Crowd Rebukes Piven for Saying Tea Party Doesn‘t ’Like the Idea of a Black President’

We’ve already covered the fact that Frances Fox Piven spoke at Messiah College — a Christian, higher education facility. Now, what we haven’t delved into is exactly what the radical academic had to say.
Sure, we told you that Piven admitted that the “tea party is an authentic movement,” a curious comment to say the least. But many of the news reports that recapped the event left out her more devilish commentary (which, as is usually the case, was in the details).
In addressing the successful right-leaning conservative movement, Piven seemed to allude a to her belief that the Tea Party is motivated by racism. Below, see her begin to dive into this mantra (which has become commonplace for many people on the left). In fact, she even says that the Tea Party doesn’t “like the idea of a black president.”
You’ll hear a man in the audience respond to her charges, saying, “as long as he follows the constitution we don’t care what color he is” (referring to President Barack Obama). Hear her comment and the man’s response, below:
And when it comes to GOP presidential candidate Herman Cain, Piven seems to think that the successful businessman may merely be a tool to help shield the racism that she thinks is espoused by many of those who oppose Obama.

Below, MRC.tv’s Stephen Gutowski describes the odd compliment that Piven gave to the Tea Party later on in the speech (i.e. “authentic movement”):
When pressed by a student, as you can see at the end of that video, Piven back tracks and says that she doesn’t believe the entire Tea Party is racist or that race is their only motivation. That reversal in tone from earlier in her speech took an even sharper turn at the end of the night. So much so that she ended her remarks with a compliment for the Tea Party.

Actually, BO won because he pulled the wool over the eyes of too many people that were tired (like me) of a progressive RINO running the show for 8 years. (figuratively speaking since congress holds most power) And ‘the other guy’ was another RINO so to speak. I will admit I could be wrong but I really do believe this time around will be different. I think the country is waking up to not only BO’s agenda but the progressive/socialist agenda as well, and people are not liking what they see.
As for your comment on those of us who watch Fox and read the Blaze here? I really think that is a bit ignorant considering that many of us don‘t ’just’ get our news from these two sources. Furthermore we could argue ratings of various news agencies to determine which one the country trusts to be ‘less’ biased. Because to be fair all news agencies have some sort of bias, some are just a bit more objective than others. (and no, MSNBC and NPR do not fall into that category of fairness)

No it would not – although a shocking number of ‘occupy’ protesters are just that above – a few people out of the group do not define the group. Now show me a picture, or video would be better, of a large TEA party rally where they are walking around in white hoods chanting slogans that are not appropriate to write let alone say. I seem to remember someday in history where Al Qaeda killed almost 3k civilians here in the U.S. hmmm.. true one civilian during war is definently sad, but were they thinking about the civilians here in the U.S., NO. Get a grip dude, you’re completely incompetent to think that there was no reason for war, other than the fact of you using different statistics saying “Hey look at this statistic, but don’t look at the reasons why we went to war.” The CIA and FBI had evidence of WMD’s so they went searching for it with a lot of resistance, when they didn’t find them it was kinda bad for the U.S. Government, but then again the Iraqi people are safer for what we did and so are we.

As to the woman she is an avowed Communist who believes (oddly enough, kind of like Ahmadinejad) that society must go through a cleansing revolution in order to reach a perfect state. While she despises Obama less than she despises the Tea Party don’t think that she likes him. She wants a revolution and terror.
Obamacare didn’t come from a witch doctor poster. It is an extension of the label Hillarycare which was placed on the health care reform legislation during the Clinton administration. And she is about as white as you can get, pant suits and all.
Many of those who voted for Obama and are now turning against him did have race in mind when they voted. How many times did we hear that Obama’s election was “historic”? It wasn’t because he was a Democrat or a liberal, it was because he was black. White Americans voted for Obama in some cases due to his proposed policies but in large numbers in order to show the world that we had moved into a post-racial period. Obama was to be the first post racial President. Unfortunately he has been relatively incompetent as an Executive (although quite good as a campaigner). It is this relative incompetence that is causing a backlash.
The Democrats were elected in 2006-8 to ensure that the Obama or Hillary Presidency worked. Their failure is leading to their ouster.
