Former President George H.W. Bush plans to formally endorse Mitt Romney on Thursday, after unofficially throwing his support behind him in December.
Bush and Romney will appear together at an event in Houston and speak to reporters, a Romney spokeswoman told the Associated Press.
Bush offered words of support for the former Massachusetts governor late last year, calling Romney “the best choice for us,” while stopping short of an official endorsement.
Former first lady Barbara Bush has already officially backed Romney, even recording automated phone calls for him during the Ohio primary. Their son, former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush, endorsed Romney last week and encouraged the party to “unite” around him.
As The Hill pointed out, such endorsements from the Bush family “suggest mainstream Republican heavyweights want the Republican primary to effectively end and for the party to rally around Romney.”
Former President George W. Bush has not backed anyone in the GOP race.

Bush appointed Souter because Souter marketed himself as a conservative thinker and pretended to side with conservative beliefs. But once he was appointed he took off that mask and reveiled his true side….A Vermont Liberal. And the following day wore his FOOLED YOU t-shirt.

Posted on March 28, 2012 at 10:18pmI don’t think Romney cares about Republicans and Democrats, and I don’t think he has ulterior motives. All he wants to do is lead America to prosperity.
If he were a megalomaniac like Newt he would be constantly praising himself for all of his selfless acts (which are beyond enumeration). Instead, you don’t hear him say a word about any of it, unless he directly questioned. The guy has more hours of service to his fellow man under his belt than the entire Obama administration combined.

And the RNC should suffer (and die) for the choices they’ve offered up.
Americans need four more years of this; maybe it‘ll make ’em smarter. Or madder. Or *something*. Anything is better than the Status Quo. In change there is hope. Romney is *not* change.

Posted on March 28, 2012 at 11:33pmAs long as you are cutting off your nose to spite your face you may as well cut off your ears and gouge out your eyes too while you are at it so that you won’t be able to see and hear America in its death throes. Seriously! The nonsense that some of you spout puts liberal Democrats to shame. It is not as if there was some secret cabal of all the Bushes, McCain, McConnell, Boehner and Bill Kristol that got together in some smoke-filled room and conspired to anoint Mitt Romney. We started out with a field of eight candidates, remember? We have had, what, twenty debates and how many primaries and caucuses? And now we’re getting close to the finish line. So at this stage you have to ask yourself, who has the best chance of defeating Obama? Now I am not going to tell you you have to be enthusiastic about Romney if he’s not your guy. Lord knows I wasn’t crazy about McCain. But J.C. Freaking Penny don‘t go to the other side because your guy didn’t win. That’s childish! And I’m talking to you too, Soybomb. If the candidates we have are not good enough for ya’, you run! Do I hear crickets? Exactly! People! There is no perfect candidate! So let me paraphrase the motto of the Rangers: If you’re not going to be enthusiastic at least jump on the wagon. If you can’t do that then stay home out of the way.

Quick… weigh in on this.
Newt Gingrich is the real enemy right? I mean…. Newt Gingrich is the Progressive right?
When Newt was the 3rd most powerful person in the United States he and Clinton spent us into this debt…. Right?
Romney Looks Presidential ( doesn’t wear a tie, open collar, no Jacket, Blue jeans)
Romney Acts Presidential (will not go on your show, or Mark Levins show, never answers a question)
Romney Talks Presidential (stutters and reads from the teleprompter)
Romney campaigns like a President (trash talking with none of his ideas or policies)
The Problem is, Romney is acting like OUR CURRENT President…That is ok, Newt is the real problem right?
OK…. Just needed to clarify…

There has been no real change from first Bush, to Clinton, to second Bush to Obama. They are all the same. The spending continues, the debt rises, the wars dont stop, and freedoms are taken away. When will the other 95% of the country realize this.
With Romney as the candidate, Obama wins in a landslide. Oh and to all of you genius who believe the Senate is more important, remember this White House does most of its work without Congress. They have practically made them irrelevant. Czars and regulators have all the power now.
We need to go back to the Constitution and there is only one candidate in the race that will do that.

We have our chance at a brokered convention. We have to seize that opportunity and vote in a guy that is a stark contrast from Obama. We all know there is only one candidate in the race that honestly offers a different plan than Obama and the clones.
Ron Paul 2012. I am voting for him in November. The GOP candidate cannot beat Obama without the Ron Paul supporters and only one candidate is going to get the Ron Paul supporters.
