Gallup: Never in Obama’s Presidency Has Majority Believed Economy Improving

Never once in Barack Obama‘s 29 months of presidency have a majority of Americans believed the nation’s economy is getting better. That’s the latest according to one Gallup poll. Of all the months, no more than 41 percent of Americans ever believed the economy was getting better — and the last time that was, was in February. By June only a scant 34 percent believed the economy was on the mend.
CNSNews.com reports:
In the most recent three day-period reported by Gallup—July 1-July 3—only 31 percent of Americans said they believed the economy was getting better. Meanwhile, 63 percent said they believed it was getting worse.
Each day, Gallup asks approximately 500 American adults a simple question: Do they think that economic conditions in the country as a whole are getting better or getting worse? Gallup then regularly publishes the most recent three-day average percentage for each answer, while periodically publishing the monthly averages.
With the economy being the number one issue among voters — and the chance it might not improve in any significant way as we approach 2012 — Obama certainly has his work cut out for him.

Posted on July 6, 2011 at 11:04amOur government and the poll takers just don’t get it. It is very simple. Here’s the secret… We vote with our money. If you are out to take our freedom and regulate us into a hole then we will destroy you by not supporting the economy you want to build because even though we get to go to the polls every so often, we can choose to not spend the fruit of our labor day after day and year after year. You can’t make us buy anything. We already know that if the federal government fails then freedom reigns. And you can’t put a price on freedom. If this government defaults, it’s not the end of America. It’s a new beginning for Liberty and prosperity.

Posted on July 6, 2011 at 10:05amIt’s simple. Get rid of obama & all his czars, his apointments to office and his policies, then we will have a recovery. Untill then, we suffer through as best we can.

Posted on July 6, 2011 at 9:52amThe potus is a symptom of a larger problem. The government needs to spend money to keep all those government jobs-the more money, more jobs and more pay for those running the departments(peter principal)( you rise to the level of your incompitence). This will not stop until enough of the “right” people get elected and force a reduction( and that will be nearly impossible). The only way is to take enough money away from them, they will be forced to reduce(that won’t happen either). So prepare for the country to got into debt shock(like Greece).

Posted on July 6, 2011 at 9:08amObama is the leader of class warfare. Instead of creating wealth, he is determined to redistribute it. It is insanity to take from those who produce and transfer to those who don’t. It hasn’t worked in history and shows no signs of working now. Never think Obama will go easily. His disregard for the law is compounded by the impotence of the republican establishment. This could really get ugly with history changing possibilities.

Posted on July 6, 2011 at 8:16amWe have now seen Socialism and Keynes-type monetary policy for what it is–a total failure. How many more examples of failed social policies do we need before it is blatently obvious the only system that produces wealth and freedom and liberty and prosperity is the free market without government intervention.
Throw these bums out and let the American people run the economy as they have been able to since the founding.

Posted on July 6, 2011 at 8:04amThe poll would reveal maybe .03% assuming the national news media reported as it should. I’ve tried to imagine if this were Bush in the White House in charge of this dreaded economy with a Republican controlled senate and without a doubt the uproar emanating from the NYT, CNN, MSMBC, etc. would be without question very loud and boisterous. What is the saddest of all is how politics are exchanged for prosperity. It should not matter who resides in the White House, if a sitting President works against the country and it’s people everyone should rail against …

Posted on July 6, 2011 at 4:39amLoved that speech by Reagan. Only this time we have 24 years of a progressive virus that needs to be eliminated. It is almost too much for one man or woman to do. There are so many areas that have to be fixed in order for this country to become an economic powerhouse again. Problem is where do you start. Yeah I know first step is getting Obummer out.

Posted on July 6, 2011 at 2:40amBECAUSE AS ALL OF THE GOP CANDIDATES ARE SAYING, OBAMA HAS FAILED AND HE HAS DRIVEN IT DEEPER…
Funny how the left tries to talk there people into believing otherwise, yesterday a few dozen viewers watched Keith Olbermann, you know the guy who use to be on MSNBC, tried to call Romney gaffe proned because he said that Obama made the Economy worse. This is true even though his liberal co-host believes it has been debunked: http://tiny.cc/tfsj7
