Gene Simmons Openly Regrets Voting for ‘Unqualified’ Obama

At least rocker Gene Simmons is honest.

Appearing on CNN’s “Parker/Spitzer” last week, the KISS front man admitted that he voted for Barack Obama because the young senator was a “moment in history,” and he wanted to show the world how far the United States had come from its slavery past. But now Simmons says he realizes how “unqualified” Obama is for the job:

He told us what he was going to do! He made no secret that he is a Communist. His ideology and associates more than prove that. His own writings prove it,ie seeking out Marxist students and professors in college. How much more evidence do you need?
If you didn’t hear him say that the redistribution of wealth is ok or that he planned to fundamentally transform America then you must have been in a drug induced stupor. I hear this a lot, people regretting their vote. Is it that Obama isn‘t instituting his agenda fast enough or you just didn’t pay attention enough to hear what he had in mind for us? Either way that makes you an idiot.Oh yeah, it would be nice to vote for a black president to show how you aren’t a racist. The problem is what he stands for not his skin color. Now look at the mess we have on our hands.

Gene Simmons should have known better. He’s a major capitalist. He knows how to make money, spend it wisely and make even more money. He also supports our troops, took his intelligent daughter to a VA hospital and did some kind of benefit concert for our brave men & women. I just wished he would have taken everything into consideration before voting for Obama. Because by no means is Gene Simmons a ding-a-ling Hollyweirdo type and knows what it took for his mother to bring him to the United States to live the American Dream.

TOTALLY agree, Gene’s mother survived the holocaust and he is utterly capitalistic! He has a very clear idea of what America is and what it takes to make this work.

He’s also quite intelligent. When you think about what he setup, other than the style which has some elements which are disquieting (but, really none of my damn business either…), it’s a SMART setup. If his “business” needs a new employee because one of the employees goes off the rails, NP…. find a replacement, put the same make-up on the new one, it’s all the same to the customer.

For a long time, he had a degree of anonymity which most of them loose. They can’t just walk around in public without getting mobbed. What are the associated security costs of loosing ones anonymity? The mystery itself drove the business to a large extent.

He was VERY smart to Trademark that band at that time in history. Not many of the OTHERs did that, they let the distribution company do that and lost millions, NOT Gene!

He’s really quite clever and smart, and he does his homework.

In the end, I think he wants what we want, LIBERTY!

What I think he likely failed to notice, is that the DEMS don’t really want that, they just pay lip-service to the notion and the stylistic elements of Liberty, not it’s substance.

All you ever say about hollywood and celebrities are that they are worthless and should keep their opinions to themselves. But the second that the smallest piece of a celebrity agrees with your point of view you immediately bring them into the fold and promote them to the head of the pack. Stephen Baldwin is making a career from being a Christian, and he is the worst actor ever. But now that he is conservative he has his own radio show and is getting parts in Christian backed movies. Here is where I draw the line: The media should not treat celebrities as political pundits, and celebrities should not use award ceremonies to deliver their political harangues. Atheist.. Hey I happen to like Baldwin and Miller.. they are better than Mahar and the fat guy on MSNBC.. well I like Miller on television and in movies better than I like his radio show..
besides NOT ALL conservatives are star struck.. it takes a whole lot more to impress me than being on television or in the movies.. however.. when it comes to Obama good old Gene should have done some checking.. he was MY senator.. I watched him do NOTHING.. for the 2 years he was in Washington BEFORE hitting the campaign trail.. I KNOW many here in IL that voted for him.. why?? because they said NO candidate has ever NOT carried their home state so voting for someone else means their votes wouldn’t count.. so while Gene proves that most voters are inept.. so does the logic of the people of IL.. Personally I voted for the CONSTITUTIONAL party.. didn’t like McCAIN the RINO either..I feel my vote counted more than those who voted for Obama only I didn’t win.. IT‘S all about being perceived as a winner even if it’s just a vote..

Love gene Simmons and love Kiss. Too bad he had to vote with elotion rather than brains. Give him credit for admitting his mistake instad of riding the Obama sinking ship all the way down.

WHEN GERMAN JEWS VOTED FOR HITLER TO BECOME CHANCELLOR OF GERMANY, THE WISHED THEY COULD TAKE THEIR VOT BACK TOO.

Evil can never be voted out of office and never compromises or surrenders. The Obama regime will have to be removed the same way Sadamm Hussain was removed and that is by force.

Hi fellow Blaze followers! Gene wants to hear from you! He must, because he won’t respond to me! Why don’t you all drop him a friendly email using “CNN’s “Parker/Spitzer” as a SUBJECT. Send it to:

      letters@genesimmons.com

He will see it, or at least hear about it!!!

What would really help Dr Love set the record straight is to start a campaign telling other’s in his “world” what a terrible mistake they all made. Maybe just maybe some others will also have the nerve to GO public with him as I‘m sure a lot of them in their hearts know they screwed up but don’t want to come out for fear of the circle of friends………….. What you Doc………….. VICTORY OR DEATH

      To Max Jones
      Sorry,
      I don’t buy that.
The enemy of my enemy is still my enemy!
Gene is not my enemy, he is just another dipstick.
I know so many people who voted for the “O”, all of them are sorry now!
They all voted for the good looking, sauve, well spoken black man!

None of them would even listen to his background, or what he said in the past!
Now that he is destroying our country they are sorry!

I know a lot of people that voted for a moment in history. They don’t talk about it much anymore. It’s almost as if many people that voted for that moment now want to erase it.
I’m really surprised Simmons voted for the guy. I forget what radio talk show he was on, but I recall coming home from work, and having my mother talk about this most intelligent man she heard talking on the radio, it was Gene Simmons.
Muhhhhtherrrr. I saw him onstage in ‘78, remember? Kiss? The guy with the tongue?

Really??? First off for CNN to give Elliot Spitzer a job is a joke, second, come on Gene… did you really base your vote on making history??? We were already in a world of hurt. I know McCain wasn’t much of an alternative(Thanx RNC) but still maybe the next time around you will look at the candidate’s qualifications before you vote. Don’t worry though… I still loves me some K.I.S.S. Ya Ya

I follow Gene and his series. I do not care much for his music. This business man, drug and alcohol free rocker is respected in my eyes when it comes to his opinion on politics. All this man thinks about is his business & family. He is very Patriotic. It this guy came to my state and ran for Congress, I would vote for him!

What is it with whites in america, they still feel guilty for slavery, even though they were not alive when it was happening ? of course slavery was a terrible thing, but we tried to make reparations, we have given them food, shelter, to get on their feet, and what do they do, join gang’s, kill each other, sell drugs, write all over the walls, instead of taking care of what little they had, then get dependant on the handouts, they need to take a lesson from the Jewish people, the most oppressed, people in history, they were slave too, remember the holocaust ? do you see them doing these things ? NO, they made something of themselves

Wow, I thought Gene Simmons was a brilliant businessman. What in God’s green earth made him think Obama was anything other than a socialist? It was for all to see before the election.
