile away from that thing, and there were people/cars/houses/buildings much closer. Maybe one was a school. All were well within range of rounds popping off randomly.

Having an arms depot of that magnitude in a populated area is beyond insane. Our munitions are in bunkers way away from the populace. @ Sean in Li, rounds that “cook off” in a fire don’t travel like it was shot from a barrel, they normaly just explode. When in heavy fighting occasionly, the gun barrel and breech of large full-auto guns, like the M-2 .50 BMG ect.,can superheat and melt through the brass casing of a newly seated round, causing the round to instantly fire. This type of “cooking off” will produce the normal bullet velocites and is quite dangerous.

I‘ve shared Stu’s morbid fascination for this place for about 10 years. The citizens are largely victims of a cult-of-personality rivaling No. Korea’s Kims, Stalin, Mao, etc. The former ruler “Turkmenbashi” ruled the place with an iron fist, so not much in the way of Muslim extremism there. I think the militants are all either dead or in gulags. Things haven’t improved much for them since the old geezer had his final heart attack.

His successor (his dentist??!!), “Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov” (anyone wanna try pronouncing that cluster-foxtrot of a name), hasn’t improved things much either. I don‘t think he’s built any gold statues of himself, but the level of repression remains unimaginable to us.
