Editor’s note: After a great deal of speculation about Glenn Beck’s future on television, here is the freshly-inked news release. There will be a couple of key headlines out of this…yes, there is a new agreement with Fox News but this is the first confirmation that Beck will “transition off of his daily TV program” later this year.
The program has obviously been a great success for Beck and for Fox News, and the relationship between the organizations seems as strong as ever.
This news release does leave some key questions unanswered for now, primarily, does Glenn have plans for a daily TV or video program down the road? The Blaze will be tracking reaction and speculation about this news release throughout the day. Check back for updates.
FOX NEWS AND MERCURY RADIO ARTS ANNOUNCE NEW AGREEMENT
(New York, NY) Fox News and Mercury Radio Arts, Glenn Beck’s production company, are proud to announce that they will work together to develop and produce a variety of television projects for air on the Fox News Channel as well as content for other platforms including Fox News’ digital properties. Glenn intends to transition off of his daily program, the third highest rated in all of cable news, later this year.
Roger Ailes, Chairman and CEO of Fox News said, “Glenn Beck is a powerful communicator, a creative entrepreneur and a true success by anybody’s standards. I look forward to continuing to work with him.”
Glenn Beck said: “I truly believe that America owes a lot to Roger Ailes and Fox News. I cannot repay Roger for the lessons I’ve learned and will continue to learn from him and I look forward to starting this new phase of our partnership.”
Joel Cheatwood, SVP/Development at Fox News, will be joining Mercury Radio Arts effective April 24, 2011. Part of his role as EVP will be to manage the partnership and serve as a liaison with the Fox News Channel.
Roger Ailes said: “Joel is a good friend and one of the most talented and creative executives in the business. Over the past four years I have consistently valued his input and advice and that will not stop as we work with him in his new role.”
“Glenn Beck” is consistently the third highest rated program on cable news. For the 27 months that “Glenn Beck” has aired on Fox News, the program has averaged more than 2.2 million total viewers and 563,000 viewers 25-54 years old, numbers normally associated with shows airing in primetime, not at 5pm. “Glenn Beck” has dominated all of its cable news competitors since launch.

Posted on April 6, 2011 at 2:23pmThe chalkboards are what got him removed. I believe the ratings are lies. He is being moved off radio stations all together or to a time in the middle of the night. This is not simply a ‘ratings’ problem for Fox or Glenn. I see a concerted effort by broadcasters to hurt Glenn. I like listening to Glenn and the revealations of his chalkboards. It is in black and white. That is what broadcasters don’t want out there. Someone will eventually be asked to account for not reporting onn a lot of this.

Posted on April 6, 2011 at 2:31pmWhat ratings problem? 3rd highest rated cable news show and on at 5:00! His ratings are fine. I think he left on his own without pressure from Fox. We’ll find out more about this stuff this afternoon, hopefully.

We have learned SO much from you that no one else will tell us. So help me, FOX had better not have pushed you off! You’ve helped my husband and I to understand that FOX is really not covering the news well AT ALL because they seem to be oblivious to the fact that we have a rogue President in office and the fact that he has ties to many scary people. We need you on TV!

It’s a rarity when someone comes along and explains (in a unbiased and coherent way) the messy underpinning of our society. Someone who will take on the traitors of our Constitution, whoever and wherever they may be and I feel betrayed by all. No where, on Fox is there anyone willing to keep us informed on the happenings in the dark corners of life. No hard hitting reporting exposing the underbelly of left, progressives, commies, socialist, fascist, et al. Like all things in life no one believes in LOYALTY to us, the consumers. In sports it’s renegotiate or trade me/the best performance is usually in the new contract year. We finally elect people who will listen to WE THE PEOPLE (would not have happened without Glenn Beck); your favorite TV show disappears for one reason or another. Now when the show (Glenn Beck) is at its best they cancel it or maybe it’s just a rouse to see just how many people will respond and how they will respond in order for justification, whatever and whoever it may be.
I say see they all leave the hungry at some point in time!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It is like they are saying; Well even though he is is third in ratings, we just want to pull the plug on this ratings Bonanza. What they should be saying is;
Although his ratings are still third, we feel that his content is basically fear mongering, gold selling, unending lying and it no longer fits the agenda on Fox.
We are going to keep him around because hey, after all he does still pull in over a million viewers a day.
Granted, those viewers are no longer in the media market that most advertisers want, because they are old, poorly educated, and white.

Posted on April 6, 2011 at 8:20pmPeople who listen to Glenn Beck’s radio show every day knew this was coming. He’s been hinting for a couple of months now that “something” was in the works and he has been trying to fine tune it and make it happen. Stu has to shut him up almost daily when he starts wandering into that topic. Glenn has been PLANNING this for a while now, and it’s been evident to his listeners.
Who cares if the left thinks it’s a victory? They still think THEIR PLAN will work to their own advantage. Who cares how the left spins this? I don’t. Glenn doesn’t.
Here’s my challenge all you lefty, liberal whohaws-one year from now-if Glenn Beck is “still around” and not only still around, but bigger and better-I dare you to show your face in this forum and ADMIT how wrong you were. You won’t have the guts. I’ll be here, and so will all those people who actually have faith in him and his goals. And if I AM wrong? I’ll be happy to say it loud and long. Right here. One year from today.
I like Glenn’s radio show 10000 times more than his television show. I listen to it on my laptop or Ipod whenever I want-while I work outside, while I’m waiting at an appointment, while I drive with speakers, because it’s recorded and you can stream it online whenever you want to. It also comes on my local FM radio station and I can listen to it online for FREE while he’s broadcasting live. It’s not hard to find him using technology. He’s funnier on the radio-more playful, and his crew are hilarious and they play off of each other so well.
So-let’s see you naysayers and doubters…….three hours of radio every day, an online website, Beck University, live tours and performances, books, The Blaze, his online documentaries (which is sounds like Fox is going to pick up and broadcast nationally!!!!) and speaking engagements in all kinds of venues. Yep. Sounds like leaving that one hour a day television show is just the end of his career. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Never.

Well said. Pretty much what I do as well. I have the podcasts and will listen to the shows on my drive to and from work/school/etc. Especially since I can’t sit in my work truck all morning and listen to the show. As for his show, as much as I enjoyed watching what I could of it, I have to say the 5 time slot sucked I wish it had been slightly later. Call it a gut feeling but I think there is some big satellite station deal that might be in the works. SO who knows, time will tell but I think you are correct about this time next year.

Fox has been good to Glenn, and Glenn might be choosing to distance to himself from Fox out of respect for what they have done for him which will also allow him to expand his projects. Beck wants to take the path to become a 21st century Rupert Murdoch. He can‘t do that while he works for Murdoch and must broadcast within the confines of Fox’s boundaries.
Most notably, the big equity position in Fox owned by Saudi Prince Talal prevents Beck from digging deeply into the lack of prosecutions by the Department of Justice into Muslim Jihad within the US. We see “unindicted co-conspirators” from the HOLY LAND FOUNDATION terror trial in the form of three big organizations: CAIR, ISNA and NAIT. These folks were named to the list OF OVER 200 groups and individuals cited by a federal judge as known associates of HAMAS.
This is the story of the century and Beck wants to tell it. Let him lead this fight against stealth jihad AND THEN RUN FOR HIGH OFFICE. We’ll elect him to any office for life if he hands us our country back again!

Posted on April 6, 2011 at 3:55pmGlenn’s departure from his Fox afternoon time slot on television has several potential rationales:
1.0 His health dictates he leave.
2.0 Family responsibilities, dictate his leaving.
3.0 His independent television show has been marginalized.
4.0 He has taken his television audience as far as those who own the tv station, will allow.
5.0 He simply wants to take his program, presentations,in a direction,he could only do, if it were independent from Fox news.
6.0 lastly,he has decided to have a life, enjoy his family, and let us his listeners, viewers, continue his work. Remember of late, his quote to us, We are the answer. Get involved, spread the word. and vote.

and are we the only one’s that noticed…..sean hannity NEVER ALLOWED, one freackinf word about the huge event Glenn put together at the Washington mall last year……not one word to promote it, nor give it even qa ‘bleep’ on his stupid program…….even the following monday even he had Sarah Palin as a guest, and she was not allowed to mention ANYTHING regarding the event.
Seriously, watch closely and you will see the others on FOX, they do not so readily beleive the way most of us beleive and they do not support Glenn……..and if they might for a moment appear to…. well it’s only for their show.
Have you EVER hear hannity mention Glenn????????????????? NO of course not, sean is too full of himself………

Posted on April 6, 2011 at 2:22pmGlenn should start his own TV channel, I’m surprised that the repugs and dems do not have a 24 hour TV channel by now, maybe they do but I don’t know. Anyway, Glenn could have the American Patriot Channel, that way with 24 hour programming there is plenty of time for history, constitution and other educational shows that Americans are hungry for. If he could pull this off it would greatly help America and his wealth would be enhanced. With the growing list of dooms day and preparation companies out there, no problem getting sponsors, forget the big international companies being sponsors, they are half the problem America is in this trouble anyway.

You can WATCH Glenn’s radio show online every day … they have a 4th hour with the cohosts and then another show from 1 – 1:30 with S.C. Cupp .. I think this was a test .. he could do the show online with subscribers and not have to PUT UP with the FOX time slot or the attacks. It is NOT expensive .. under $7 per month and you can buy cheaper by the year. I would highly checking it out at glennbeck.com.

Posted on April 6, 2011 at 2:34pmWell, looks like FOX and/or Glenn has/have finally caved to pressure from Soros and others on the Left. I wonder….did Glenn receive the equivalent of a letter with pictures of his kids taken through a gun-scope, complete with crosshairs and an empty rifle cartridge included? Did Roger Alles get that letter? Or did Alles cave to the fear of the Left’s campaign to take away FOX advertisers?
I just don’t buy the “time to move on” line. To use a “Glenn-orism”, the reasons given “stink on ice”. Guys like Glenn don‘t give up or back down unless there’s a threat to their family or something equally grave. Particularly when it looks like the big battle between Progressives and the world is coming to a head. There has to be more to this than what’s been reported.

If by “balance” you’re suggesting that Glenn ignore the advances of Marxism in the name of some flowery, politically correct discussion then a lack of “balance” is exactly what we need.

Having an occasional special with Fox is not the same as visiting with him every day. I probably will not watch Fox as much, especially since I already gave up on O’Reilly and Greta because of their left-leaning views. I think his departure will hurt Fox more than they think.
By the way, has O’Reilly been cool when talking about Beck because he is aware of what Beck plans to be doing? It would be ironical if Beck landed his own station that would broadcast opposite O‘Reilly’s time slot. O’Reilly would get slaughtered in the ratings.

There’d better be some sort of Oprah-esque Glenn’s-looking-into-owning-his-own-news-channel move behind this. Otherwise, it looks like they really have won.
BTW, re: spin this as “Glenn doesn’t have a yoke and can tell the truth now.” According to Glenn himself, Fox hasn’t reigned him in so long as his facts were straight. That’s not it.

I am reading Dietrich Bonhoeffer‘s book on Discipleship and it isn’t the quantity of followers that matters–it is what we believe and how strongly we believe. I think that only God has the big picture–our concern is the little picture. FOX DID NOT FIRE HIM JUST THE OPPOSITE, THEY ARE GOING INTO A JOIN VENTURE WITH HIM, AND HE WILL BE PUTTING SEVERAL DIFFERENT SHOWS ON FOX, A COORDINATION OF FOX AND MERCURY.GLENN WILL STILL GET HIS WORD OUT SOMEHOW. I WISH HIM ALL THE LUCK IN THE WORLD. DEALING WITH ALL THE BLEAKNESS IS GETTING TO HIM. BUT I DO NOT BELIEVE WE WILL BE LOSING BECK. According to the article this had nothing to do with Media matters just the opposite,

Posted on April 6, 2011 at 5:10pmWow! I’m still in shock. I’ve learned so much from Glenn Beck. I know he has sacrificed much to get the truth out to all of us. I’ve seen his health fail because he put his Country and its people before himself. I’ve watched his show every day and have bought the books he recommends. I knew this was coming. He kept telling his viewers “Don’t take my word for it and do your own homework”. He is a brilliant man. My gratitude has no words for how he has enlightened me. I wish FOX would have given him a better time slot as well. I feel the same way as do some others that have added comments about the rest of the FOX anchors. Glenn desirves to rank first. A better time slot would have helped. If he leaves I won’t tend to watch FOX as much. It just won’t be the same. I look forward to 5:00 PM every day. He makes me laugh…He wakes me up…He really cares…He is a truly good sole. His Christmas Sweater was amazing. Not only is he brilliant but he’s a damn good actor…:-) We love you Glenn and thank you greatly for all you have given us and the rest of the World. You are truly One Of A Kind! Please stay in the lime light and keep shining on and “Follow Your Bliss” where ever it takes you.

America needs to hear what he has to say. FNC cannot let the enemies of the Republic win and go about their evil without anyone letting us know what they have in mind. I also hope that perhaps Glenn‘s current boss will rethink this decision and realize what a boon this is to America’s number one enemy, George Soros.

Posted on April 6, 2011 at 6:02pmI have a feeling that this “joint venture” between Mercury and Fox will include a new channel in the TV lineup. A co-ownership of a satellite station that will allow Glenn to expand his format even further. I don’t think this will be the end of Glenn by any means. I suppose we will have to play it by ear and see what happens but I have learned to trust my gut.

I think someone with leftist sympathies will organize and plan his assasination and call the gunman a “Tea Party Radical” and they will use it as a justification to push harder to remove the 2nd Amendment from the citizens. And everything he has planned will not survive to see the light of day.

Posted on April 6, 2011 at 6:12pmDoing a daily hour on TV is a lot of work, especially on top of books, tours, and a 3 hour radio show.
Limbaugh got out of a 30 minute daily gig, he didn’t have nearly the stuff going on that Glenn has and he went on to score a $250 million contract and dominate news/talk radio.
Glenn has special projects and Internet narrowcasting going for him. I bet he pioneers new ground and sets new standards on the web.
Beck will do to Internet narrowcasting and live streaming what Limbaugh did to AM radio.
Glenn already has a full head of steam “transitioning”.

Posted on April 6, 2011 at 6:32pmThis is the best news on the cable news front since NBC acted a few months ago.
In my opinion, Beck has never been legitimate. It has always appeared to me that he figured out a way to make a fortune by appealing to the most ill considered among us.
He appealed to their prejudices and their misplaced fears. In many ways he was most closely related to the 7th Century Islamofascist Imams who constantly contrive conspiracies in order to push their followers toward violence.
Even worse, I don’t think he really believed a word of what he was saying. He only believed that if he could raise enough fear among those unsteady enough to be convinced he would have a long, highly profitable career.
Fox is wise to be rid of him and debate in this country will only profit.

That is the only show, and channel, that is bringing us the truth and telling it as it is. As someone who has lived in communism, I can relate to what he is telling, because that is how the left operates. The left has been dumping billions of dollars in hate campaigns and lies, but that is considered acceptable? I question Americans thinking. I truly believe Fox will lose a lot of viewers. How can we trust you now? When the going gets tough, Fox gives in??? Came on, don’t you understand the criticality of Americas situation. Who is going to fight for the truth now? What will happen the next time George Soros doesn’t like one of your shows. Will you bow again and drop it? Posted on April 6, 2011 at 7:29pmThere had to be some irritated advertisers who where part of this decision. But there are other dynamics at work here.
Specifically there is the Mormon influence with which Glenn is totally involved. He will be a huge supporter of Romney and Fox knows that. The real shame is that the average American has zero clue about the Mormon belief and a platform that is broadcast nationally is a tremendous opportunity for the Mormon church to spread their totally bizzare belief system.
Mr Beck is sincere in his beliefs, just sincerely WRONG! Mormons are not Christians by any stretch of the imagination. Don’t just take my word, check it out for yourself.

I remember hearing him yell about what was going on with D.C. and literally said aloud “What?!” and stopped and found out how truly clueless I was. I knew I didn’t like Obama or Pelosi, but I learned and confirmed why. I do all that he says, I search for answers, I read and read, I make my teenaged daughter sit through some of his episodes, took her to the Restoring Honor rally, as she voted for the first time this year. I wanted her to experience the people, the monuments, and get a sense of what she may have to fight for. Now he says he’s leaving and that fills me with dread and fear. I am not one that lives on the internet, so I fear I will not see something coming and find myself dumb-founded in one way or another. Fox is screwing up. I watch Fox always, most faithfully Glenn and O’Reilly, but I don‘t think O’reilly wants to admit how much Glenn is on to. Well, if it’s for his health, I pray for him every night anyway, so I can only add wishes of good fortune to him.

Our sting of loss is heightened as that time of day runs dry.
Related news, connected, he ushered in each day,
Sure sorely missed, each treasure, as we plod along our way.
Locked down have been the acts of ill, intended for our nation,
Overlooked, dismissed and shunned by someone’s regulation.
He brought them out researched and proven, brought them to the light.
He tampered them with resolution, not for just the fright.
The lessons told with humor, the lessons told in Truth,
The lessons that our schools forsook, just filling banal booth.
With grateful hearts we bid him well, his lessons will live on.
It’s up to US to practice ways he taught above, beyond.
This won’t be won in fan fare, Our Country far and near;
Our Country needs restoring, don’t give up on US! We’re here!
In quiet we will order, our lives, with helping hand,
Reached out to sisters, brothers, in Charity, we Stand!
We’re looking forward to your work to draw our Honor out;
Your *calling* US to be our best in Truth, worth More Than clout.
No man has filled this place before, no man has had the courage,
No man has come before US with connections locked in storage.
So Here’s To You Dear Man Called Beck, A Man, Courageous Steel!
For all you’ve done for US each day, a smile, a teach, a meal!
You’ve come to where our minds were stunted, bearing Greatness True;
You’ve done this service for each heart, and now we’re Thanking You!
Glenn, You‘re Our Ray Of Sunshine in this world that’s gone awry;

Glenn Beck has an audience like no other has had in years and if FOX network has any intelligence whatsoever they have come up with something bigger and better to showcase Glenn Beck which will be very very lucrative to both. Posted on April 6, 2011 at 8:24pmThis is absolutely awful – I and many people I know look forward to his TV show daily. He is absolutely the BEST researcher, educator, and the list goes on. No one on TV or radio or newspapers, etc. can do what he does. He is irreplacable. He is honest and forthright and has been 1000% correct with the info he delivers. It is sad that George Soros & Media Matters have done this. GSoros is the one who should be stopped. GBeck is a breath of fresh air and honesty always. I, for one have never been polled on the Beck show or any other. So where is the outrage in this country. How many were polled and prob. they were all liberals. The advertisers should be ashamed and we viewers should stop using their products. This is all appalling. Glenn, I urge you too keep going. We viewers are behind you all the way. I will admit that your radio show can’t hold a candle to your TV show. You are better in a set up as you have on TV – none of those stupid-acting guys around. The guys on the radio show act ridiculous and so much time is wasted that you could spend on the important issues. Please go back on TV and have the same format – either you alone explaining with knowledable people like the ones you’ve had on your tv shows and/or an audience with you. No more Stu and whoever else is on your radio programs. They do nothing to entice people to listen. Also, stop going on Bill O‘Reilly’s show. He is nasty and abrupt to you and others. First, how do you keep Glenn Beck at Fox, and at the same time quench the fires at your important sponsors who are tiring of the boycotts and hissy fits from the left? Answer: Allow Glenn Beck and his organization to do the work behind the curtain and put lesser recognized faces in the forefront with the opinion/message. The left will still be exposed and the filth still comes out. The research is still there, along with the ratings, but Glenn gets to spend more time with his family and friends etc. while the electricity slowly subsides or is re-directed, brilliant, simply brilliant.

It’s too easy to sit back and listen to or watch Beck. Report Post »I remember that back in the beginning of Jan of this year…that Glenn was talking about a big change that was going to happen. But at the time he really couldn’t talk about it. So I know in my heart that Glenn wouldn’t leave the show do to any threats. He is very adamant guy in what he believes and would not allow the threats to shut him up!!! ;) But I do understand why you would think that could have happened here. Have faith that everything will turn out the way it needs to!!! ;) Just like in Glenn’s new book “The Seven Wonders That Will Change Your Life”, it is just another bread crumb on his path!!! ;) Have a blessed day!!! ;)

Posted on April 6, 2011 at 11:59pmTears were shed today for Glenns departure. Then, we really started to think about the reasons he might be doing this. There were many good reasons and some terrible thoughts. I hope he surprises us all with one of those good reasons, but if not..stay safe Glenn,..God Bless you and your family! Thank you for everything!!! We’re going to miss you!!!

Posted on April 7, 2011 at 12:15amAfter seeing his show tonight, I get it. As long as he’s there every night doing the hard stuff, nobody else is going to step up. Like he said, he is the Paul Revere of our day, not George Washington. Most of us were waiting for him to morph into Washington, myself included. He’s warned us. Now it’s up to us.

Well, woe to you all! You see, when Pontius Pilate brought Jesus out before the angry crowd, and they shouted, “Crucify him, crucify him!” and HE DID, that sealed Pilate’s fate. It’s a spiritual law (Matt. 23: 34-36), and it operates to the detriment of those in high places who give heed to the lynch mobs, when they raise their collective voice against a man who takes a stand for truth.
And given that God’s law applies to all, it matters little whether you are the top man who washed his hands or the toad who croaked with the throng. Either way, God spotted you.

Mary, and all you other Glenn haters… Glenn is not leaving Fox, he is leaving his show. He has signed up to produce a number of shows and other programming for the FOX NETWORKS. His influenece is going to multiply not fade away. He just won’t be the entertainer any more. Plus, Glenn is much smarter than many give him credit for. Whatever he has planned, there are two things that are guaranteed… One, he will make money at it. For you brain-washed idiots, making money is a GOOD THING! Two, he will be doing something that helps move our country in the right direction and helps to crush the evil progressive movement.
We need to start relying on each other now and not on him. Now are you getting it???
Love ya Glenn and thanks for all you have done for our country. Too bad there aren’t more around like you. Silly question… would you let us clone you?

Report Post »“Glenn’s Fox News Show was, by far, his biggest opportunity to reach a mega-mass-audience. Now that is going away (for whatever reason, but I think we all realistically know what that reason is – $ and Fox’s fear of losing it). ……………….My $.02 is that I would not rule out something like The Church of Beck being established at some point
_________________
You know what Broker?…I have to agree with you…We all know how much Glenn admired Whitfield…he has talked about him with great admiration…I don’t think that he will do a “church” type traveling revival…but…I wouldn’t be at all surprised if he does a traveling American Revival…He also really respects Reverend Graham…look at the crowds that Billy drew all of this country and the world…Glenn knows that we are in for a very long road in rebuilding the fundamental fabric of this nation…He also stated on his radio program that he has made certain that money is put away to take care of his family, but, he feels a need to be there for Americans in need, all over the country…I’m not sure what he meant, but look at the way that he led us all to Wilmington, Ohio…who else but Glenn would have done that? No one…I don’t believe that anyone has had much success in using a website to replace television…I can’t see him going that way…I also know that he feels a genuine sense of responsibility to his staff and their families…whatever he is doing, I believe will be big enough to keep them all employed…should be interesting…but, like Glenn said, this isn’t about HIM…this is all about our Liberty…

Posted on April 7, 2011 at 1:29amI wish I had more information about this transition. I am certain that the pressure from the soros organizations are emmense, BUT there needs to be someone if not Beck to be the peoples advocate, to expose these currupted people and their plots and ideology. doing the homework the issues that the other stations will not even discuss. Without Glenn and his show being on I feel that the majority of the American Patriots like me would be blinded, with no idea of what is going on on the dark side of government and social conditions. WITHOUT Glenn NO-One would know about the connections of spookie dude, NO ONE would have a clue of who he was. NO-One would know about the muslim brotherhood and their true agenda. NO-One would question the motives of the administrative goons. van jones would still be in office. NO-One in the USA would know that we are no longer supporting Isreal.
LOOSING Glenn’s show would be a death blow to the American conscience.
I really like the judge but he yells all the time and I find it becomes annoying. I want to be informed not yelled at. and Stu wouldnt be able to take over for him cause he wouldnt be able to maintain a serious attitude when reporting some of the crazy stuff. I can hear him now “ARE YOU CRAZY” THESE MORONS DID WHAT?!? or break out in a “democrats lost the a$$” song (BTW I loved it and sang along) I hope and PRAY that there is going to be a venue open to everyone without subscription. if it were to go to FBN, I cant get it here without a huge fee.
I would love to see Beck get an entire channel dedicated to the reporting on everything the govrnment does. Not him doing all the reporting but to have a team of truthsayers.

Posted on April 7, 2011 at 1:55amAbout Glenn running for president. Well I dont think its actually something he would want to do. If he did in any capacity Pres or VP I would support him, but I dont think he is going to run without a major push from the american people. Like “do it or die Glenn” lol Between Glenn and Ron Paul I would have to choose Ron Paul just because Ron has been preaching the solution before even Glenn made us aware of the problem. Most people thought he was crazy then (even me) but, i am no longer scoffing at his insight.

Posted on April 7, 2011 at 2:14amThere is as much speculation going on here as an oil market and nobody likes a guesser…
FACTS:
Glenn announced at the beginning of the year some “major” changes coming in the spring/summer but could not be specific.
Glenn said on about 95% of the shows he disliked being that guy on tv, he is more a jester…
Glenn said he will still be doing documentaries with Fox and specials.
Joel Cheatwood, SVP/Development at Fox News, will be joining Mercury Radio Arts effective April 24, 2011. Part of his role as EVP will be to manage the partnership and serve as a liaison with the Fox News Channel.
Fox News and Mercury Radio Arts, Glenn Beck’s production company, are proud to announce that they will work together to develop and produce a variety of television projects for air on the Fox News Channel as well as content for other platforms including Fox News’ digital properties.
Glenn’s two favorite desires were radio and his magazine publication.
Glenn subtly warns on the Judges show that those speculating and saying “victory”, be ware you ain’t seen nothing yet.
Fox launched the first daily issued digital newspaper via iPad called Daily. It is amazing.
How can he be “fired” if Fox is retaining his services and has a liaison convert to Mercury as Executice Vice President……
You always allow your enemy to think they’ve won and then victory is shortly before you.

Posted on April 7, 2011 at 6:36amThis is a sad day for America… Glenn Beck is a national treasure and will be sorely missed.
We have been watching Glenn since his days on CNN… We will miss having Glenn as a welcome guest in our home every afternoon, and we will miss his honesty and integrity. Glenn was the only one in all of our media who had the courage to speak the truth and truly educate the American people.
Those on the Left may jump for joy, but I believe their “victory” will be short lived. Glenn will go on to bigger and better things; and wherever he goes, we will follow…

Posted on April 7, 2011 at 9:09amI am very disappointed in Fox. Glenn is the only person with the courage and the insight to broadcast the truth. It worries me that Fox is afraid to let this continue. The shift to mediocracy may help short term but excellence is not achieved through mediocrity. I also now have much less reason to watch Fox. Hannity‘s heart is in the right place but he is not very inelligent or original and O’Riley is not very conservative and full of himself! Even though Glenn may be controversial in the eyes of some, what he has to say desperately needs to be heard.

Posted on April 7, 2011 at 10:35amRupert Murdoch, at the head of News Corp. (holdings include the Fox TV Network, HarperCollins Books, 20th Century Fox and The New York Post.) is a Bilderberger. Read the book “The True Story of the Bilderberg Group” by Daniel Estulin. EVERYTHING, including attendee lists are in there.
(Bilderberg Group has been holding yearly secretive meetings around the world since 1954. Only the who’s who of the global elites are members, including top government, corporate execs, media execs, multi-billionaires.)
Lately, I have noticed a distinct degradation of Fox News. Even Kelly (anchor at noon) is now sticking up for the president and glosses over a lot, almost seemingly unaware of things that Beck has brought to light… As if trying to avoid topics outside of the mainstream media. Hannity, same thing. Although he toots the main-line republican chant very intensely. It is sickening. He somehow completely neglects the important things that Beck has brought to our attention.
Beck told us recently that even more aggressive pressure on Murdoch’s financial interests by Media Matters and the like is taking place. It seems that Murdoch, being a Bilderberger, is caught between a rock and a hard place. Beck goes against what the NWO agenda is, and Murdoch being part of that agenda, can’t tone down Beck enough; so Beck has to go. When money and the NWO speaks, people bend over.
It is apparent that Murdoch has Hannity, Kelly, O’reilly and the like, under control. Next we’ll see Arianna Huffington as the host of the old Glenn Beck hour.
