The protest is all part of what they are calling the “cheddar revolution.”
And this evening the union activists brought teams of protesters to the Manhattan headquarters of Fox News:
The timing of the 5pm protest was no coincidence:

as things get bad , and these people who mock and ridicule fox, and beck find themselves broke and hungry, they will find themselves unprepared and unable to care for the children
and do you think the unions will step up and assist in feeding your children???? or do you think they will fold in among themselves ( the union leaders ) and leave their members in desperate measures??

My entries into the Mike Malloy article were removed (despite being 100% factual quotes) because the source was from The Blaze, which the mods deemed a conflict of interest due to not being a neutral source. So following the same logic, the Media Matters entry in the FNC article has to go… so get cracking.
Oh, wait- the FNC article is locked. Imagine that.

Posted on February 22, 2011 at 9:51pmFREE KITTENS A pretty little girl named Suzy was standing on the sidewalk in front of her home. Next to her was a basket containing a number of tiny creatures; in her hand was a sign announcing FREE KITTENS. Suddenly a line of big black cars pulled up beside her. Out of the lead car stepped a tall, grinning man. “Hi there little girl, I’m President Obama. What do you have in the basket?“ he asked ”Kittens,” little Suzy said. “How old are they?” asked Obama. Suzy replied, “They’re so young, their eyes aren’t even open yet.“ ”And what kind of kittens are they?“ ”Democrats,” answered Suzy with a smile. Obama was delighted. As soon as he returned to his car, he called his PR chief and told him about the little girl and the kittens. Recognizing the perfect photo op, the two men agreed that the president should return the next day; and in front of the assembled media, have the girl talk about her discerning kittens. So the next day, Suzy was again standing on the sidewalk with her basket of “FREE KITTENS,” when another motorcade pulled up, this time followed by vans from ABC, NBC, CBS and CNN. Cameras and audio equipment were quickly set up, then Obama got out of his limo and walked over to little Suzy. “Hello, again,” he said, “I‘d love it if you would tell all my friends out there what kind of kittens you’re giving away.“ ”Yes sir,“ Suzy said ”They’re Republicans.” Taken by surprise, the president stammered, “But… but… yesterday, you told me they were DEMOCRATS.” Little Suzy smiled and said, “I know. But today, they have their eyes open.”

You can also figure in the double-dippers, most union members retire early and then get another union job. I know that this is taught to most public employees. and then theres Back loading the last years wages because thats what the payout for the pention is based on…..all those vacation and sick days added to the base salery…makes for a tidy sum until death!

So we the non-union taxpayers are paying these union people so they can have much better pay, health care coverage, and retirement, than most of us will never realize. Plus we are paying them now to go out and protest… AGAINST US!
Maybe we should turn the tables for a change and stop paying taxes. Ungrateful scum!

Report Post »I am NOT anti union.. I know I am not happy to have unions involved in something that is being paid for by the taxpayers.. that is NOT fair to TAXPAYERS.. HOWEVER.. I also know that POLITICIANS are costing the taxpayers a lot of money with their PACKAGES also.. we have to pickup the tab for the Politicians pensions AND life time healthcare too.. the ones that seem to be getting the shaft here is THE TAXPAYERS.. I think that they should all be put on the same pay scale as the private sector.. for their pensions AND healthcare.. To date I have NOT heard ONE Politician address this little thing..

The president, the white house, many liberals and their corporate and union goons have been trying to intimidate him and FOX for how long? And he’s still speaking up.

Posted on February 23, 2011 at 1:43amI say let them have their pensions. If you do the math after 3 years they will not get their pensions anyways. Most people put in a small percentage of their pay, so at the end of their 30 years they only have put in a small amount. The unions admit they are loosing membership which means they are loosing money to invest unwisely. They are hard at work trying to get Obama to steal from us to bail them out. The funds are broke. Let these people fight because I won’t give them a cent. There is a law out there where instead of paying taxes I can choose charities to give my yearly taxes to instead of the Government. If forced I will do it. We should all be responsible for our own choices, good ones and bad ones.

Posted on February 23, 2011 at 1:50amThere is no intellectual honesty from the left.
Firefighters and police are supported by Walker. They are exempt from the bill, but the other public worker unions want to hijack them for sympathetic support.
And if I were an Independent or Republican “cheddar head”, I would resent the public worker unions hijacking my state symbol and calling their stupidity the “cheddar revolution”.

Posted on February 23, 2011 at 2:18amhere’s my take, if anyone ever gives a hoot about my, comments that i frequently post here on this site lol:
1. the goal is to discredit Fox News…why because they are a major threat to the progressive types, as they simply try to post the news in a fairly balanced fair way. Fox has been rewarded for it because facts and truth have a life of their own, hence higher dominant ratings compared to all other media outlets.
2. but i think this will backfire hard against the libs because it will make many non viewers want to view it out of sheer curiosity. Fox is EVIL: AND SCARY: THEY HAVE MONSTERS!! But if actually viewed, it will be compelling, and may actually raise Fox’s ratings even higher. I don’t know. Just a theory.

Posted on February 23, 2011 at 8:25amAmazing…my comment again is to say: these protests are the result of 100 years of liberal and progressive assaults on the Constitution and America. This “we dont like what you’re saying so we will try to out scream you” is typical of the LACK of an articulated argument. very sad.
On another note… i am here for my first day and have noticed the “trolls” on this site seem to have the same problem.

There WAS a time and place for unions, that time has passed back in the late 60′s. Look at how unions have bankrupted companies over the last 2 decades. Heck look at the last 2 years, GM and Chrysler ring a bell? There should have never been public service unions because who are they bargaining against? THE TAXPAYERS, and now the taxpayers are tired of paying for their own retirement, health care, and the lazy public unions too. Just another PONZI scheme by the Democrats gone bad!

Posted on February 23, 2011 at 9:03amOpen your eyes, America. the Dems (Libs, Socialists, Communists, ‘Progressives’) are loyal to their ‘momey masters’ the UNIONS. They could care less about the folks they are supposed to ‘represent’. The government workers are on a ‘gravy train’ and we (the taxpayer) are paying THEIR fare for them; in the terms of salary, pension and benefits.
We need to stop this train, and Wisconsin is the first stop.

YES, just like anything else there is ‘somewhere in the middle’. NOTHING is black and white!
Referring to the GM/Chrysler ‘GOVERNMENT LOANS’ – it WASN’T a handout – as it was for the big banks, and has almost all been returned to the treasury – with interest. The Unions gave back almost everything – except their right to bargain for safe working conditions. Meanwhile it was decided (by the last administration) that while the worker’s union contracts were worth NOTHING, they just couldn’t mess with any Wall St. CEO’s contract because, after all, it was a CONTRACT and therefore ‘untouchable’.
Don’t you see some sort of a difference here – in favor of the powerful over the not so powerful???
You aren’t old enough to remember the 1920s Robber Barons. I was born just as this country was creeping back from that time. Seniors starved to death on the street because they had NOTHING. Workers paychecks were at the discretion – or not – of the companies. Children worked from sun-up to sundown at hard labor – without the possibility of an education. Do you REALLY want those days back for your children’s children?? Because, the Corporate big-wigs are trying to return the work-force to that era. Heaven forbid they could actually believe that a happy worker is a productive worker.
