Former Miss New Hampshire USA Faces Assault Charge After Allegedly Attacking Boyfriend

Police say former Miss New Hampshire USA Nicole Houde faces a simple assault charge after a heated “confrontation” with her boyfriend.
The 26-year-old beauty queen was arrested Wednesday after, according to authorities, she punched, kicked, scratched and bit her boyfriend Scott Nickerson, also of Manchester.
According to reports, the incident began when Houde accused her boyfriend of having an affair.
Soon after, he allegedly took her cell phone and refused to return it, prompting the violent outburst.
Here’s a YouTube video of what may have been “better times,” when Houde was crowned winner of 2010′s “Miss New Hampshire USA.”
According to the Daily Mail, since Houde’s 2010 crowning, she has received a make up consultation certification, and works as a personal trainer and beauty pageant consultant.
“I learned so much from my experience and I enjoyed doing everything that I did so why not expand that into my career and do what I love?!” she explained. “I look forward to helping others better themselves and reach for their goals because a lot of times life gets in the way, we get distracted and just need a little extra boost and help to get things on the right track.”

I had 80 lbs on her so most of the time I just laughed at her. She was sexy as hell so I put up w/ it until she tried to remove my junk w/ her finger nails even then I wouldn’t have called the police.

I feel very sorry for her and hope that she finds the right guy for her, who will treat her not only with respect, but also love her for who she really is.
I disagree with causing more hurt in life, it’s always better to tell them how you feel in life and then move on altogether! She is very beautiful and can get much better than him!

Was it childish for the guy to take her cell phone? Yes, it was. But that does not justify what she did. Actually, the way she reacted highlights the kind of person she is – the kind who throws a tantrum when she feels wronged.
Was he actually cheating on her? Maybe, maybe not. It only says she accused him. However, if he did cheat on her this episode might explain why. Regardless, it’s never okay to violently attack someone just because you are mad at him. I bet you’d be singing a very different tune if the roles had been reversed with him accusing her of cheating, her taking his phone, and him biting her.

First the Polish dentist, then this report on “The Blaze”. Domestic violence crosses genders. Both genders can and do commit violence on the other. Violence on men by women does not get the press because reporting it is not politically correct and men are expected to knuckle up while women can much more easily play the victim card. Dentists, beauty queens, a woman named Bobbitt: all humans. Nothing more or less. Violence does not know gender. Just observe all of the female school teachers who have ruined their lives by predating on their underage students. That is violence, too.
We have been, are and always will be…….human…….and very, very fallible. Still, we must punish those who trespass against us. Negative consequences to improper behavior hopefully deters more improper behavior in others.
There is a comment on this thread about her “crazy” eyes. I see the eyes of someone who was weeping. Her madness of rage had passed. She wept. Now she will pay society for her human frailty.

The problem is that men should not be expected to just man up and take it. The double standard that exists is just appalling. And this double standard actually succeeds in causing MORE domestic violence because A) women are able to justify it to themselves and society that it’s okay for a girl to hit a boy, and B) men who are abused are conditioned to “man up and take it”, thereby encouraging the behavior in the future. It’s disgusting.
The article about the dentist pulling out her husband’s teeth is a prime example. This is permanent, life-altering damage. Dentures just won’t be the same. Yeah, she’s getting “punished” but 3 years is FAR from what she should get. I’d say 10, MINIMUM. You know that if the genders were reversed the guy would have been locked up and the key thrown away.
Violence does not know gender, but our reactions to it certainly do. That’s a huge problem, no matter what the feminists will try to say.

Yes, she does have anger management problems! It takes two to tangle, but if she really feels angry in knowing whether or not he cheated on her, she needs to drop her relationship and go the other way! When someone cheats, there are other emotional problems underlying the issue at hand! Maybe if it is true, he needs to find help? She needs to find a way to get away from him and find herself again! Anger does nothing but create more problems! Time for her to move on!
