Gas Pipeline from Egypt to Israel Bombed

Egyptian security officials have indicated that a gas pipeline traveling from Egypt to Israel and Jordan has exploded, and that saboteurs may be to blame. From Al ARABIYA NEWS:
“An Egyptian gas pipeline in the Sinai Peninsula was bombed early on Monday for the third time since February, sending flames into the sky. There was no immediate reports of casualties, a security official said.
Egypt had resumed pumping natural gas to Israel on June 10 after supplies were halted in April following an attack on a pipeline, Israeli media reports said.
Israel gets up to 45 percent of its gas from Egypt. Supplies were stopped after the blasts on Egypt’s side of the pipeline in the wake of political turmoil following the ousting of Egyptian president Hosmi Mubarak”
Reuters has reported that a security source said that men with machine guns in a small truck forced guards at the station to leave, then planted explosive charges.

Yeah, it led to some boring flame wars only tangentially related to the main topic, and a lot of people would try to find someone to reply to instead of just saying what they had to say because they wanted to get on the first page where they’d be more widely read. But I like to be able to see if anybody has responded to what I wrote, and when somebody writes something that is just plain wrong or doesn’t make sense it seems to me that the counterargument should be presented where it is most likely to be read by everyone who sees the initial comment. For example, I would love to be able to tell the genius who wrote:
We can send them plenty of liquefied NG. We have vast amounts of it. Someone should tell that idiot Obama about it.
That you can’t send LNG to Israel, because they don’t have a regasification terminal. I’m sure President Obama already knows that, but Nigel2 may still be unaware of this salient fact, since he’s back on page 1 and I’m here on 3.

Watch for the other hand waiting in the dark, I figure a 70% chance of a major terror attack on Israel in just a week or so; too many things – the Greeks stopping the flotilla, and Turkey turning on Assad in the nation of Syria – are going against the extremists for the moment, so they need to find another excuse to keep the heat up on Israel in the world.

The reason that we are in trouble is that all the people that we sent to Washington that supposedly works for us are not working for us, they are gutless, they’re not standing up for us and using the congressional powers they have to in fact protect us.
Our borders are being overrun by people who are our enemies, because they hate us and our way of life, and if we don’t have representation to protect us, people in Washington who will execute our rights as citizens as the Constitution was designed to do then we have a Dictatorship in the making.
