Thirty-five-year-old Taig Khris jumped 95 feet on roller skates in Paris in front of thousands on Sunday, breaking the existing world record by 16 feet.

Posted on July 4, 2011 at 3:11amThat was lame as hell.. I’ve seen kids downtown doing more impressive stuff on skates. And there wasn’t much risk at all. Safety nets the whole distance and soft landing pad to fall on his ass. Give me a break. Evil Knievel jumped on a 300 lb. motorcycle and had no safety nets. Don‘t even get me started on Travis Pastrana’s feats of insanity. Let’s see some frog jump out of a plane with no parachute, hook up with another jumper who has a chute on the way down and land safely. Let’s see some frog do a double back flip on a dirt bike between two buildings, 100 feet up. Those are feats of death defying levels and proudly American! This thing with the skate jumper even looked ridiculous.
By the way, I have never broken any records except an old Styx album that got too hot and warped but I do have a right to speak my mind on things and proudly do so Citizen B.
