Former ACORN, SEIU Activist Moves From White House to DNC

White House Political Director Patrick Gaspard

In another major shakeup signaling the Obama camp is preparing to launch the president’s reelection campaign, Democratic National Committee (DNC) chairman Tim Kaine announced Thursday that executive director Jennifer O’Malley Dillon will leave the party to serve as deputy campaign manager, and White House political director Patrick Gaspard will move in to replace her at the DNC.

Gaspard’s role in the Obama machine has been a target of conservative criticism in the past given his associations with activist organizations like disgraced community organization ACORN. Gaspard donated tens of thousands of dollars to ACORN in the past and worked for New York’s Working Families Party (WFP), a political entity “fighting for a more just world,” formed by a coalition of labor unions, ACORN and other community organizations. He also was an organizer for a New Jersey chapter of the New Party — a collaborative effort between ACORN and the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA).

Gaspard also previously worked as a top official at the powerful New York SEIU local 1199 and turned down an offer last year for the number two top job in the union’s national organization.

In his announcement, Kaine wrote that Gaspard “understands the importance of grassroots politics and team building… Working together, I am confident that we can protect the progress of the past two years, achieve important electoral victories in 2011 and 2012.”

      Seriously, I DO think we will have some good candidates to choose from, as long as they don’t have any “dirt” the left will dig up. If they do, the candidate(s) need to air it now and be done with it.

    I can’t believe that people would be stupid enough to re-elect Obama. I am tired of baby sitting him. We need real leadership in this Country that we can count on. Acorn must be busy getting ready for the 2012 election. Watch the other hand.

      The progressives have won the war for control of our educational institutions and with a dumbed down electorate with little knowledge of history, enough of the electorate will fall right in line to keep O Blah Blah in the executive suite for another term.

    But…..what if they require to Obama to show a real BC this time. Pelosi is no longer in a position to lie for him, and the Governor of Hawaii says he can‘t really find Obama’s BC, but swears there it was noted somewhere, hmmmm! Yep, I’m gearing up for the 2012 election also, stocking up on popcorn and reserving a spot for my PALIN 2012 sticker.

    obama has been surounded by radicals his whole life starting with his mother and father and so he did the same in the white house so are we for a nano second to believe he is not the main radical. This guy is dangerous and that has NOTHING to do with his race. He is just a dangerous man like the many we have in the prisons but he is president which makes him much more dangerous.

They “Protect” and spend money to get legislation passed for Socialist Laws as well as Lobby their peeps (Progressives, Minoriries, Unions) for money to fund the election of others like them as well as protesting peoples homes.     I’m not satisfied to wait until the election. We need to keep the pressure on the Republicans to slash the budget now, while they have the majority. I have no faith in either Party to do what is right. I have little faith in the American voter to choose wisely. Who knows who or what we end up with after the next election. Do it now while we know we have the majority.

    “stash”. If republicans, tea partiers, conservatives and independents join

      And watch for more “Executive Orders” to be signed by BHO to bypass Congress and/or Senate debate and vote (i.e. bringing Gitmo detainees to US for trial; amnesty; and even more union friendly regulations).
      We The People must stay politically dilgent because BHO and his cronies will be ramping up the volume, and will continue to work behind the scenes doing whatever it takes to get him back in office, so they can continue their goal for a more socialist, one world government.

    Since he promised transparency, open debate on cspan and he would go over obamacare line by line with anyone – I think he should be challenged DAILY to an open debate ON CSPAN continually and DEFEND IT..

    He‘s the one who says the people can’t get it.. Here is his chance. Fact checkers on site..

      Never underestimate the progressives.       Listen up folks, the strategy is to clean Obama up for the 2012 election. The President is after the independent vote. His handlers are going to make him appear to be moving to the center. The left wants you to believe that they are mad at him. DON’T YOU BELIEVE FOR A MOMENT that SOROS and the loonie left are upset with Obama. This is all being done to attract the independent voters in the next election. If he gets re-elected, he will move back to the left and the loonie left will be right behind him again for the the next four years. He doesn’t have to do anything other than sit tight and watch the nations debt pile up. That is the goal. Finacially bankrupt the nation so there is no other choice but to submit to the will of the United Nations and a world government run by the socialists.       More like time for Progressives to regress further. Yes, a move back to the center will become the official slant. Just is, this time it will be much more readily perceived as a weird stretch that is just too, too far. Literally, mission impossible comes to mind. Americans are unfortunately known for short minds, yet thanks to replay, talk of center will be seen as lectures on fantasy. Alinsky rules have no rules for replay reality.

      No, the show to watch this go round is the Republicans. I am of the opinion that they have an awesome opportunity to be totally apolitical demonstrating the need and thirst for good governance. I suspect the hopefuls have had, inner circle, gut wrenching chats. It seems, I have heard and seen signs of such. The only one who can beat all of them, is all of them. Some give lip-service to a need for greater civility. The Republicans have a profound opportunity to show great civility, first amongst themselves and then to one who has not a clue of what he pretends to preach. Many Republicans know we tire of the games and we can ill afford any more. Either the Republicans will wisely govern this election cycle, or this Nation is doomed. I speak as an Independent.

There better be someone with a magnifying glass looking at every illegal penny the DNC covers up this election (like the people who could barely afford indoor plumbing but had lots of money for an election donation, and all the other “batches” they put together.       You are correct/ But guess what. The Democrats are going to re-make Obama. The Sheeple will buy it. The Democrats will do everything in their power slight of reporting it in the news to steal the election. But no one will call them on it. Talk Radio and Fox will discuss all the “shaddy” characters involved in the Administration, but no one will do anything about it. Some on talk radio will tie the individuals back to ACORD and SEIU and the Communist Party or whatever, but no one will do anything …only talk. This Adminsitration is evil to the core and is unfolding their agenda right before our very eyes and ears. And what are we doing. Expecting career politicians to fix something they have been apart of forever. In summary…ever since 2008 everything Obama and the Soros machine have unfolded their agenda and inplemented it.       Either that 60% that is to lazy to vote actually takes an interest and votes or this county is lost. Obama will use block voting just like Reid did in Nv and he will win. If you are an American you will vote. Immigrants vote as soon as they are elgible. Born citizens are too busy to bother. Guess who values this country more? The Immigrant.

      My biggest concern is that the sheeple forget “Dreams FROM My Father, attempted takeover of the medical industry and conservatives can sit in the back of the vehicle and re-elect Obama because he was bad but now is nice. The day he is sworn in for his second term, his political meter will peg all the way to the left. Hopefully, the Senate will get a conservative majority and he can take his executive orders and put them where the sun doesn’t shine. The Progressive radicals will come out of the woodwork and try to stir up the “disadvantaged” and attempt to carryout “top down, bottom up and inside out”. Only people like Glenn Beck, Bill O’Rilley (somewhat) and others like them plus the Tea Party can keep some kind of truth diseminated to those of us who are actually paying attention.
      We, who can, must continue to “Remember in November” and repeat the 2010 shellacking. Heaven help us all!
