I agree that the liberal woman all seem to have the same or very similar look. I know several liberal woman and cannot stand to be in the same room with them. I can’t hardly tell them apart let alone by what they believe in but what they look like. And yes, there are exception in the looks department but I haven’t had that experience. The few I know are under par in looks, think nothing of lying to the several men they sleep with simultaneously and can only see as far as their God in the White House. It almost makes you want to feel sorry for them and then you come to your senses and say, Nah. (grin)

North central Ohio here, in Delaware county actually, not too far from Polaris.
We have Kasich now, so I‘m hoping against hope that there’s a chance for us to opt-out of a lot of Federal “rules” now that he’s in charge of the Statehouse. He’s already on record as supporting removing Ohio from the Nazicare law. I generally don’t trust politicians, and he may well betray what little trust I have, but I’ve had drinks and dinner with the guy, spent time shooting the breeze with him and his wife outside of that as well at the gymnastics school where our kids co-attend, and he seems pretty genuine.
If you ever get up around Columbus or northern Columbus give me a shout. I’ve got to start a Facebook page for this username so people have a way to contact me in real life. :)

The reaction of Americans, which gave rise to the Tea Party, has nothing to do with sexual mores and has solely to do with the desire of people to protect their freedoms from bureaucrats who have no respect for the American Constitution.
While in grad school, one thing I could not help but notice is that almost all psychological theorists were preoccupied with sex and their theories were developed with the preconceived notion that all human behavior is the result of satisfying or squelching sexual urges. Personally, I think such theorists are wrong and believe human behavior is motivated by existential angst. At any rate, in the sense that Piven is among those in the social sciences who believe the roots of all human behavior can be traced back to sexual desires, yes, she is projecting.

I did not see a lot of angry old people, I saw very friendly, concerned citizens from all races and age. She does not know what the are concerned about and she never will because she will never be tolerant enough to listen to them, only judge them, and label them raciest. I feel sorry for her, all that hate and anger she has for people she has never met.

We are not allowed to judge others. Judgment belongs to God, but we have been given the responsibility to discern the spirit, which flows out of the mouths of others. Jesus has spoken in the Word of God regarding these people.

She is saying that the older generation is concerned about sex, not about their own sex, or sexual fantasies – but in fact the sexual fantasies and sex of other people — many homosexuals living in America, as well as transgendered people. These concerns are a big reason why a lot of people turn to the Right… the working class is giving up social security and other financial help vote for people who have the same ideas as them — “to get back to an earlier time when a man was a man and a woman was a woman” where there wasn’t as much confusion about sex and gender roles and things, to them, seemed safer.
This point is true, as many Republicans do fear homosexual rights and therefore are concerned about sex. Plain and simple. It would be immature to hear the word “sex” and immediately jump to thoughts of Woodstock and free-love. This is much more intellectual than that.

Didn’t we endure an entire decade of “Free Love” at the hands of dirty hippies like her? Money? Evil rich!! But they want that money so bad they’ll do anything to get it including electing politicians to legally steal it for them. Racists? The are so obsessed with skin color it’s almost embarrassing. When my daughter was about 5, she asked me why there was white people and black people and brown people. I got out a world atlas and proceeded to explain to her that all Americans except Indian Americans came from somewhere else. I explained how dark skin and hair color protects you from the hot sun. I then showed her how some come from far northern countries like northern Europe where it was cold with little sun so they had light skin, light hair and light eyes because they didn’t need that much protection. I then told her that some people came from Africa where it was very hot and because they needed more protection from the sun, God gave them dark skin, dark hair and dark eyes, establishing that the only difference between the two was the country of origin. Nuff said. She’s never been racist a second in her life. The left however go on and on and on about the skin color of other children in the class. And how they should be sooo careful, making a big deal out of skin color as to intentionally and purposefully “not” making a big deal out of skin color, and instilling almost a sense of pity in the children. Black mothers start making a big deal out of skin color by harping to their children in an almost religious way that black children are just as good as white children, like their trying to convince them or sell them something.
These damned old hippies are just the haters of the past looking to be relevant again and end up looking like they’ve been dropping tabs again, or they never stopped.
As far as sex goes kitten? Nobody would go near that thing of your‘s you’re so obsessed about that you project it on others. Like Gloria Alred’s, it probably has teeth.
