Still hardest for me are the images of the people that fell or chose to jump rather than burn alive.
I know without a doubt I would have jumped. I would have chosen to spend my last 10 seconds on this earth looking up at Heaven, in the clear blue sky, in the fresh air, thanking God for all that he had given me in life. My last thoughts of those I loved instead of a burning building. Compared to the fire and the smoke I have to believe I would have chosen freedom even if it was only for a few seconds.
God bless those people and their families.

We must never forget what kind of people these are! Muslims who’s mission is to only cause terror and calamity where ever they go! Our own government allows them to come here and influence our young. They wear their garb and nothing changes from generation to generation, including how they treat their own women and kids. You ask me why I really don’t want any of them living near me??? You can see why, by their influences, religion and demeanor.

Actually, it turns out (I suppose to your dismay?) that there is a separation of church and state in the United States, and protections for the freedom of religion and worship. Please don’t ask the rest of us to give that up because of your rather narrowly held beliefs.

Rough stuff remembering that day. Terribly sad.

And since yomama got in white house there has been an attack on Christianity and a propaganda effort for the Muslims, its ok for them to preach hate, civil unrest, and talk of the destruction of America and Israel, but a christian better not even think about praying at a public event ! Impeach the Traitors in DC now !

@Net Surfer 2..They are running our government. They don’t all wear rags. Look at the one in the oval office. Also..check out Youtube and see the men of the Muslim Brotherhood. These are the guys with a whole lot of our oil money. Obama was sired by a radical black Musllm and his stepfather who raised him was a radial muslim..men who were very political. Obama was raised as a musllim, attended a madrasah and also St. Francis De Sissisi, a Catholic school in Indonesia. His pastor for twenty years was the America hating, Reverend Wright saying that America deserved 9/11 and among Wright’s associations are Louis Farrakan..leader of the Islamic nation here in America. Other Obama associates include Rashad Khaledi, (now a university professor here) a terrorrist associated with the killing of (12 Israeli) Olympic contenders in the 80′s. Obama has also spent 750 million of our tax dollars in Arab countries refurbishing mosques, and 20 million to import Hamas affiliated muslims to US and now black muslim Somalis.
@Little Johnny… ( please let’s not have such a narrow view.).if we allow muslims the freedom to worship as they please.. one day they will not allow us to worhip as we please..they will only give you two choices one being Isam..the other will be death. You should try educating yourself.

Actually Little Johnny there is not “separation of church and state” in the constitution (to your dismay, read it sometime). The phrase is court opinion only. The Constitution only prohibits Congress (not Cities, Counties & States) from legislating against religion. The Courts held against the Mormon church practice of polygamy because it conflicted with other protections and it is not inappropriate to rule against a religious practice which violates constitutionally held freedoms.

If a group practices pedophilia as their leader Mohammad did when he married a 6 year old, and they mutilate the private parts of their females and stone them if they are raped, the group should be charged as criminals, not be protected as a religion.

@Hermeneuticals——I never said there was a separation of church and state explicitly in the U.S. Constitution. Did you fail to read my posts? Nonetheless, the principles that we are a secular nation and respect and welcome the free practice of religion is pretty important here. Sometimes it means people who believe what you think is “dumb” or “wrong” still somehow have a right to the same freedoms you have. Sorry about that. It’s the law. Keeping the dominant (Christian) religion from overpowering others in the public sphere is important, and it’s a balancing act.

I’m not an apologist for Islam at all. I think it’s nuts. And the extreme radicalized examples are downright evil. Same as the nutty stuff in Christianity, and there is plenty there to find fault with. Although both religions teach warmth and love and humility, I’m finding little of it here from the Christians.

Lots of hate. Not much compassion. Interesting, indeed.

@HI————–Regarding pedophiles, to my knowledge it is illegal and rather harshly punished in modern Islamic countries.

Here in the U.S. there are literally hundreds if not thousands of examples of (Republican) Christian men holding seats of political power or high positions in the church itself who have been found to….uh….“like little boys”.

I’m not suggesting this is a reason to invalidate Christianity as a viable religion. Are you?

@4Truth……..Actually, within reason the more separate religion is from govt. the better. And I mean this to be within reason, and again it’s a balancing act. I don’t need or want to have my govt. constantly making references to any religion or making decisions based on one scripture or another.. Not sure what part of the U.S. being a secular nation (by law) is so unappealing to you, to be honest. Practice your faith with your family and your church as you please, but why impose it on others through the government?

Appealing or not, to suggest we were founded as anything but a secular nation is a complete misread of history. Were this not the case, the words “God” and “Creator” would be littered throughout the U.S. Constitution. Instead, they are nowhere to be found.

Our country needs to get back to the Bible and use the “eye for an eye” teaching. Swift justice for those who would harm America, even for those traitors in office right now! Why are Cass Sunstine and the rest of the Weather Underground allowed to teach our children? Why are they out and free to spread their filth? We were warned by our forefathers that when we separated from the teachings of the Bible, our nation would decline. Our school textbook was the Bible; what happened? We stopped saluting the flag, saying morning prayer and having any reference to God in our schools and look what has happened. Our children think we are nuts that depend upon God, they are creating Flash Mobs and stealing from stores, holding YouTube video beatings, Only the criminals have weapons, teen pregnancy has risen off the charts, fathers think they have no responsibility for the family, mothers abort at an alarming rate…. on and on with the trouble in our society because we as a nation has forgotten God. Yes, you are free to worship whatever you please. But not being allowed to mention the goodness of the TRUE God has collapsed this society and in the years to come, each one who thinks this statement is untrue will have plenty of time to watch how they are mistreated by their enemies. Turn BACK to God, before it is too late!

There was a period of time after the attacks that the media had the sense not to plaster the gruesome images from that day all over. Why now are the attacks played in detail over and over on every show, blog, paper, etc.? I don’t want to see them anymore now than I did back then. Like most of America, I watched it all unfold live and it‘s not something I’ll ever forget. I think we need to focus on triumph rather than what the enemy did – the images of the rebuilding, the living, the heroes, instead of giving the enemy the gratification of seeing their handiwork played ad nauseam all over our media.

      @MISHA

Fox.com also has a live and replay video or videos of the memorial event. There is an area where one can click to replay the whole event with the fountains in the background. It is really heart rendering.

The family members of the 3000 who died were reading the names of the deceased in Alphabetical order at the memorial. At 8:00 a.m. Pacific time, they were reading the names which began with the letter “L.” Then, at 9:20 a.m., they were working on the “Ss.” And, at 10:00 a.m., they were working in the “Ws.”

Every firefighter’s name was introduced with “Firefighter” before his name. There were times when several individuals shared uncommon last names. That was when one would realize that two or more individuals were family members. I watched four young boys reading off their list of names. All four lost a father, and all four were toddlers or younger when their fathers died.

I am very grateful that Blaze used this 18:34 minute Fox video. When 9/11 occurred, I was working full-time and attending school full-time. I have seen more of 9/11 during the last two weeks than I did 10 years ago.

It is a heart-wrenching event that has forever altered the way Homeland Security, our militaries, and airlines conduct their businesses nowadays!!!

Or, you can stand up to evil, use these images to inspire and steel you, and fight back against the evil. Only then will the world be safe for your children or grandchildren. And if you can’t be moved by this event, these images, this EVIL, then take some pills and rid the world of your pathetic ignorance.

Isn’t it interesting? We’ve taken prayer out of the schools. We began killing our children at the alter of “women’s rights” and free sex, calling it “abortion.” Homosexuality has become a right and a favored segment of society. Out-of-wedlock births have become a pandemic. Today, we’ve expel God from the 9-11 remembrance ceremony in NYC. …and we ask God to “Bless the USA?” It appears that He has withdrawn His hand of protection from us. Looking at our government’s insane actions and policies at home and around the world, it appears most in this nation have been turned over to “reprobate minds” (Romans 1:16-32). It should not be “God Bless the USA!”; rather, we should cry “God FORGIVE US and Have Mercy on the USA!” with fasting and humble repentance.

But, who am I? Just one of those poor, uneducated people from fly-over country who clings to my Bible and my guns. Almighty God, DO have mercy on those who trust and cry out to you in humility for your mercy and blessing; those you call Your “remnant.” Protect us as your judgements spread across this nation and over this Earth. We see it in our economy; we see it in the paralyzed government unable to resolve its problems; we see it in the strife rising withing the population – the divides that threaten the very foundation of this country; we see it in the storms and droughts ravaging our nation; we see it in the evil and violence rising in our streets; and we see it in our adversaries gathering at our bor

ROM 1:16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. 17 For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith. 18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness; 19 Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them. 20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: 21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. 22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, 23 And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and four-footed beasts, and creeping things. 24 Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: 25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.

ROM 1:26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: 27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet. 28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; 29 Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, 30 Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, 31 Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful: 32 Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.

Thank you to all of those in the United States military for giving it your all in the name of your country, the United States of America. You are an inspiration to all who have been inundated with the political and media attention to the Muslove ideology. Your sacrifice strengthens the world and we appreciate you! May God watch over each of you, protect you, heal you, bless you, lead you to live in Him, and glorify Himself through your sacrifice.

We cannot allow our country to be driven to civil war or revolution. If we do, these S.O.B.s who attacked us on 9/11 win. They cannot be allowed to win. Stand strong and together America.

What they already won is that they brought us to the knowledge that there are consequences to US for our policies toward THEM. Even if the worst we ever get again is to have to scramble like a police state every time a national holiday comes up or someone leaves a suitcase on a platform somewhere. That we can’t be certain of acting in the world for our interests at the expense of others[propping up dictators for cheap oil, military bases, israel,] with impunity any more;THAT was their intent and THAT is their victory.

Liberals within days of 9/11…urged TV networks NOT to show those scenes…because they said they were too disturbing…. But showed with Glee…over and over again….the photos from Abu Graib, which would humiliate, our country, and enrage our enemies. THOSE scenes were okay…but NOT the 9-11 crash

What is Freedom? Is it an Idea? Is it a Noun? Is it a Verb? Is it Truth? Is Freedom just a Theory?
Can we define Freedom to another? For another? Defend Freedom on behalf of another, without really knowing what Freedom is? Ten years after Freedom came under attack; ten years after we vowed to defend Freedom, do we have Freedom? How many will live for Freedom, not only for yourself, but for those who have died in the name of Freedom? Find Your Freedom America. Find Peace.

How soon we forget the horror that happened 9/11. When the Muslims wanted to build their mosque only a small distant from where the world trade center once stood. When the Muslims would attack their enemy they woild biuld a Moque to show their power and that they had conqurered. I find it hard to believe that the Mayor of New York was willing to give his ok on the building of this mosque. I can not describe in words how I felt when I heard this. It would be the same as if Japan wanted to build a shrine in Pearl Harbor after they attacked us in 1941.

We must be vigilance concerning the extreme muslims. Never giving in to fear or hatred, At all times seeking the Lords guidence in matters such as these. All ways standing for I morals and never backing down when we should be going foward in the fight against terrison.

Um…..it’s called freedom of religion. There are tons of examples of Christians doing really (really) dumb and violent things the world over, and in God’s name. They have done them for centuries. Shall I judge you for their actions?

If you want to live in a Christian theocracy, you’re welcome to go find one. Thankfully, our U.S. Constitution will prevent that from happening here.

I remember, following the attack, how I looked at others. I felt one with all Americans. I felt as we were all in this together. I felt grief and love for fellow Americans.

I have become increasingly dismayed at how divided we have become. I still can not comprehend the liberal attack on George Bush’s efforts to protect this country.

Now we have the most divisive person ever running this place in the ground.

I wish we could get back to the day when being proud to be American was the norm. Let’s defeat those among us that want to destroy our American way.

This didn’t start at the world trade center in 93. It didn’t start at the kobart towers in Lebanon. When Cloumbus headed west looking for a new “trade route”,,,, Why? It was the Muslim pirates, at northern part of Africa. It did not start when in the 7th century with Muhammad, although from that time on he had a lot to do with it. It started when Abraham begat Ishmael. Sara, Abraham’s wife, then became pergnant with Isaak. Sara asked Abraham to send Hagar Ishmael’s mother and Ishmael out of the camp. That is when it started. Read the Koran. Read about “Dar Islam”. “The house of Islam”. That means woruld domination under Islam. One cannot talk a Christian out of beliving the virgin birth, life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. So one cannot expect to talk Muslims out of the pursuit of “Dar Islam”. In the Koran it speaks of some of this. But in the later “Edicts”, it much more pronounced. Muhammad gave permission to lie, decive, coerce, inslave, or kill any preson, group, religion, or culture complete the task of “Dar Islam. We must defeate them. we must drive them out . We must not allow them to get nuclear weapons. They have stated they want to kill the “Little Satan”, whitch is Isreal. Then they have stated thew want to kill the “Big Satan”. That is the USA.This day, 10 years ago was a big step toward that end.

And 10 years later…are we really that much safer? The fact that this administration has implemented the “Rules of Engagement” for our troops overseas, only indicates to this observer that the war has been politicized, as our troops are handcuffed in the duties.

Further, on 9-12 we were united. How far away from that point have we drifted? No need to look any further than the top elected official in this once great country. THE most divisive POTUS in modern day American history.

TORONTO, Sept. 6, 2011 — /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ — Recent opinion polls show that nearly half of New Yorkers continue to doubt the official account of 9/11: that’s 10 million people.
It’s not hard to understand why.
Military billions justified by 9/11 continue to deplete a fragile world economy – yet persistent doubts plague the official story while governments and the media remain silent.
The 9/11 Commission, run by White House insider Philip Zelikow, was resisted for 441 days until 2003 – then given a paltry $15 million to investigate the largest tragedy in American history (the Challenger space shuttle investigation cost $175 million.)

When the 9/11 Commission Report finally appeared in 2004, Harper’s cried fraud, referring to “a series of evasive maneuvers that infantilize the audience, transform candor into iniquity, and conceal realities that demand immediate inspection and confrontation.”
Since then an international body of qualified independent researchers has taken up the slack.

The resulting mass of evidence has never before reached the mainstream media, and is so vast that it must be released in stages.

The first round of evidence to be presented has been meticulously screened for accuracy by the international group of academics running the Toronto Hearings.
Sponsored by the International Center for 9/11 Studies, this initial offering from scholars, scientists, engineers, military officers, and political scientists will be read int

Kiwon it is hard to watch after ten years. The towers were sitting ducks and the people inside were helpless to defend themselves. Just as we are under attack today by the politians in Washington DC. We cannot allow ourselves to be sitting ducks as the Twin Towers were ten years ago. It`s time the we on the right are heard as our opponents on the left have been broadcast at so many venues here lately. We have got to make some noise ourselves, wake up your neighbor, inform the freind that would rather not hear the news, convince your relatives that`s all is not well in this country ten years after 9/11. The attack is on and we are living it.
