FOX News Correspondent Caught Sleeping During Live Interview

Television news can be stressful and exhausting, especially considering its fluid nature and the unpredictable hours that some reporters are asked to appear on-air. These factors become increasingly problematic when there’s a noteworthy event going on — for instance: Super Tuesday.
This morning, FOX News correspondent Doug Luzader fell victim to a bout of tiredness during a scheduled appearance on Austin, Texas’ KTBC. When anchor Joe Bickett attempted to toss over to Luzader, who was appearing via satellite from Washington, D.C., the correspondent was fast asleep.
Watch the awkward incident, below:
As TVSpy noted, Luzader may have been unable to hear Bickett’s attempts to speak with him, as he was unresponsive in the split-screen shots above. An hour after the incident, the two connected and discussed GOP primary results without incident.
Luzader shouldn’t be embarrassed, though. He’s not the first individual to be caught sleeping on the job. Yesterday, The Blaze reported about Newt Gingrich’s on-air nap while addressing the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) audience.
And in October, singer and actor Harry Belafonte fell asleep during an appearance on the KBAK-KBFX morning show (Bakersfield, California).

Posted on March 7, 2012 at 3:36pmI do not know how some of these reporters do it, even Glenn. They are up all night and then up way too early to have gotten 6-8 hours sleep. They had all better start taking care of themselves or more will pass away like Breitbart.

Posted on March 7, 2012 at 1:32pmIt’s funny and everything – but – if I wanted funny – I’d switch web sites.
Oh – I got a good one…. Guess who said ALL of these statements…… (Answer at bottom)
- Under my plan of a cap-and-trade system, electricity rates would necessarily skyrocket
- So if somebody wants to build a coal-powered plant, they can. It’s just that it will bankrupt them because they’re going to be charged a huge sum for all that greenhouse gas that’s being emitted
- Our individual salvation depends on our collective salvation.
All those were OBAMA
Now something else…. How about these….
- It’s time to put the common good, the national interest, ahead of individuals.
Report Post »- We’re going to take things away from you on behalf of the common good
- I am a fan of the social policies that you find in Europe
- I hope we will come together as a nation and do whatever it takes to keep guns away from people
- I certainly think the free-market has failed
- (We) can’t just let business as usual go on, and that means something has to be taken away from some people.
- The money has to go to the federal government because the federal government will spend that money better than the private sector will spend it.
- The unfettered free market has been the most radically destructive force in American life in the last generation
— All those were… Hillary Clinton

Posted on March 7, 2012 at 1:57pmWell, let’s start with this week. Every time you hear that the Obama administration set this Fluke thing as a trap for Rush ( ie.3/6 on The5~EricBolling,) any time anyone promotes the lie that Flukes testimony was about wanting to get birth control free for recreational sexual activity purposes (ie. Father Morris on F&F, 3/4) Admittedly this has been an especially big week with FoxFiends carrying water for Rush’s lies. But thanx for playing :^)

“On Tuesday MSNBC’s Contessa Brewer fretted over health care reform protesters legally carrying guns: “A man at a pro-health care reform rally…wore a semiautomatic assault rifle on his shoulder and a pistol on his hip….there are questions about whether this has racial overtones….white people showing up with guns.” Brewer failed to mention the man she described was black.”
