Fox Affiliate Refers to Neo-Nazis as ‘Civil Rights Group’

A Fox affiliate in Orlando reported Saturday on a “civil rights group” that was making its presence known in Sanford, Florida.  The group?  A National Socialist Movement “neo-nazi” organization.

“There’s another civil rights group in town,” reporter Jennifer Bisram said without a hint of irony, “the national socialist organization.”

The Southern Poverty Law Center described this “civil rights group”:

The National Socialist Movement (NSM) is one of the largest and most prominent neo-Nazi groups in the United States. The group is notable for its violent anti-Jewish rhetoric, its racist views and its policy allowing members of other racist groups to join NSM while remaining members of other groups. Until 2007, NSM members protested in full Nazi uniforms, now traded in for black “Battle Dress Uniforms.” [...]

The group openly idolizes Adolf Hitler, described in NSM propaganda as, “Our Fuhrer, the beloved Holy Father of our age … a visionary in every respect.” NSM says only heterosexual “pure-blood whites” should be allowed U.S. citizenship and that all nonwhites should be deported, regardless of legal status. As [one] put it: “The Constitution was written by white men alone. Therefore, it was intended for whites alone.”

Whoops!

The affiliate realized its mistake soon after the report.  An online story referring to the group was replaced, with “civil rights group” becoming “neo-nazi group.”  The new story also does not include the original video.

Fox Affiliate Refers to Neo Nazis as Civil Rights Group

An editor’s note at the end of the new story explains: “The report originally published Saturday inadvertently referred to the National Socialist Movement as a civil rights group. We intended to refer to them as a ‘self-proclaimed’ civil rights group.”

What’s pretty nutty about his whole story, is that the incident happened in a mixed neighborhood with less than 43% whites. That’s a majority of minorities. The two involved in the clash were both minorities, one a Latino, the other Black. And yet, NBPanthers wants to kill white folk over it. WTF?

calling neo-nazis a ”civil rights group” is the SAME as calling the NBP a “civil rights group”.

    being white pro-Americans, we have a thought…
when the obama-incited obama-led black on white race war hits “your” neighborhood, do you really want to chance it trying to reason for your family’s lives with a mob of mindless screaming hooting flailing ”new black panthers” who see nothing but a blood-soaked excuse to finally torture and murder whites ….(Haiti, March 1805, the blacks there murdered every single white man, woman AND child AND infant on the island.. the white women were tortured, mutilated and barely kept alive to be raped for days right upon the rotting hacked bodies of their children. ) — or do you want to look out on your lawn at a group of heavily-armed clear-thinking neo-nazi ‘soldiers’ [as stupid as THEIR own mindless hate is] …defending you?

      1. The word “Nazi” is often used simply as a word-bugaboo, without referring to its real content – National Socialism.
As with any Socialism, whether it’s German National Socialism or Jewish Zionist Socialism or Soviet International Socialism, its adherents and ideologists and ideologues ALWAYS talk about “civil rights.”
So, from this theoretico-philosophical standpoint, it’s true – NAZI is about “civil rights.”

A completely different story is what Socialists understand under civil rights.
French Socialism forefathers understood civil rights as something that could be equally spread among those whom they did not guillotine yet (the guillotined individuals who in eyes of Revolutionaries didn’t deserve any civil rights, constituted over 40,000.)
      I am kidding…almost.

      2. As one who lived under Commies 50 years, I am always wondering: why the heck Americans are scared of National Socialism but vote for the International Socialism?
National Socialism has its arms up to ears in Jewish, Gypsies, ill people’s blood.
But the volume of that blood is significantly smaller that the blood on arms of International Socialists (Bolsheviks).
So, why the heck Americans keep being scared of National Socialism, but “bravely (aka brainlessly) keep voting for adherents of International Socialism? It’s “beyond my pay grade,” as the obama-in-Chief used to say.

Another important aspect that’s often left out – it was the National Socialist Worker’s Party. It started as a Union movement.

On one hand, you’re right: Socialism and civil rights are not much compatible notions. I wrote about it.

On the other hand, regarding your rejection of the Patriot Act:
I remember many real cases in the USSR (where I lived 50 years) when somebody called the Militsia (Soviet kind of Police) asking for help or prevention of a potential crime.
A usual answer always was this: “Did they kill you? No? Come when they will kill you.”
Do you think I am joking? No. It was a very sad truth. As you see – no “patriot act.”
And I recall several deaths that happened just because of the said situation. Is this what you want?
Don’t blame Bush for his sometimes botched and/or clumsy attempts to save American lives. Even if he sometimes made some mistakes, at least he loved/loves America. Unlike the obama-in-Chief.

I see where you‘re coming from but there’s a difference between wanting a competent crime prevention/protection organization and a government that collects data on every move you make and every word you say and is willing to throw out our freedom in the name of bigger government and perceived safety. Of course I don‘t want a police force that doesn’t respond to my calls or an FBI that doesn‘t investigate legitimate threats but that doesn’t mean we need such extreme measures to be safe.
You give too much credit to Bush calling his words “clumsy” – I believe it was a deliberate doublethink argument. Bush lied many times to the American people, this is not a controversial view to take, you can watch every speech he gave in the lead up to the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. The bill may protect our lives or our property but the patriot act by its very nature does not protect our “freedom”.

You accuse Bush of the Patriot Act and of “deliberate doublethink.”
Well, what prevented you from mentioning the fact that in May 12011, Obama signed the Patriot Act extension after many liberal Democrats support it?

Unfortunately, the Blaze consistently blocks my response to you regarding freedom.
Thus, to say very short: try to honestly and thoroughly analyze your everyday life and tell yourself what freedom are you talking about?
There is no such thing as unlimited freedom, it’s just a poor imagination. Unlimited freedom is worse than anarchy: it is CHAOS.
So, any society must set some restrictions. America has them more than many other countries: count how many laws and rules we have. Some are clearly excessive, though.
The Patriot Act you blame was just one of those – maybe excessive, maybe proper – restrictions.

That would be like viewing the New Black Panther Party as a civil rights group for their “Black Liberation” ideology. There’s no mistaking it: both the Neo Nazi Party and the New Black Panther Party are seriously dangerous groups that only want to keep America polarized through the use of their racial hatred. If these two groups were really for promoting civil rights, they would understand that natural rights and equal justice exist for ALL people, REGARDLESS of their color.

Look how we got this big eared President who does not know there is a whole country of people besides the factions he represents. This “father” of our country might be one of those lurid people who prostitutes their own children (the U.S.citizen occupiers) to be fools for other countries’ governments. These fools enable foreign countries to gain credibility in their failed methods of government by allowing this country to emulate their type governments. We would fail too, of course, but that is not the worry of this President. It seems the goal is to enable him and his to have more control. This is not what Americans died for. Our people died for Freedom and Liberty that gives rights granted by our Creator not by the government.

Charlie, you are so correct. I believe we already do as you say we should, it is just there are no ratings for the media to report stories of people helping people, people enjoying people. The rating come from racist issues, heavy crime etc. I guess that is why they once called this the “News”.
Today, the amount of crime is so much, (regardless if the #’s show other wise), many no longer watch or read the news, many that do, do so for entertainment purposes. Sad huh?

Is it because as believed obama wants this to explode so he can call martial law to not have the elections held so he can remain president? –=hmm, something to consider eh?

People should not be integrated by the government, either state or local. That must be a natural evolution. Here in NJ we have the miserable Mt Laurel decisions of the 70′s. In that decision, municipalities are forced to provide 15% of any new housing development to “affordable” housing. Muni’s also have to submit a master plan for development (as a municipality) and include mandated “affordable” housing quota’s, irrespective of any individual developments.

So…..my question to anyone is, if you move by judical mandate -instead of natural evolution- any group who have been radicalized by agitators such as the NBP or A Sharpton into a middle to upper middle-class neighborhood, what happens? Lets say those new neighbors you have want to play loud music, have Pit-Bulls they have trained to attack, sell drugs, walk around with hoodies, rob your home, or break into your car.
      What do you do then?
      Do you move?
      Should you have to?
      Lets say you do move.
      And your neighbors move.
      And their neighbor moves.
And the neighborhood becomes a slum, like every town with lawless, hoodied rabble-rousers.
Does the municipality gain or lose tax revenue?
Did those “affordable” mandates help or hurt the municipality?
Those once nice…well manicured neighborhoods will become gang-infested slums.
      Homes will be abandoned.
      Crime will rise.
And all you wussie, PC Whites know it!

Obviously the reporter doesn’t know what the National Socialists are. And I think we can assume she was not alarmed, otherwise she would have asked the police department for confirmation of these patrols. Police has confirmed that to the best of their knowledge the National Socialists are NOT paroling the streets of Sanford, Florida. When will “journalists” learn to confirm stories before they run with them? Talking to someone from Detroit on the phone is not enough.

Next will come the sheets. Muffled voices trying to curse all who are not the same shade…..unless a few of the shades are hiding beneath the coverings. These are the days of wars within war rooms, so no one really knows what anyone is doing. Isn’t it amazing? Such a total loss of control for all those seeking to control the uncontrolable United States of America whose people are Under God whether they like it or not.

    Come on, Blaze;
Quoting the SPLC? Nothing will get me to stop turning to you guys for news and views faster than quoting these haters as though there is some value in it.

Asking the SLPC to comment on the story makes The Blaze look about as naive as the Fox reporter who described the Neo-Nazis a ‘civil rights group.

Well, just from the standpoint of this civilian, these are about as civil as the other group. They also have civil rights to gather. In their own eyes, perhaps they are practicing their own civil rights. So that makes them a civil rights groups in their own right.

Well, why not. Everyone loves a good Tea Party blaming. It keeps the name out there and the Truth wins out in the end. The real Tea Party are definitely closer to the Truth unless they get hijacked than what has been dirtying up this country.

“The real Tea Party are definitely closer to the truth unless they get hijacked…”

Well, BlackyB, I have news for you: The Tea Party movement has ALREADY been hijacked. The GOP establishment, INCLUDING Glenn Beck, have been controlling the movement since three years earlier.

      Hey Vance:
Kiss my white A##. Just because I live in KY certainly DOES NOT mean I’m some redneck hillbilly that the elitists seem to think. How many advanced degrees do you have? I’d say none, since your ignorance is really showing. Furthermore, I live in a state where we cherish our freedoms, our guns and our religion, unlike you who take everything for granted. Go to hell moron.
