Full Attack Mode: Obama Team Launches Anti-Ryan Ad & Website Calling VP Pick ‘Severely Conservative’

Hoping? President Barack Obama’s team has apparently been waiting for a Paul Ryan vice presidential pick.
The president’s campaign wasted no time labeling the Wisconsin congressman as “severely conservative” calling his budget proposal “a sham” and blaming his economics for “crash[ing] our economy.” The attacks came from a website launched while Ryan was giving his speech in Norfolk, Va. accepting the position of Mitt Romney’s running mate. The website houses a full-on coordinated multimedia attack framing the Romney Ryan ticket as The Go Back Team. The site is fully equipped to trash Ryan, Romney and their collective record.
The site features a fully produced pop-up video that claims Ryan-style economics “crashed our economy” along with a list of five facts framing the vice presidential hopeful as a tax-hiking, Medicare-cutting extremist. The peculiar “fifth fact” is worth noting as it uses the language “severely conservative” as a smear and frames Ryan and Romney as regressive on “equal rights.”
The biography section of the website is even more opinionated. It lists Ryan as “a career Washington D.C. insider” who wants to “slash education and clean energy funding” while raising taxes on middle class families.
It goes on to cite “Harvard economist Jeffrey Liebman” in hypothetically declaring that “Paul Ryan’s budget plan could cost the U.S. more than 1 million jobs.”
The bio continues to frame Ryan as “severely conservative” stating that Ryan wants to ban abortion “even in cases of rape or incest” and that he wishes to “prosecute women who have abortions.” It continues by declaring that Ryan wants to write “discrimination into the Constitution.”
“He voted against repealing the discriminatory policy of “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell,” and supports writing discrimination into the Constitution with an amendment banning gay marriage.”
On the sidebar of the site is a box asking for residents of Wisconsin who have been “affected” by Ryan’s policies to write their story. The message in the box pleads with Ryan’s constituents to tell America “what kind of vice president” Ryan will be.

We know, given the Bush tax cuts, which are still in effect btw, didn‘t create jobs and didn’t grow the economy. And those tax breaks – still in effect – still aren’t creating jobs or growing the economy. The Bush tax cuts did two things: the made rich people richer, you relatively poorer, and blew out the deficit (you may remember that Bush inherited a surplus).
Now those Bush tax cuts didn’t create jobs, nor grow the economy. So the Romney plan? Increase those taxes even further for the richest. You don’t have to be an economist to know what will happen with the redux of Bushenomics. The same thing that happened when Bush did it: even higher deficits, even less job growth and even less growth in the economy.
Sorry folks, this tax cut thing doesn’t work. You aren’t stupid right? We tried this policy!
But, tax cuts for the rich does accomplish the one thing it’s actually designed to do: get donations from the rich people who benefit from these policies.

BUSH DID THAT ALL FOR THE SAKE OF 9/11. I believe it was a PLOY by Bush – not to keep us safe – but, to keep us under government’s thumb.
There WAS NO NEED FOR THE PATRIOT ACT. All Bush had to do was ENFORCE his Presidential rule and make sure our securities procedures were updated and then JUST ENFORCE THE CURRENT LAWS! But, no, he had to flex his muscles and show the world what tyranny really is.
THE PATRIOT ACT REMOVES ANY RIGHTS YOU HAVE UNDER THE CONSTITUTION.
Now, let’s see what Romney and Ryan do. If they truly believe in LESS GOVERNMENT, then they will undo a LOT of what Bush and Obama did to KILL OUR CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHTS!
What Americans don’t know is that there are already tons of laws on the books THAT WE JUST NEED TO ENFORCE without having a Patriot Act. On this, I agree with Ron Paul! But, it may be 1 of only a few things I agree with him on.
I sure hope R & R backpedal and undo all this TYRANNY-TYPE mandates against good Americans!

He fails to remember that it was Clinton who literally ordered banks, and other lenders to make mortgage loans to those who would not be able to pay it back. The subprimes, if you recall got their starts back in the ’90s, well before Bush assumed office. Furthermore, how many of those booming Dot.coms of the earlier ‘90s started to go bust around ’99 to 2000? Loads of them, think back to how many you can recall from back then that are no longer with us today. Actually, the nation’s economy was in a decline before Clinton turned over the keys to the White House to Bush. Yep, JZS just want to harp on the same line the media lambasted Bush with, that he took a nation that had a surplus and destroyed it. The economy is a bit more complicated than your simple platitude JZS. And, if I recall correctly, and I am pretty sure that I do, it all really started to go into the tank shortly after the Dems took control of the Congress in Jan, ‘07. That is when the Congressional attacks on Big Oil, Big Banking, Big Business, Big Auto, etc really took off.
BTW JZS, when the nations lenders are ordered to make a massive number of loans that can’t be paid, just how long do you think the economy can handle it? But, I’m sure will just continue to blame Bush for the real estate collapse.
