Funny Vid: D.C. Occupiers Want to Banish Monetary System…But Still ‘Buy’ Big Screen TVs

On Tuesday, The Blaze went down to interview some of those taking part in the D.C. May Day protests. There, we found these two, who want to banish the monetary system and capitalism, but still enjoy purchasing big ticket items, such as big screen TV’s. Watch them try to explain how to do both:

I have seen many young persons that are smarter ,doing the right thing, and will overcome the few the likes of ayers and dorin obama jarret,jones . The hippies of old faded away even if some of the radicals of the 60s are still pounding their drums they will fade also. In the meantime keep the faith and VOTEl. If we do then I don’t think we will need to exercise our 2nd adm. right on them.

Had a job interview and went to bed early last night. I read your last posts. Jzs counts his hits be doing a Ctrl+F and typing in “jzs” I think and then manually counts how many “jzs’s” are listed on that page; really a self-centered sickness of sorts.

Look at groups like the athiests and pro gay marriage groups. They have been able to push their agendas and pass laws that the majority of people did not want. Also look at what congress did when it passed out the bail outs and healthcare bills that a majority of the country opposed. We should not sit back at all, but we should show our force. The Tea Party needs to make our presence known again this summer and fall.

So like, then, since we have no monetary system, I “pay” you by giving you this reputation. And that‘s how you’re able to get stuff because you have a bunch good notes, like reviews on Amazon, you know. In fact, it’ll probably work better if the government, since they know best, is the one that prints out these reputation notes. We can call them “repunotes” or “reps” for short. So since you don’t want to go around carrying all these notes, they can give you like 5‘s and 10’s and stuff. You can even have places that, like, keep these for you. They sound like they are for a bartering system, but if they understood the history of economics they would realize that bartering doesn‘t work or at least doesn’t last very long. One guy thinks that a TV should be worth a stool. The guy that is building the TV though maybe thinks that his tv is worth 6 stools or maybe he doesn’t have any use for a stool at all. Then what? The guy with the stool cracks it over the guy’s head, takes his TV and we’re back to square one. Did it work for the Hopi? Probably. Many native american tribes had no concept of ownership, that is why it was easy to take their land in trade deals because they didn’t understand what was going on. But the native american tribes were much smaller communities too. A couple of thousand in one tribe in one small area vs 300 million people in a giant country. The man in the video said that you get people together to make the same product. That’s how you stifle creativity. If these kids think that they would still have their ipads and iphones after a monetary collapse, they are really stupid. Services would be cut back because there would be nobody to run those businesses. People would be out to find food and shelter and internet and cell phone services would be the last thing on everybody’s mind. But they’re too stupid to think about the consequences and aftermath of what they are asking for…
