As a current college student, and firm challenger of all things liberal, I have to say it appears to me that anti-semitism is growing strength because the supposed declarers of all things racist and bigoted themselves are at least borderline anti-semitic. Since these reality-rejects have established themselves as the experts and so effectively discredited anyone else’s opinion on the matter, when anti-semitism rears its ugly head they are silent or, hell, probably agree and expand on it. So an impressionable youth hears it, and instead of realizing it’s just ignorant hypocrisy, they think it must be a legitimate fact. The good news is that hypocrisy is a poor foundation for a personal philosophy, so it‘s actually easy to flip ’em back to the truth…the innocent youth, that is. The professor or faux-authority, however, was lost before they were born.

Regarding the natives of North America, had we the American’s not won our war for independence make no mistake the natives STILL would have been removed and probably in a much worse fashion. I am tired of lazy minded people trying to cut down American’s as those always seeking an empire when the truth is we just wanted to be free…all of us.

If you think I am wrong, ask a person from India about how their lives changed under British rule and why they also sought independence. The moment having interests in America became fashionable for those in Europe was the beginning of the end for Native Americans…it had very little to do with immigrants just wanting an opportunity to feed their family on their own terms.

Actually if you look into history Indians have killed more of their own people or lead troops to enemies IE Crow scouts leading Custer to the little big horn which is now Crow res, and was stolen by the Sioux in 1700, so not Sioux ancestors land at Mt Rushmore.. hunter gathers don’t keep very good records so they only go back a few decades, through story telling. Just an example of the truth that can’t be handles, Look it up! What is funny is what was pointed out on Fox that Indians who live off the Gov are living in shacks and drunk, but ones who choose to go out and be Americans are doing well. A very good point. Criticizing Israel or even being completely anti-Israel does not make one anti-Semitic. Just like being anti-Obama doesn’t make one a racist against blacks. The “conservative” talking heads have adopted this “with us or against us” mentally regarding Israel. What’s that line from Star Wars, “only siths deal in absolutes.”

And how is this any different than the liberal tactic of calling people “racists.” I’m smelling a hypocrite.

I support an Israeli state, but I also recognize the mistakes they have and continue to make. I’ve actually been to Israel, the West Bank, as well as every single country that borders Israel. The Palestinians and neighboring states have very, very legitimate grievances. And their issues have little-to-nothing to do with anti-Semitism. Who is it that has failed to live to the Oslo accords? Primarily the Israelis.

Yes, anti-Semitism has risen, and many Muslims in that part of the world harbor such feelings, but it is not because they have an inherent savage and senseless hatred for Jews, it’s because they hate the actions of the State of Israel, and it’s automatic guilt by association. Ever heard of a WW2 vet that hates the Japanese? Or even asians as a race? Do Americans or Christians naturally hate Asians? No.

Bioengineer, it is anti-Semitic to disagree with Israel’s existence. The reason is, people who hold that view do not disagree with the existence of 56 officially Muslim countries. They don’t dispute Saudi Arabia, which will never be tainted by a church or synagogue, and which will never allow a non-Muslim to set foot in Mecca (compare and contrast to Jerusalem, Judaism’s holiest city, open to all religions). Israel is about one-thousandth the land mass of Arab holdings. With all the energy the Israel haters devote to their “cause,” you’d think Israel was ancient Rome. It’s the size of frickin New Jersey! So, yeah, if you dispute the existence of the one tiny Jewish country in the world, there’s something else going on behind your curtain.

By all means can you find a passage in the new testament or the T’orah that tells beleivers to kill all muslims before “the time will come”? Do you really believe Egyptians didn’t know what they were doing when they gave the Muslim Brotherhood and the Salafists majorities in the latest elections there thus giving Islamists the majority? I’ll tell you when “anit-zionism” and anti-semitism are the same BIOENGINEER..when the left wants to hide it’s anti-semitism and not risk public outcry against it. We saw lots of it during OWS when dumb lefties equated being jewish with being rich. Ok, let’s examine this. 1) Name for me a single Christian state. Is there even one? Perhaps the Vatican? What about Mormon countries? Do Mormons get a country, what about them? By your logic don’t all religions deserve their own individual country? Well, if Jews do, why not? 2) There are not 56 “officially Muslim countries”. You are just wrong. Not even close. There are 48 muslim-majority countries, which is much different, among those I think it’s about 6 that are considered “islamic” states, such as Iran & Saudi Arabia. Maybe another dozen that recognize Islam in other capacities. 3) Nearly all muslim-majority countries are monarchies or some other dictatorship. They are not free places for other muslims to patriate. Palestinians cannot simply go to Saudi Arabia and enjoy free rights there. They are not welcome. So where are they supposed to go?

Your position is just ignorant of reality. Beyond that, incredibly biggoted.

Have you actually read the Quran? I have, and in Arabic. You obviously haven‘t because you can’t even get a single verse in its proper context. Let’s look at that verse you partially quoted from the Hamas chapter that comes from the Quran.

“And kill them wherever you find them, and drive them out from whence they drove you out, and persecution is severer than slaughter, and do not fight with them at the Sacred Mosque until they fight with you in it, but if they do fight you, then slay them; such is the recompense of the unbelievers.”

See the conditionals in the full verse…“drive them out from whence they drove you out” and “do not fight with them… until they fight with you…. if they do fight you, then slay them.”

And that Hamas would choose to use that verse makes perfect sense considering the history of the State of Israel and the historical context in which the verse itself was written. Muhammed came of age in a day when religious persecution was widespread and people of faith were routinely murdered and made war against.

Now understand, I’m not advocating Islam in any way or trying to make it sound good. I’m simply pointing out how, again, the anti-Semitism harbored in the ME is simply an effect, a recent effect, the cause being the State of Israel. Islam does not harbor an innate hatred for jews. No more than American Christians in the 1950s harboring an innate hatred for the Japanese.

You want to compare with the Bible? Ok, let’s compare with the Bible.

How about Deuteronomy 17? Or Numbers 25:3-4, 1 Chronicles 20:3, Judges 8:7-10, Numbers 16:32-35, Deuteronomy 13:5-15, 1 Samuel 15:2-3, Numbers 31:16-18, Judges 4:21, Leviticus 20, along with countless others.

By actively taking steps to prevent any and all speakers who may disagree with the hard right-wing policies of the Likud led coalition that promotes censorship of any message contrary to what Netanyahu assures us that we must back,they have crossed the line.

I’ll give you guys another nugget to ponder. All the right wing pundits are chomping at the bit to get us into another war with Ira– John Bolton, Charles Krauthammer, Bill Kristol, Michelle Malkin, and even a man who should know better John McCain eagerly seek to plunge us into another war.

For your information, it is more often the anti-Israel crowd that tries to suppress what the other side is saying. Just a few months ago, an Israeli official speaking at a college campus was repeatedly interrupted to the point where he couldn’t continue speaking until the protesters were forcibly removed. At my own University, an anti-Israel group once started charging $5 admittance to an event that was advertised as free once they saw the number of pro-Israel people showed up. Unlike them, we were only planning a walk-out.

Tolerance is not in their vocabulary. The best example is Iraq, where they can not even tolerate Shia Muslims and Sunni Muslims living on the same block and feel they must kill the other sect for daring to live so close to them. How could you possibly expect them to accept people of a different religion living near them? There is no possibility of reasoning with radical sects. It is now evident why Sadam had to rule with such an iron fist in order to keep them from killing each other.

Israel is working feverishly to outlaw all of the organizations helping Palestinians and with the backing of right wing congressmen like Peter King they will be sucessful.

You must be talking about the Arabs who want to push the Jews into the sea. Mosh I was challenged to back up a statement that I made a few weeks ago. I said that I could provide 50 reasons that what Israel is perpetrating on the Palestinians is Apartheid. I stand by that statement. Unfortunately advocating any position considered not favorable to the Zionist cause is subject to removal from being posted on this site.

When I made that statement I had just finished watching the Russell Tribunal on Palestine and wholeheartedly agreed with their conclusion that yes Virginia- there is Apartheid in Israel proper and the occupied territories.

No serious person who has studied the problem speaks of the Arabs of Palestine as “Palestinians.” There is no apartheid. In fact, Arabs have more rights living in Israel than they do on other Arab countries. So you have your facts backwards. The reason why the Arabs left Israel and the reason that Israel took the Gaza strip is because the neighboring Arab countries have been attacking it without provocation but if course you wouldn’t know anything about that would you?

Hillary blasted Israel for allowing a policy of segregation to be allowed on Egged busses in Jerusalem. Women must go to the back of the bus. If there can be a more clearcut example of right wing Jewish organizations being guilty of hypocrasy it is the ongoing campaign to silence Norman Finkelstein. He is, along with Noam Chomsky, my personal hero.

They are freaking out at the refusal of University officials at Northeast University to ban his lecture.

Jews are the smartest and most successful immigrant group in America and will not be deceived by the deceivers like Horowitz. What are they so afraid of allowing students to hear what he says? In one simple word…the TRUTH. They are afraid of the truth. Ron Paul says the truth too.

Hillary and Leon Panetta stood firm in their condemnation of Israel’s policies and it is about time we debate the Israeli policies that put the US at risk in moving forward in the next 20 years.

Leon Panetta JOYCE D? Apparently Israel is “partly” to blame? Not only is Israel “partly” to blame for the attacks on its legitimacy, but it should “get to the d@mn table” according to Panetta? A table at which the other side remains intractably absent due to unacceptable preconditions. A situation not helped by Obama himself with his anti-Israel rants about borders and settlements.
And if the other side were to come to that table, who would they be? Islamic Arabs whose faith and political charters require the destruction of Israel and, for that matter, Jews in general?

The nudging has been going on for quite a while. I think it took the extreme nature of Obama for conservatives to wake up and start speaking up but on college campuses the conservatives are still in the closet. This is a small but much needed step. It takes some courage to go against the majority on college campuses, and even those with courage back down because it is also work to know how to back yourself up verbally by knowing all the facts. Obama will run a dirty campaign with lies and that mind nudging will work with alot of people, unfortunately. Obama lies and spins constantly but people hear the soundbite and believe~just like the young kids on campus who have been taught by the liberal professors and teachers they had growing up. The wakeup call has started but waking up a nation is not an easy thing.

Could not agree more. When we fought off the Barbary Pirates in the 1800′s, we won because it was made known that our military dipped their bullets and bayonets in pig blood/guts. They use our weaknesses against us, i.e., our freedoms, so we should use theirs!

Imagine stopping Islamic terrorism through the use of bullets dipped in pigs blood. I don’t suppose that would be breaking any Geneva Convention Laws of War. Hell the Taliban and the Muj don’t follow the Geneva Convention anyway. I guess you could coat the non-tracer rounds in a belt. That way at night they would know that ones the are not lighting up as they are coming at them are the “Hell Bringers”.

They hate Christians too. It’s just easier to hate Jews because there are fewer of them on campus. They hate God because He causes them to feel shame (it’s built into us because we are made in His image) and they can’t stand how they feel about their lives. That’s because liberals, in order to feel that what they are doing is just, must believe in certain falsities. Among these is the idea that pure evil, where people just want to kill and destroy that which never harmed them simply because those people are different, doesn’t truly exist. For them, evil is when someone acts in their own interest at the detriment of others. They see Israel as being at fault because if the Palestinians were unprovoked they would have to acknowledge true evil as actually existing. When that happens, they would be the ones at fault.
