Former Gameshow Host Chuck Woolery Tells You How Govt. Can Cut $1.5 Trillion

“It’s so easy, a gameshow host can do it.”

That’s what legendary gameshow host and Hollywood conservative Chuck Woolery — perhaps best known for his time hosting “The Love Connection” and the pre-Pat Sajak years of “The Wheel of Fortune” — says about cutting government spending by $1.5 trillion over ten years.

Watch Woolery, who is now a political pundit, of sorts, offer his 9 proposed government cuts — one of which is defunding “sanctuaries for albino squirrels.”

Watch his intriguing and, entertaining clip below:

Great work, i didn’t know about the $$ for the albino squirrels… as cute as they are, i would cut that still. ;P we have brown, black and grey squirrels around here and some that have mixed together with patches. almost like calico squirrels… they’re pretty cool.

Barney Frank’s pretty squirrely, but Nancy and Harry are just nuts! I could describe a number of our elected government officials as snakes in the grass, there are plenty of weasels, rats, and a few other rodents that come to mind, but that would be demeaning to the animals which are much nobler in character than many of those who are elected to serve us.

Yeah, there is a whole lot of cutting that could be done. Not eliminating but cutting. Certainly, there is probably a lot in defense that could also be cut, but defense has been being cut ever since Obama came ot town. I find it ironic that one of the firs things he did was cut the Eastern Europe missile defense shield now he decides he wants to get it going again. Must be trying to appease some of those moderate voters to try to get their votes for the election next year. I am sure, if he were reelected, he will make his first action after the election, scrapping those defenses again.

We need to be careful about cutting military, however, with modern technology, certainly many of the overseas bases could go.

Think of the waste in DOE…it is staggering!
The school where my daughter taught pre-K is a perfect example.
For a new wing solely for pre-K, taxpayers paid to:
1- pay to build the huge addition
      2- hire 16 teachers…yes, 16!
      3- pay their salary
4- pay for their medical coverage
      5- pay for ‘sick days’
      6- supply the classrooms
      7- hire more custodians
      8- maintain the new wing
9- feed the kids breakfast AND lunch!
10- Oh, did I mention that teachers’ assistants would be needed for each class?

This is for just one school, and is for kids that parents/grand-parents/family members should be caring for. Its no wonder we have problem kids when the parents don’t have to provide a damn bowl of cereal for breakfast or give them even enough money for the reduced-cost lunches you get in school.

The DOE and its entitlements have to go! No one even discusses it!

Despite this, I thoroughly enjoyed the bit. BTW, it’d likely take a savant to remember, but I have to say, thanks for the pleasure of the golf game with yourself, Bart Starr, my dad and I. #1 YES! Cut the EPA. Congress can do their job and enact laws to protect air and water quality. Laws that are simple and easy to follow, and that don’t change at the drop of a hat because someone needed to justify their job. The EPA has also brought you the loss of DDT, which even when it was proven safe was banned. Millions of Africans now have died of malaria because of the loss of that substance to fight mosquito populations.
#2 We were EXTREMELY competitive long before the Dept. of Ed came along. remember Edison, Ford, Carnegie, John Kennedy…………We have fallen behind the rest of the world ever since its inception.
#3 YES!! Cut the Department of Energy. We had abundant energy supplies before it came along. Since then we have become more and more dependent on foreign oil. If the DofE got out of the way we could drill in safer regions, and avoid such mishaps as happened with the BP oil rig. We could build more refineries and lower the cost of gas. Just Think, Safer Cheaper fuel.

You need to get a clue slackjaw79. Do some research before you open your mouth and prove you are just repeating what has been spoon fed to you.

Now, through more than three decades of DoEd oversight, we now score last or nearly last in every category. So please, tell me what exactly the DoEd does that is so valuable to our education systems. Deliberately done to hurt food supply, those guys can go. Local people are completely capable to make sure nothing really bad shows up on their front door, in fact, that is exactly what local, county, and staes are suppose to do-weigh wich is better or worse, loosing a “maybe endangered fish” or feeding people. I would hope humans come first. This administration has done it’s best to destroy food industry, why would that be I wonder?

Since creating the Department of Education we have lost our dominance in the area of education, and we have more people that are either dropping out of school all together or getting a high school diploma that are functionally illiterate. Since creating the Department of Energy our energy costs have sky rocketed. Do you not see the pattern here? Anytime the federal government exceeds their Constitutional limitations it is bad for the people and causes more harm than good.

Tell me genius, when China is walking over us due to the fact we have no domestic sources of oil and no credit to buy any from our “friends” like Hugo Chavez and Ahmadinejad, who exactly are you going to voice your opinion to? Meanwhile we let the same group, China and company, to drill even deeper than the last well that had the spill in the Gulf, off our U.S. shores. Do you think they are safer in their drilling practices than the U.S.A.?…Why does this occur, EPA and DOE policy. Clinton used the same lame excuses in his administration as the current regime; it would take 10 years before the first barrel of oil was shipped to a refinery. Surely even you can figure out how long ago that has been now. We are being set up and the sheep are following one by one right down the slaughter gate.

Once any person reaches 8 yrs, they can no longer serve in Congress or the Presidency. We need people who are NOT career politicians; Cain/Bachmann would be a good ticket in 2012.

I don’t know what church you go to buddy, but I have never met a pastor that makes millions. Even a pastor like Rick Warren who has made millions off of his books sales (which he would have to pay taxes on) isn’t a millionaire. He gives away 90% of his income. And Rick Warren made his money from those book sales not from his pastoral paychecks. A lot of the pastors I know have gone a week or two at a time without even getting a paycheck. Pastors make millions. “Ha.” “Ha” I say “Ha.”

Besides that churches are 501(c)(3) and aren’t taxed under those guidelines. If you taxed churches all non-profits would have to be taxed. “Non-profit” by the way is why they aren’t taxed.

You know what amazes me, is that we have a populace that wants to be taxed more. I am not opposed to being taxed, but when I see how our government continually wastes our money; I do not want to give them more of it to waste.

The only squirrel I know is in the White House, however he has never been referred to as albino.

      Way to go Chuck!

Somebody who has name recognition, who isn’t part of the Entertainment Elite in Hollywood and has the balls to tell it like it is. Side note: Chuck will now be blacklisted by those same “powers” in Duncel-Town.

I don’t think that Chuck really cares!!

He was married to Joann Plug at one time…look for her to suddenly appear along side Gloria “Car-Chaser” Alred in the near future to accuse Chuck of lots of disgusting sexual deeds. Guilty until proven innocent – it works. Look at the hatchet job done to Herman Cain…and the result.

Love it, there are some excellent ideas if we could get the “useful idiots” of DC to actually listen to the people for a change (not counting the few there who actually are making such an effort).

Pensacola, Florida has white squirrels in the downtown park where the old town church used to be at.

Well maybe we could get him to go talk to Congress. He could
pretend he was a Democrat and maybe they would listen. He
has some great Ideas I think. I also think they should cut ALL
PERKS FOR GOVERNMENT WORKERS, THEY MAKE MORE
THAN WE DO AND WE PAY THEM, WHY DO THEY DESERVE
PERKS ALSO??? What is Congress Mailing???? And why?????
Does Congress really need all the staff they have??? Why can’t they
do the things themselves…. I know they may need a little help to go
thru the emails but My Gosh make them work for their money….

Hey Snow, Happy Thanksgiving,,,,to you and Kitty,,,
Happy Thanksgiving to all you Blazers…..
