GBTV’s Massive Voter Registration Drive Already Wildly Popular — See How (Updated Figures)

Editor’s note: see the update figures at the end of the story.

On Tuesday evening, Glenn Beck delivered some very sobering voter registration statistics. Did you know that  33 million — or, 14% of Americans of voting age — believe they are registered to vote but are not? As part of phase two of his new four-part plan to take back America, Glenn Beck and GBTV launched a massive voter registration drive Tuesday evening — and the results are already significant.

To refresh, Beck instructed viewers to a useful tool on the WallBuilders website, which allows users to verify whether they are in fact registered to vote.

Shortly after Beck’s broadcast Tuesday evening, more than 35,000 people had already used the voter registration tool and during the program, the number of searches on the WallBuilders site were being conducted at the rate of 50 per second. Numbers like these provide substantial evidence of how powerful a reach one can have in getting out the vote. And that is what Beck hopes to achieve: turn the 2012 election into a clear mandate, both to Washington, and to progressives.

Ironically, it was brought to The Blaze’s attention that someone had conducted a search on the WallBuilders voter registration tool to verify left-wing “sugar-daddy” George Soros’ status. It appears the progressive billionaire may be registered to vote twice. Whether the findings reveal a simple discrepancy, the existence of two distinct people who share the same name, or point to a more sinister “ACORN-style” voter registration tactic, remains to be seen. Interestingly, the George Soros does in fact appear to reside in Katonah, New York.

Early Results of Glenn Beck and GBTVs Massive Voter Registration Drive

Wednesday evening at 5:00 p.m. ET, Beck will launch phase three of his new initiative focused on “living it.” Be sure to watch it on GBTV.

UPDATE:

The latest figures show:

- Almost 110,000 searches
- Over 1000 new registrations
- 2,000 pledges to sign up a friend

Beck encouraged his audience on Wednesday to spread the word about the tool, especially using social media. You can do that by “liking” or “tweeting” this story or our original.

? to Blazers… I used it and it shows me registered in EVERY place I’ve lived. I would assume that means my name shows up in that polling place. When you move and register elsewhere I thought it took your name off the previous. That is not the case? Should I be calling and having my name removed?

you are not supposed to re-register. You are supposed to use the change of address box on the form, not the new registration box! otherwise you do duplicate your records!

You should have a new voter’s registration card with your new address. This is what they go by. They keep all your previous addresses in order to track where you use to vote. You shouldn’t have anything to worry about.

In fact, on the back of your registration card, IS the change of address form. you are supposed to fill it out, mail it in, and receive a new card. if you mucked it up…you need to contact the board of elections in your state/states and clear that mess up! they could be casting ballots in your name!

The tool is useless for “verifying” identities. This wall builder tool does not request Private Identifiable Information so it has no way of knowing (which one of many) who we actually are. Apparently I am registered 7 different places in Tennessee!

It’s just that I have a very common name I guess. Maybe there is more than one George Soros – maybe they have different middle names. Veeeeeeeeeery Spooky, dude!

unfortunately many poll workers don’t or do know that the appropriate protocol is to fill out a change of address card. I’ve seen one too many times voters encouraged re register at the polls and at registration drives, I’ve even seen it at state offices. Nobody to tell, I’ve called, they don’t care. Don’t worry someone else will vote using your name. NY is infamous for it.

I don‘t like that I’m listed twice on Wall Builders but on the one Bub47 posted (http://www.canivote.org/) I’m only listed once. Of course, the latter requires more information so you’re bound to get an exact match. But what does this mean? Does this mean some cat in my same city, state, and zip is running around with my same first and last name? I didn’t think my name was that common especially for a city of about 35K people.

It is not an indictment of Soros himself, It is a problem with NY voter list. Potential corruption.

If you look up Donald Trump or Rudi Giuliani you get duplicate registration.

Alexander Soros is George soros son, he is also registered twice and it matches Soros locations, so it is a dup of 1 person. there is only 1 George Soros.

it is a problem with NY voter list allowing multiple registration for a single individual..

It does not necessarily mean there is a problem. George Soros, Donald Trump etc more than like have mulitple homes. They can be registered to vote at each resident, thus if they are at a summer home they both can vote in local elections in that area. I am sure you will see Donald Trump also registered to vote in Florida. The issue I see is states not cross referencing voters during Presidential elections. What stops, other than conscience, from voting one in Florida and then going to NY and voting? This is an example and is in no way saying Trump is voting twice, so keep your panties free and loose.

This battle is not over, just because the media says so. The people that just watch TV then go vote and just return home will have a shock come August. The convention will be in disarray and the GOP will be hurt deeply by what is about to take place, and they will have nobody to blame but themselves. Sure, they will try to put it on Paul supporters and Paul himself, but that tactic will not work. We have the law on our side. By the end of this, I can see many top RNC and establishment state GOP members being charged with federal crimes. This is my prediction and I am standing by it. Here is a list of what the RNC and GOP have been doing that is being called one the most systematic, widespread egregious cases of deprivation of civil voting rights and election fraud committed in American history: http://www.toolsforjustice.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/05/Reports-of-Civil-Rights-Violations-in-Various-States.pdf

The lawsuit is being drafted as we speak and this suit is going to be the catalyst for unbinding the delegates in Tampa. I believe there will be over 1144 Paul supporters there as delegates. Keep your spirits up, it is not over yet.

I agree with DSM, I put my name, state, zip code and it said I was not registered. I have my voter registration card in my hand showing I‘m registered and I checked my state database showing I’m registered. Also checked my wife and son and it showed the same thing. Somehow there’s a glitch in the program.

How could you have entered your ID? There isn’t even an option for voter ID.

IMHO it’s far to easy to vote.
Voting is a citizens birthright, but should also require rules that prevent fraud at the polls.
Voter registration should be required and closed at least a week before voting. If a citizen can not understand the law, they shouldn’t be voting anyway. If they can’t read the ballots, do we really want them voting? Life does have some requirements.

Why do we want anyone to show up at a polling place on vote day and cast a ballot, to be allowed to register and cast a ballot? What they had no idea they had to register first?

Today our Dept of Justice are demanding that the state of FL stop removing voters from their rolls that have no business being registered. We don’t want to embarrass them?
Illegals are illegal because they are NOT citizens and it doesn’t matter when they stole into our country, they are still illegal.
Our dear leader, has a couple of illegal members of his family, living here illegally, and drawing welfare, and does anyone want to bet if these two vote? They have proven to be exempt from our laws already.

Making vote registration a process that requires a voter to follow a law, isn’t racist, unless only one race benefits! Every citizen that wants to vote must comply with the law and prove they are a citizen and reside in that district. It’s time to stop treating voter fraud like we treat drunk driving.

The site shows me registered twice as well. This is because my precinct number changed. It doesn’t mean I get to vote twice.

And there are some, like my brother, who simply do not care to vote. Just keep them pacified and all is well. I guess he is an ideal citizen for a nanny state.

I found myself still registered in my old hometown as well as my new city. My grandma who passed away 10 years ago is still registered. Time to make some phone calls or some visits.

I am in this database twice too. I assume one is for my old address and one for my new. I only receive a voter card at my new address (And I know because my old address was my parents). Most people that I have looked up are in here twice and it look like it is do to an address change. I’m not sure that this really means you could actually vote in both locations or not. It would be worth looking into to make sure that cannot be done. If it could be done and those less than honest could certainly take advantage of that situation. Or, maybe they already do!

      @SISSYGIRL

YES, honest people would only vote once, but those who wish to subvert the democratic process can exploit this by voting multiple times or even sending another person to vote under their name, NO ID NEEDED..

Unless they have a system to match duplicates after the vote and that is doubtful.

no wonder Obama and Holder are stopping the cleansing of Voter registration, the Dems know how to subvert it..

There are more of us who still love this country and cannot be bought.

Some can buy anything in the world with money, but they just can’t buy us all !

    This is a good sign.

I will check back in a month. Last week, I found out I wasn’t registered even though I sent in my form twice in paper and once electronically. This time, I hand delivered it to the office of registars. If I don’t get my card within 3 weeks, I’ll return and complain.

Thanks Outlaw! If I were a little closer south to the bend in the road were you farm, I would take you up on that, and probably pay you back with homemade zucchini bread or maybe a quart mason of my Sunday sauce. Years ago I learned a trick – If you plant your pumpkins and squash in the shade of a tree, the vines grow out to meet the light and get thicker, giving you a healthier yield for each vine.
