‘Freaking Scary’: Anarchists Hit Washington State Newspaper & Home of Photographer

OLYMPIA, Wash. (AP) — Authorities say The Olympian and one of the newspaper’s photographers were targets of vandalism that included anarchist graffiti and an acidic substance.
Police said Friday graffiti was painted at the Tumwater, Wash., home of photographer Tony Overman. The words “Overman snitch” were painted on a newspaper delivery truck and an apparently acidic substance was thrown on the exterior of The Olympian’s building.
Overman told the newspaper that he believes a group of self-described anarchists is trying to intimidate him so that he doesn’t take pictures of group members during public demonstrations. He says previously published photos have been used by police to identify anarchists.
The newspaper says Overman was assaulted last year as he attempted to take a photo of a professed anarchist during a march in Olympia.

There is only one reason for that and that is to cover identity so you can preform unlawfull acts. Second part of that should that anyone shot at a residence while their identity is covered would be assumed to have physical harm in mind and leave the shooter blameless.

Dont disagree with you, but these are not anarchists, they just call themeselves that because even they dont understated anarchy. It is not Mad Max. These are merely destructive thugs. These are domestic terrorists.
These fools should be arrested and jailed for, I dunno…participation in a criminal street gang, terrorism, or ??? If the laws arent there to prosecute them, create the laws. Legally identify anarchists as a criminal element and then arrest them on sight. But do it within the confines of the Constitution.

Coordinate with one unmasker and one photographer. Find a target, yank the mask, snap the pic, then disappear into the sea of masked morons. Afterward, deliver the evidence to the police. Of course any place that has conceal carry doesn’t need to worry about such things. But here in Chicago.. social unrest is already occurring as flash mobs beating and mugging folks.

Posted on June 11, 2011 at 1:47pmI don’t claim to have any great amount of knowledge about people in these radical leftist anarchy groups, but I did know several of them in California after my service time was completed, when I was in the process of continuing my education. And from what I could determine, much of what prompts them into action are things that aren’t true, most of which are pretty far-fetched.
Most all of them, rather than judging information on the basis of knowledge by learning about it, the person passing along rumors seems to be more important to them than whether or not there’s a basis for belief. If so and so has high standing within the group, what he/she says has to be valid.
These types, I noted, to the last person, struck me as true extremists who all seemed to be fanatics looking for a cause to advocate, rather than reactionary types who see an injustice and want to correct it. They’re going to break up and destroy things no matter what their cause might be, and the more absurd the cause the more readily believable it is to them if it is presented to them by the right person.
Also, the fighting and backstabbing between members of the group are worse than any other I’ve encountered. They’re not highly ethical types and sink to unscrupous conduct against one another as well. However, they regard themselves just the opposite, being morally superior to the “dummies on the right.”

Too bad they have no clue that our Constitution if used correctly and intelligently nullifies evil.
