GBTV Video: Is Obama the Most ‘Anti-Israel’ President in History?

Monday evening, the Glenn Beck Program brought you a thought-provoking video positing why President Barack Obama is the most anti-Israel president in the country’s history. Opening with footage from three unprovoked wars of aggression waged against Israel by its Arab neighbors — the 1948 Arab-Israeli war, commonly known as Israel’s War of Independence, the 1967 Six Day War, and the Yom Kippur War of 1973 – the narrator notes Israel’s enemies — from Turkey to Egypt and Gaza to Iran — are on the rise.
Reminding us that Israel is surrounded by hostile regimes with at least 50,000 rockets at their disposal, the mini documentary also shows how young children, indoctrinated by radical mullahs, are bred to hate, often chanting verses from the Quran that specifically instruct Muslims to “kill the Jews wherever they may hide” — even “behind the stone or tree.”
It is “now more than ever,” the narrator states, that Israel needs its ally. Every American president since Israel’s creation has reaffirmed the special relationship shared by the two countries until the election of President Barack Obama, who, according to the video, has distinguished his hatred for Israel through his own words and deeds.
From publicly castigating Israel over building settlement communities in Jerusalem — Israel’s religious and historic homeland – to publicly telling Israel it must “return” to its indefensible “1967 borders” — which are not borders at all but rather 1949 armistice lines – no president, says the narrator, has ever been more hostile to the Jewish state. The video also reminds the viewer how Obama pressured Israel to apologize to Turkey over the first flotilla incident and later refused to aid opposition forces in Iran and Syria while helping hard-line Islamist dissidents in Libya and Egypt, giving rise to the Israel-hostile Muslim Brotherhood.
It should also be noted that the Muslim Brotherhood’s spiritual leader, who has lead prayers for millions of worshippers in Egypt, has called on the Brotherhood and its followers to “finish” what Hitler started.
In addition, since the fall of Muammar Gadhafi, Libya is missing 20,000 surface to air missiles, many of which have turned up in the Sinai.
Obama’s actions, according to the video, are “reminiscent” of Jimmy Carter’s role in forcing the Shah of Iran to step down. What ensued then was nothing short of tragic, as a cultured, educated society reverted to the Stone Age.
This series of events could have been prevented, suggests the video, if Obama had taken a stand in defense of America’s stalwart ally, Israel. Instead, Hamas is now emboldened, and has resumed its rocket-fire into Israel. To make matters worse, Obama, in the largest weapons sale in U.S. history, sold tanks to Egypt and outfitted Saudi Arabia with fighter jets and attack helicopters.
All the while, Iran races toward the development of nuclear weapons with the clear and stated goal of “wiping Israel off the map,” unimpeded by the White House.

Why on earth would you connect Ron Paul with not supporting Israel…?
If Israel allows itself to become dependent upon the U.S., it must be dependent when there is both a President that supports and despises Israel. The problem is, while it may be nice when there’s a supportive President, it also means they must bow to any whim a president like Obama has.
Should we remove all foreign aid from the entire world, because most of it goes to areas that are hostile to Israel, we would actually be doing Israel a favor. Both in not aiding its enemies, and helping Israel become more independent; and, therefore, more able to defend itself in whichever way it deems necessary, rather than Barrack Obama or the U.N.
Ron Paul may not outwardly be as pro Israel as many of you like, but his policies are, in fact, better for Israel than any other candidate. He is just not kissing up to you or them, nor should a President ever do so.

PS: We have long term, really long term DoD relationship with Israel. Their FMS sales to the us keep hundreds of thousands of US citizen in Jobs…Team O, trying to throw the baby out with the bath water? And we’ve been selling war machines with built in obsolescence (on purpose) to Arab nations that misuses the equipment…when will we ever learn? I hope they put in disabling chips into the stuff sold to Saudi. No telling what we sold to Turkey.
But I do know that Israel will use the equipment we sold to them in a reasonable and responsible way.

I keep waiting for someone to actually disprove anything that he has stated but they can not because Glenn does not lie and has the facts to back him up. This is what drives them crazy, and I love it. What I think is odd that no conservatives,with the exception of O’Reilly, ( And yes I believe Bill is )acknowledges Glenn in any way. They use the information that he digs up but they never mention his name.

Bush Sr., Bush Jr., and Clinton have all called for an end to settlement-building, not just Obama. The Shah of Iran didn’t lead an “enlightened” reign; it was full of torture, secret police, extrajudicial killings, and even rape rooms – his cruelty was one of the reasons people despised him. Obama’s arms sale to Saudi Arabia has good precedent; we’ve sold arms to Iraq, Iran, and certainly to the Saudis many, many times (Bush Sr. had it at 20 billion). Obama isn’t a good president, but saying he’s the most anti-Israel president in history is nonsense.
Point is, Glenn gets things wrong many a time, especially when it comes to Mideast history. As he himself would say, “don’t rely on me…check the facts for yourself.”
