Former MN Gov. Jesse, ‘The Body,‘ Ventura Slams ’The Fascist States of America’

Jesse Ventura Slams the Fascist States of America, Thinking About Running for President

(The Blaze/AP) Former Minnesota Gov. Jesse Ventura is so upset by the dismissal of his airport security lawsuit that he threatened Friday to apply for dual citizenship so he can spend more time in his beloved Mexico – or run for president of what he labeled “the Fascist States of America.”

Ventura sued the federal government in January, alleging that airport scans and pat-downs amounted to unreasonable search and seizure. A district judge in St. Paul threw out his lawsuit Thursday, ruling it should have been filed in a Circuit Court of Appeals.

Outside the federal courthouse in St. Paul, with a crew from his “Conspiracy Theory” cable TV show filming, Ventura said he hadn’t decided whether to continue pressing his lawsuit. He said he wanted to make his case before a jury not a panel of judges. A video has since been posted on Youtube of Ventura’s rant:

Ventura has said a titanium hip implanted in him in 2008 sets off metal detectors and that agents previously used hand-held wands to scan his body. He said he was subjected to a body pat-down after an airport metal detector went off last November. Ventura said he hasn‘t flown since and won’t fly commercially again.

Ventura, a political independent who served one term as governor, teased that he might have to run for president to change the policy and a court system he regards as broken. Moments later, he vowed to apply for Mexican citizenship so he can live there more months of the year.

The former Navy SEAL said he had lost his patriotism.

“I will never stand for a national anthem again. I will turn my back and I will raise a fist,” he said.

At least you will agree he is a wartime volunteer Navy SEAL Vietnam hero with dozens of operations to his credit. At least he served his country, and helped keep you free. So what if he thinks about political issues in his own. It is a big old country full of thinkers thanks in part to young petty officer Ventura.

Ventura is correct about the TSA. He wanted this case to go before a jury but the judge kicked it out so it wouldn’t. The court of popular opinion already says the TSA is corrupt and has stripped us of our 4th amendment right and it‘s time for a real jury of peers to make that decision or we’ll never get rid of it… unless we vote for Ron Paul! Ron Paul was the first and most vocal against the TSA.

      Jesse,

I’m sorry to hear that you have given up on America. I, for one, have NOT. I still believe that in spite of the mistakes, and even outright degradation of our Constitution that has been going on for the last several decades… that it is STILL the best thing going on the face of the planet. I will love it and fight for it until the bitter end. And I sure as heck will NOT be going down to MEXI-HELL where druglords and corruption reign supreme.

I also detest what air travel has become. I am old enough to recall a time in my youth when flying was a real treat. Stewardesses looked like models, and brought us kids coloring books and gave us plastic “wing” pins. Everyone was served a good hot meal. Adults were allowed to light up a cigar on those long flights. Grandma could come and kiss our faces goodbye at the boarding gate.

We’re better than this. I have to believe we can find a way to restore what is good, and still keep Americans safe without treating civilians like prisoners in a concentration camp.

Jesse – will you be a part of the solution, or will you run away?

MONICNE, no I don’t agree that he was a wartime volunteer Navy SEAL Vietnam hero. I was a grunt in the Marine Corps in the early 80′s. Marines died and killed while I was on active duty (I was mainly drinking and womanizing in asia) and I would never think of claiming to be recon or a sniper in Beirut.
I was ready to do my part as I am sure he was but to claim a piece of honor earned by others is simply wrong and dishonorable and he is again in this instance.

James Janus (aka Jesse Ventura) has spent over 14 years serving his country in the Navy UDT, as a mayor, and a Governor. I‘d say he’s earned his right to his opinion.
His awakening began when he was at Harvard, and McNamara came through and admitted that the “Gulf of Tonkin” event NEVER HAPPENED.
For those of you who are ignorant of history, that was the (non) event that kicked off the Vietnam war, and killed over 60,000 of his generation.
He may not be perfect, but at least he has the balls to ACTUALLY “Question Boldly,” unlike some that just go with whatever Glenn Beck or the TEEVEE tells them. He is usually one to admit that he has more questions than answers, instead of spewing nonsense like “the truth lives here.“ Anyone who claims to have the market of ”truth” cornered, is suspect in my book. “Beware the Crusader.”
“Dissent is the greatest form of Patriotism” Thomas Jefferson

Also, his wife has a medical condition that makes living in Minnesota in the winter, very dangerous to her health. They live in Mexico during the winter, and Minnesota during the summer.

Personally, IMHBLO, I understand Jesse’ point of view. It’s not “government” that I am sworn to protect, any way. It’s the Constitution.

My problem is that I don’t believe the active military has the same philosophy. And as Waco proved they aren’t afraid to use it, despite an unbeatable presence, compassion is wantonly disregarded.

That isn‘t a ’benevolent leader’ (B.J.Clinton / A.G. J. Reno). It’s a sign of a tyrant. We’ve seen it from China enough, we should know.

I always wanted to elect Pat Paulson when ever he ran for president, also. The thing is, and there is really no way of getting around this, congress has to be willing to work with the president for him to be effective in his own agenda. We are seeing that example right now.

obama had a 100% sympathetic congress when he was elected. But, now that 1 election has demonstrated with crystal clarity that ‘voters’ aren’t going to tolerate this monkey shines any more, attitudes are beginning to change, a bit.

I like Jessee. A lot. But some people aren’t presidential material. He’s one. He’s a common sense unpolished straight forward man with a strong tactical competitive nature. Much of the world diplomatic corps can’t tolerate “unpolished” the way most people can’t tolerate food poisoning.

Some people didn’t think Regan was all that bright, but the Iranians let go a slew of American hostages with in the hour of his inauguration.

It all comes down to someone definition of “Unreasonable” and the only thing “unreasonable” in this story, is Jesse Ventura. He realy is a dimwit, no one MUST board a Plane, you do NOT have a right to fly.

@Monicne you foolish “Tea” spam is just that, foolish. If you can’t keep up and/or contribute to a conversation it is considered polite to be silent…please keep silent.

I thought being a SEAL was all about never giving up. Well Mr Ventura, it sounds like you‘ve surrendered to your anger instead of seeking supporters and trying to change the policy you don’t like through legislative means. Perhaps you should go to Mexico, I hear its nice there this time of year.
