Fox News: Expert Says Obama Birth Certificate Is Legit

Lots of folks have been looking at posts and videos that deconstruct the newly-released Obama birth certificate.

Skepticism abounds!

This is one lengthy video getting viral traction:

But Fox News has talked to an expert who is skeptical about the skeptics:

The doubters have latched onto the idea that Adobe Illustrator — the premier program for computer graphic artists — “reveals” evidence of document manipulation in the Obama birth certificate. They note Illustrator reveals nine separate layers of the document, and claim it’s “proof” the file has been altered.

But that’s not so, says Jean-Claude Tremblay, a leading software trainer and Adobe-certified expert, who has years of experience working with and teaching Adobe Illustrator.

“You should not be so suspicious about this,” Tremblay told FoxNews.com, dismissing the allegations.

He said the layers cited by doubters are evidence of the use of common, off-the-shelf scanning software — not evidence of a forgery. “I have seen a lot of illustrator documents that come from photos and contain those kind of clippings—and it looks exactly like this,” he said.

    Incorrect. This must be resolved for poterity. This must never happen again, the curent outcome proves that. There are only 3 things needed to be president, I think it would be safe to say a lot of thought was put into why only these 3. History will show this fraud and in the discovery, will more than likely catch a few other rats for the future to see and remember never to question the constitution and the laws of our country.

    Unfortunately whether or not it is real or fake, he is or is not a “natural born” citizen will not matter in the grand scheme of things. Pushing the issue is wasting time and energy on a non-issue because no matter the outcome the damage is already done. We need to focus on more important issues for now regarding the furture standing of our once great nation. I believe it starts in our hearts, homes and on a local level first. We can worry about trivial things later and put rules in place that will hopefully not allow issues like this take up time and energy in the future… We all know that with technology today paperwork can be manipulated, as well as “expert” opinion being bought. Character cannot be manipulated or purchased, truth resides in character and that is what we need to focus on, search and pray for!

      I do believe that mistakes are beginning to be made. All of this…and other things are beginning to have their effect. Obama has shown his anger a few times. Also his raw arrogance. It will continue. While the puppet master could control “populations” he can not control individuals. Obama actually is his own Achilles heel. First he can not speak off teleprompter — who could have foreseen that one. Second, he has a temper. Third — and most important of all…. he has an ego. And it is his ego that will be is downfall.     Notice how many say ‘move on’ like we are all just simple people who couldn’t possibly pay attention to more than one thing at a time. SURE, as I question this fraud, suddenly I am distracted from all the more important things going on besides. LISTEN UP radio hosts, GOP, Cable hosts, etc: WE HAVE THE ABILITY TO MULTI-TASK. We can handle this issue and ALL others. They are ALL bad, including THIS one. What could be the reason for them to want everyon to ignore this important issue? Except possibly: We would want our elected to FOLLOW UP on a back ground check? They just fear their jobs, its too big of a deal. Nothing is too big of a deal for the people. If it is a concern, we demand action taken. On ALL of it, not just selected important items that may be useful to a political career or to make life easy for a politcal career. Get used to it.     It’s probably a real BC, but we haven’t anyone trust on the issue, so we’ll just have to live with the possibility that the American people were thrown under the bus.     Good job, Obama understands what a Natural Born Citizen is as defined in the Constitution and that it applies to everyone one of us. Now that his father is established, it means Obama is not eligible. Unless Obama believes this only applies to McCain. Glad that issue is settled. Please resign now, have some honor and dignity and stop putting all of us through this crisis. The next President will give you a pardon anyway, write a book, just leave.

      A natural born citizen is NOT defined in the Constitution. It wasn’t defined until the Supreme Court ruled on it over a hundred years later, and they said it didn’t matter if your parents were citizens or not as long as you were born here.

      The Senate resolution on John McCain is just that – a resolution on John McCain. It was never meant to disqualify people whose eligibility had never been questioned. Do you really think that Obama is such a bad lawyer that he would sponsor a resolution that said he wasn’t qualified to run?

      Did you ever notice that no responsible Conservative spokesman has ever endorsed any of this not eligible even if he’s born here garbage? No politicians, not even Trump, no pundits, not even Hannity. Most of the President’s Republican political opponents are lawyers, and the rest all have lawyers. If he could really be disqualified due to facts that he has never disputed, don’t you think somebody besides internet loonies would have said something by now? Why do people whose only knowledge of this subject comes from whack o websites think they know more about the law than actual lawyers?

Surely, as you and critical thinker are of the same high level of education, you can see that Obama is not eligible, regardless of what has been done legally or which political pundit has or has not argued the issue.

      Lets have a live interview with Obama and ask him. “President Obama, you have co-sponsored Senate Resolution 511 to verify that McCain was eligible by being born by 2 citizen parents, and therefor satisfying the Constitutional requirement as defined in Article 2, Section 1 “Natural Born Citizen” to run for President, do you feel that you satisfy these same requirements that you judged McCain with?”

      Lets put Obama on display and see how he spins this one. As an attorney, he knows he is ineligible, he also knows that it will stand until someone does something about it. Thats why “birthers” have gotten a bad rap, even though there are material issues. Obama and his minions have intimidated the media to stay away from this issue.

      If Obama had any honor and dignity at all, he would resign immediately and end this Constitutional crisis now.

      It matters who we have sitting in the oval office with control of this countries nuclear arsenal and armed forces, among many other issues. Obama took an oath, uphold it in all ways, don’t pick and choose. That’s called a dictatership.

      That’s right, because Obama was born in this country and his eligibility was never in question by anyone not completely ignorant of the law. The big problem with this stupid attempt to pretend that this Senate resolution in some way established th a complete and exclusive definition of a natural born citizen is that the resolution nowhere specifically says that people born IN the country to citizen parents is eligible to run. To claim that the resolution implies that people born in the country have to be have two citizen parents is fully as stupid as claiming that children of citizen parents are not eligible unless born on overseas military bases.

      Chet, you are missing the point that OBAMA has set a definition for “Natural Born Citizen” in his co-sponsored resolution. That resolution required McCain to have 2(two) parents that where citizens for him to be eligible. That resolution also cited Vattal for reference and definition of what a “Natural Born Citizen” was. If they did NOT want that definition to apply in Senate Resolution 511, why was it cited?

      Just because you refuse to see the truth of Obama being ineligible, does not make him eligible. Do you like having the Constitution trampled on? The American people lied to?

      Picking and choosing which laws to follow or not surely leads to a breakdown of them all. Obama was not elected king. Obama does not rule us. Obama is a custodian of our trust, which has been betrayed.

      The Senate resolution is not a definition of a natural born citizen. It can’t be because it doesn’t state that any people born in the United States are eligible to run, even children of citizens. It doesn’t have to because everybody who reads it is supposed to be smart enough to already know this, and to know also that people born in the United States whose parents aren’t citizens are also natural born citizens. The Supreme Court decided that a long time ago and Congress couldn’t change it if they wanted to, which they didn’t. Saying that John McCain’s parents were both citizens is simply a statement of fact. If only one of his parents was a citizen, he might still be eligible, but there was no reason to make a statement about such a case until one comes up.

      Do you like having the Constitution trampled on? The American people lied to?
      No I don’t. That’s why I try to correct the lies fed to ignorant chumps by fanatics who reject the lawful authority of the Supreme Court.

      Chet, you like to cite laws when it suits you but you refuse to look at what the Obama’s co-sponsored Senate Resolution 511 actually says, which was passed before he was elected. Senate Resolution 511 states “Resolved, That John Sidney McCain, III, is a `natural born Citizen’ under Article II, Section 1, of the Constitution of the United States.” They came to that because McCain had two(2) parents who where citizens at the time of his birth supported by Vattal’s definition. Not sure how more specific you can get then that. Why should this same standard, constructed, resolved, judged on McCain not apply to Obama himself?

      What case (please link the actual case with the clause) that you are relying on for “The Supreme Court decided that a long time ago”?

      Lets have a joint call for a Senate investigation and have a Resolution to affirm/deny Obama’s eligibility just like they did to McCain. Should not take long, they can apply the same standard they used to judge McCain. Don’t be afraid, the truth is what it is, it goes where it goes. If Obama is eligible, let them make a Resolution and put this issue to rest.

      @Chet Hempstead: I can see where you are coming from; but would like to present a senario for presidential qualification based on your interpretation of “natural born citizen” being born on US soil. Imagine in the future, one of the children of those Chinese women who came over here just before delivery, rented an apartment or complex and delivered their children on US soil. Or imagine a future for one of the many “illegal alien anchor babies” being born every 5 minutes. Now, the Chinese mothers returned to their homeland BUT their children, born here, are by your definition US citizens. We don’t know but I imagine several Mexican women also return home after giving birth, so, again according to your interpretation, their children are still US citizens. Egads, what if one of these many, many ILLEGAL children decided to run for the office of President of the United States. Would that be alright with you? I truly have a problem with this. I want loyalty to America, I want American heritage and culture instilled into my President. What say you?

    my biggest problem with the birther debate, “Natural Born” DOES NOT MEAN “birth in the geographical United States” It means “Citizen at Birth” or “Born to US Citizen(s)” This is the same problem with the modern interpretation of the 14th amendment that leads to anchor babies.

    Your PARENTS conveyed their citizenship on to you, it would not matter if you were In France, the UK, or the moon, If as a US Citizen you have a child YOUR CHILD IS ALSO A CITIZEN. Depending on the laws of the land your happen to be in you might also be able to claim to be a citizen of that nation as well.

    However reality it the Geographic place of birth is irrelevant

      Interesting that you do nothing but confuse the issue, TROLL. Natural Born Citizen means that the child was born either in the United States or U.S. CONTROLED AREAS. If you have a child born to a U.S. couple at a french hospital (God forbid!) that child can then CHOOSE their nationality later. It also eliminates their possibility of being President. A person holding dual citizenship CANNOT be President…PERIOD! A person who is a naturalized citizen CANNOT become President…PERIOD.

      No. It just means “Citizen at Birth,” you don’t need to be a lawyer to know that you just need a good dictionary. People born in the United States are natural born citizens no matter who their parents are.

      This is actually true, but it has nothing to do with the case of someone who was born with dual citizenship, chose this country, and has never claimed citizenship of any other country as an adult. There’s absolutely no law, code or court decision saying a guy like that can’t run.

      There is not and never has been any difference between a native born and natural born citizen. There is no law or court case saying there is.

      The Law of Nations, as its name implies, is a book about international law. When it very briefly discusses the term natural born citizen, it uses a limited definition that covers only those that every country would recognize as their natural born citizens. This was never meant as a universal definition, nor was it intended to deny the right of individual countries to adopt a broader standard, as was unquestionably the case in England.

      That’s why when the Supreme Court had to deal with the issue of defining a natural born citizen they said that:
      “There is no common law of the United States, in the sense of a national customary law, distinct from the common law of England as adopted by the several States each for itself, applied as its local law, and subject to such alteration as may be provided by its own statutes. . . . There is, however, one clear exception to the statement that there is no national common law. The interpretation of the Constitution of the United States is necessarily influenced by the fact that its provisions are framed in the language of the English common law, and are to be read in the light of its history.”

      And as you must certainly know by now, that meant that :

      “every person born within the dominions of the Crown, no matter whether of English or of foreign parents, and, in the latter case, whether the parents were settled or merely temporarily sojourning in the country, was an English subject, save only the children of foreign ambassadors (who were excepted because their fathers carried their own nationality with them) or a child born to a foreigner during the hostile occupation of any part of the territories of England.”

      Point is when one reads the COTUS and looks up Article 1 Sec 8 Cl 10 one can’t ignore the founders had knowledge and most likely had a copy of the Law of Nations as a refernce guide.

      Only a tool for the left would discount the significance Law of Nations played in the construction of COTUS

      Here’s a quote from Chief Justice John Jay citing Law of nations twice in Chisholm vs Georgia.

      “Prior also to that period, the United States had, by taking a place among the nations of the earth, become amenable to the *Laws of Nations*, and it was their interest as well as their duty to provide that those laws should be respected and obeyed; in their national character and capacity, the United States were responsible to foreign nations for the conduct of each State relative to the *Laws of Nations* and the performance of treaties, and there the inexpediency of referring all such questions to State courts, and particularly to the courts of delinquent States, became apparent. While all the States were bound to protect each and the citizens of each, it was highly proper and reasonable that they should be in a capacity not only to cause justice to be done to each and the citizens of each, but also to cause justice to be done by each and the citizens of each, and that not by violence and force, but in a stable, sedate, and regular course of judicial procedure.”

      Also happens to be the same man who made sure the “natural born Citizen” eligibility requirement was entered into the COTUS for POTUS. I wonder if he didn‘t by some stretch of the imagination happen to stumble upon it’s meaning in “Law of Nations”? Hmmmm Ya think?

Of course, there’s no guarantee that the next person affected by this issue won’t be someone you like for reasons that have nothing to do with any of this nonsense instead of someone you hate for reasons that have nothing to do with any of this nonsense

      No, only everybody who never looked in a dictionary or encyclopedia or any other source of reliable information to check on the information they think they have picked up from their careless reading of loony conspiracy websites. The Law of Nations is a branch of International Law that deals with the general standards of legal and illegal behavior between countries, as opposed to the law of international agreements and covenants which covers the specific treaties that individual countries enter into with each other. Any real lawyer or historian could have told you that, and anybody who was actually trying to inform you instead of confuse you would would have told you that.

Kinda makes one understand Mr. Obama II‘s obsession with students becoming citizens and getting ’FREE’ education. What is sad, is that Mr. Obama is not really proud of his father and continues to hide behind lies. Truth, no matter where that truth leads, is liberating. Obama’s whole presidency from before he campaigned until today has been one of deceit. I did fall for the deceit because I couldn’t bring myself to vote for McCain…because I say the deceit there. I missed it in Obama. Someone above said that if Obama were indeed proved to be a “fake” that it would destroy our country because the children of the future would never have respect for the office of the president again. I’ve got news for you. Obama has already completely destroyed the office of the president and while no one has been looking he has made himself “dictator”. I am amazed that Congress continues to think they matter. How can they be so blind? Is it “willfull- blindness”? Has anyone seen the last executive order signed by Mr. Obama.

      Personally I do not feel obama is eligible for president based on a foreign born parent and the definition of natural born citizen. And to someone who said Biden would then be pres…wrong. He was chosen by Obama. it would be speaker of the house.

      While I feel all of this is important, I do feel we need to stay on target (opps is that too violent?). Our country is being destroyed before our eyes and yes, Congress is letting it happen. We need to stop what is being done by insisting Congress act on those things they can act on…. we need to get a true conservative constitutionalist in the Whitehouse….and then the investigations can begin. My greatest fear is that perhaps it is too late… but then…. NEVER underestimate the power of prayer. Pray for our children and teach them the truth about our country. The left is the Piped Piper and they are stealing our children.

      You’re watching the establishment at work. Focus groups have told them that “birthers” are not viewed favorably, and since the election season is getting ready to fire up, they don‘t want to lose the independents in a propaganda battle they can’t win.

      Serious Doubts about what? that most scanner programs crate clipping masks and layers when they convert a scanned image to a PDF?????

      the “Layers” BS is the stupidest theory to come out of this debate yet. Every PDF that has any post scan processing done (i.e. OCR, Down-sampling, Image Correction, Optimization, etc ) which most scanning software by default will do some minor image cleaning, correction and optimization on every scan, will have these types of layers

      Obama Sr used two birth dates. 1934 and 1936. He didn’t start using the 1936 birth date until 1 year or so after Barry was born. However, the age listed on the Barry BC, 25, correpsonds to the the 1936 birth date. How did that happen?

      Non_Sequitur, your question is easily addressed. First, did any of the other Presidents you mentioned lock away their BC? Was the father of any of the other Presidents not an American citizen? Did the country of origin of the fathers of those other Presidents make the claim that the son of the father was by law a British subject? Did any of those other Presidents become a citizen of another country by adoption? Did any of those other Presidents try to make the USA a socialist nation? Hmmmmm. Your answers please. It’s tough to get stuffed down so deeply, but you left me little choice. Sorry.

      I don’t care whether the various layers were created by scanning algorithms. I can see with my own two eyes that the green color background is not original to the certificate, and that the black and white text (which originated from a black and white scan, which is obvious from the lack of red/blue color aberration at the edges) was laid over the green background.

      Also, the green background never curves or changes perspective, whereas the text and form lines very definitely curve at the top left, and do not curve at the bottom left. This indicates that the foreground text and form lines originated from a photograph, not a scan. Scanners do not create images with perspective like this.

      Like Monica noted on that PBS Group It never really was about the Birth Certificate. The Constitutional issue remains.It does not matter where the 0 was born The term used in our written Constitution is
      “Natural Born Citizen” and seems suggested by John Jay in letter to George Washington.July25,1787.
      As noted by James Madison it is a “criterion of Allegiance” .Obama has made manifest where his “allegiance ” is placed. And I cannot reconcile such to what was established here in America long before the 0 said (as a matter of persona/lpolitical convenience?) America became “great” .He noted
      our decline deliberately confusing such with our greatness. so we have a compilation of the Long form Birth cert.It does not matter if it is legit or not he is still the 0.

      I think anyone that does their homework on the birth certificate can’t drop it. It’s bogus. It doesn’t even have a seal on it. I won’t get into all the abnormalities of it as there are plenty of other places where that is taking place. Start by looking at other Hawaii birth certificates from the period. Particularly the Nordyke twins.

      More importantly, one has to ask why this is happening as it is. Why is Trump silent now that the BC has been released and all these unavoidable(unless one is a sheep simply doing what their TV overlord tells them, or unless one has an agenda) oddities crop up, he is silent.

      Mark Steyn was hosting Limbaugh’s show last Thursday, and has a great way of considering and talking about the eligibility issue, Trump’s role in it, technicality vs political issu, and more. Neither birther nor pro Trump, he presented a very clear non- emotional assessment of the situation and events without discounting or ridiculing those who want to pursue these technicalities. A breath of fresh air and a cut above o‘Reilly’s and Becks vocabulary.

      Just say it: There is NO WAY for you people to prove that Obama is a natural born citizen, despite few of you knowing that it’s enough to be born in the USA to be a natural born citizen.

      What I find most delicious is how many people here complain and complain about “anchor babies” being natural born citizens simply by being born in the USA, but suddenly Obama isn’t despite being born here? Can’t have it both ways.

      But still, there is simply no way to convince a birther that Obama is a citizen since all you people do is move the goalposts or deny clear evidence presented on a gold platter right before your eyes.

      If one side of a debate itself says they cannot be convinced no matter what, there is no debate. So please stop trying to debate it because all you’re doing now is foaming at the mouth and looking insane to a LOT of people who henceforth pondered not voting for Obama but will probably change their mind now.

      Let’s take a moment and hypothetically accept that the birther argument is correct for a second.

      What would happen if you birthers were right:

      If it was proven to be correct, it would take at least another two years to prove this in court and have anyone take any action to remove him as president. Then the OFFICE OF THE PRESIDENT would be tainted. What little trust remains between the OFFICE OF THE PRESIDENT and the people of the United States would be lost. How could anyone trust any president ever again, and all politician would be grouped right in with that thinking. It would cause our country to spiral out of control, and people to loose the general patriotism they have in their hearts.

      Each new child being raised would never forget the scar to our country, and it would grow in them the dislike of our Republic. It would seal the fate that within one more generation that the United States would cease to exist.

      But after Obama would be removed, Joe Biden would become President, and in the chaos could push something through Congress that would allow even more power to be given to the government. If the solution he had for the catastrophe at hand didn’t destroy America, it would just make things worse and add to what I mentioned above.

      He may have released his BC, or he may not have.. the point is it took him 4+ years to do it, dividing some of the country on the issue. Since he had it the whole time, the whole situation just makes him look like a jerk and he never should have been president since he acted in such a matter.
      Another real issue though is whether he gave up his citizenship when he lived in Indonesia. He needs to release his college records too and his passports.

There is no question of their legitimacy to hold the office, although the left insisted GWB stole the election in 2000, etc. So by claiming Bush stole the election lets hold you to the same standard. Why didn’t anyone question whether or not Clinton stole the election in 1992? After all he was elected with less than 50% of the vote.       Bottom line is that hiding all his records was a stupid move. At this point, little he can do will convince any but those already easily convinced. Who still believes the CIA was involved in Kennedy’s assination? Who still believes there were two shooters in that assination? Who believes that aliens were found near a crashed flying saucer? Who still believes Al Gore really won the election? Who still believes in Global Warming?

      The part I found interesting is that on the BC posted, Stanley Ann ‘s LAST NAMES WERE CHANGED to “Dunham Obama” from WHAT? And, WHY? So, the question remains, “WHO are Obama’s parents?!”

      I have sent all four of the videos to a congressional office where there is an investigation being done on this and some other things.

      As Rep. Allen West told the CAIR executive, “Don’t try to blow sunshine up my butt!”

      It is NOT enough to be born in the USA to be a natural-born citizen. The Supreme Court has already stated that BOTH parents must be U.S. citizens in addition to the person being born in the United States.

      I sent that information to the congressional office. I can go through the emails and find it if I have to. I have saved every email to that office, for future reference.

      Now let`s go to Wikipedia for the history of the hospital.

      as of 1978 (up to the date of the actual merger) the maternity part of the hospital was still known as the Kapi`olani Maternity Home.

      Therefore this would have been the case in 1961 when BO was born !!!!

      So, where did they get the name : KAPIOLANI MATERNITY & GYNECOLOGICAL HOSPITAL ???????????

      The short form certificate is phony. The long form certificate is phony. The birth announcements from 1961 (and consider the technology available at that time) are phony and it’s all a 50 year old plot to select a child at birth to be a Manchurian candidate. You’ve got to be kidding me.

      First of all, the birth certificate that the White House released lists Obama’s birth as August 4, 1961. It also lists Barack Hussein Obama as his father. No big deal, right? At the time of Obama’s birth, it also shows that his father is aged 25 years old, and that Obama’s father was born in “Kenya, East Africa”. This wouldn’t seem like anything of concern, except the fact that Kenya did not even exist until 1963, two whole years after Obama’s birth, and 27 years after his father’s birth. How could have Obama’s father have been born in a country that did not yet exist? Up and until Kenya was formed in 1963, it was known as the “British East Africa Protectorate”. But, this is not the only thing that I found that just does not jive.
      The other item that I looked into was the hospital that Obama was born in. On the birth certificate released by the White House, the listed place of birth is “Kapi’olani Maternity & Gynecological Hospital”. This cannot be, because the hospital(s) in question in 1961 were called “KauiKeolani Children’s Hospital” and “Kapi’olani Maternity Home”, respectively. The name did not change to Kapi’olani Maternity & Gynecological Hospital until 1978, when these two hospitals merged. How can this particular name of the hospital be on a birth certificate dated 1961 if this name had not yet been applied to it until 1978?

      ( the 1st item can be confirmed by looking at the CIA website, https://www.cia.gov/library/publications/the-world-factbook/geos/ke.html (look under “Introduction” then “Background” and also under “Government” then “Country Name”)

      Bottom line: “Kenya” (Formerly British East Africa) wasn’t a country name until 1963 !!!!

The smart people know this birther issue is dead and was long before President Obama released his long form birth certificate. Rove spoke about this months ago. He knew long ago it only make Republicans look bad for independent voters. Better listen to him.

      If FOX, who relentlessly pushed the birther issues for the last two years is giving it up, it shows that they finally got the memo, and that the smart people are starting to set the message for 2012.

      Birth certificate speculation, isolated from other disqualifications, has been a diversion from the fact that Obama’s foreign father precluded his being a “natural born citizen” meaning born on U.S. soil of U.S. citizen parents; he is further ineligible by dual citizenship for being born a British citizen pursuant to the British Nationality Act of 1948, as his father was a British citizen of colonial Kenya.[1]

      Obama is not a natural born citizen which, while encompassing a non-naturalized citizen, is a higher quality of citizenship required for only the President by the Constitution. Allowing a usurper to remain in office presents a clear and present danger to our national security and your freedom!

      Mistakenly equating a non-naturalized citizen with a natural born citizen, ignores constitutive eligibility exclusions established by the Founding Fathers. Potentially any enemy such as Osama Bin Laden along with a naturalized U.S. citizen, could have a child born on U.S. soil but raised overseas until age 21, then 14 years later be eligible for President. Similarly untenable is allowing Obama’s de facto presidency to set a precedent permitting dual citizens possibly having divided loyalties to be eligible.

      President Obama recently stated, “We don’t have time for this kind of silliness. Forget the birth certificate “distraction” and focus on what’s really important!”
