She talks about Odonnell? what is she? the only reason she is on this show is the liberal msm want a blonde bimbo with NO ACCOMPLISHMENTS herself accept daddy ran for president and she agrees with the lame stream presses point of view. They wonder why NO body watches the show… NO BODY cares about her vapid opinion. Full of Sound and Fury Signifying NOTHING.

    I would call Megan a trust-fund-baby. Also incapable of truly debating the issues as an intelligent adult. Listening to her just makes me shake my head. She uses her position as a Senator’s daughter to spew forth her own version of Republican (RINO) philosophy. However;
“If you’re not a liberal at twenty you have no heart, if you’re not a conservative at forty you have no brain.” Winston Churchill1874-1965
If she should get out into the big world on her own, then maybe she will see what the rest of hard-working Americans see.

Megan doesn’t come from the average middle American family, so when she says ” she speaking from her experience & her friends” well, does that really mean anything at all to the average 26 yrs.. Her mother is extremely wealthy from inheritance and her dad, well, what can I say, is a crook.

Meghan McCain is a spokesman for Meghan McCain. She is not a spokesman for my generation. She is an elitist snob that wouldn’t know how to walk and chew gum, much less know what her peers believe. My father is a Liberal and my mother a Conservative. I was left to decide on my own what values I would embrace and neither have ever pressured me either way, I am an Independant Conservative and Im proud of it. I had a choice in going to college, but knew it would be a waste of time and money, so I embraced trade. I love working with my hands and my brain to either provide services or get those things done that keep this country running. From working in the airline industry to the oilfield to working in healthcare now, I understand what it is to get up at 4a and work till 12a. I know what its like to work till your arms are so sore you can’t lift them. I know what its like to problem solve when unexpected crises arise and I can empathize with “real people”. I don’t think Meghan would know a real person if she tripped over them. I have balanced a checkbook, paid bills and had to make sacrifices when times were tough. No silver spoon here. I would love to meet Meghan just so I could let her know exactly what I think of her speaking for “my generation”. Will someone please shut her up before I have to?

Right on target CRUISMATES. Just looking over the posts here I see these word describing Megan McCain: chunky monkey (new version of “fatso”), vapid, clueless, bimbo, stupid, spoiled rich girl etc. but not a single intelligent argument against her views.

Somebody commented on the decisions they‘ve made and the hard work they’ve done as a contrast to Megan McCain. I admired that comment, and I’ve mowed lawns and dug a few sewer pipe trenches with a shovel myself. But has O’Donnel ever had a job in her life? If so, what did she do? Besides her being opposed to Obama, what qualification does she have?

Carlos Palidino running for governor of NY is like a surreal comedy. Here’s a TP family values candidate running for office while supporting a child with a woman he cheated with, forwarding pornographic, misongynist and racist photos and “jokes” (he’s admitted it, please) and yet God fearing, Christian TP members embrace him because he’s against Obama.

      Megan was right.

Megan‘s fear justified and it’s proven over and over by comments you see on this website.

If her background is also so short in politics and daddy didn’t tell her all she knows, then why does anyone cover her? The only reason she gets any attention is because basically she is a wolf in GOP clothing! Progressives always circumvent using tactics likes these. HELLO WE SEE THROUGH YOU!

“I am all for fiscal conservatism, but you need to think about winning the war and stop dying in battle. You sound like bunch a “tards” yourselves. Is it so hard to listen to listen to constructive criticism?…
…I remain conservative, but you folks are turning me off with your intolerance more and more. Taking away social issues – what exactly does the Tea Party stand for now?”

Cruisemates, exactly what do you view as “Intolerant”? Our absolutely uncompromising stance against the Tyranny of Statism through the veil of Political Correctness and Progressive Policies? Guilty as charged. RINO republicanism is like a farmer who sells his farm to raise the money to buy farm supplies. You may get elected, but what is the point? It certainly is not to advance the cause of liberty, because you sacrifice that cause in order to appeal to progressive voters. Meghan McCain is NOT a conservative, no matter how many times she says she is. She is a progressive. She is not mature enough to understand the difference and apparently neither are you. If the “Youth” of America thinks the way she thinks ( as she wants you to believe) then we will have to win these elections in spite of them, rather than pandering to their ill informed demographic. I feel however that that is not the case, I believe even young people ( and I am not old) do not follow her.

I think she is saying the “tea party” of today has usurped the real tea party as started by Rick Santelli in response to a falling stock market live on CNBC. I was watching him that day and remember it clearly when he said “Are you listening, Mr. Obama?” and held up his tea bag. Were you there? Do you even know how the Tea Party really started? Do you know why they can claim “it is a party of Americans concerned about fiscal responsibility, not just republicans.”

My point is that I am sick and tired of Tea Party claiming to be the true Republicans, and I think that is what Meghan is saying. Those people have usurped my tea party.

Nowhere in the Republican handbook or Constitution does it say “we are anti-gay,“ ”anti-immigrant” (I did not say illegal immigrant) or pro-Christian. We are pro GOD and for individual freedoms, mostly the right to say government should NOT intervene in our personal lives.

I am fiscally conservative and that is all that matters. The rest is MY PERSONAL BUSINESS. Moral matters do not belong in politics, governments are for maintaining the infrastructure, a strong defense, public safety and promoting free enterprise.

Now HEAR ME OUT. YES – you have the right to moralize in your schools, churches, neighborhoods and homes, but where in the Constitution does it say anything about legislating morality in government.

My whole point (and Meghan’s) is that THIS is why the Republicans are not fully winning the battle for the hearts & minds of America. If we concentrate on putting fiscal conservatism first, and leave the social topics for areas outside of government (Like our churches), THEN we will control government again and be in a position to stop the Progressives you seem to fear so much.

Where is the courage of your convictions? Where is your faith that if you do the right thing and live righteously and lead by example that your visions will come true? Christ’s followers wanted him to be a political leader, he sad that is not the way. He led by example, not by taking power by force. Mohammed, on the other hand, was all about the political force. Look where that has led Islam.

Are you aware the worst progressives, the Daily Kos, are scoring mega-points right now by referring to neo-cons as the American Taliban? Yeah, that hurts, doesn’t it? I want to win elections for fiscal conservatism. Put that first and the rest will take care of itself. Stop moralizing out loud in political forums. It isn’t the right place.

What is wrong with this sad little girl? I didn’t love McCain, even though I am a proud republican, but having this nobody in the white house, would have been a real shame. Almost as bad as who we have in there now. Maybe she should stop trying to get attention, and grow up.

@Cruisemates. It’s not about intolerance, it’s about what is right and what is wrong. It IS that simple. Everyone else, if it talks like a progressive and thinks like a progressive…well you get the idea :)

Ms McCain is honest, like her father. If Sarah Palin is the best hope of the Republican Party, then they are in trouble. She can see Alaska from her front porch, so she is excellent on Russia. The Tea Party is based on the Boston Tea Party, wherein men dressed as Indians (yep) threw tea into the Boston, thereby committing a terroist act and polluting the Harbor. And this collection of Village Idiots are piping mad that a black man is competent and in the Executive Mansion (no longer the “White” House)!

Prayers from M. McCain – Thank you, Daddy, for my last name, because if I wasn’t a McCain, no one would give a hoot about what I have to say. Thank you Huffington Post and ladies on The View. P.S. Whoopi and Joy – please don’t tell anyone the secret I told you – that I really voted for Obama, and not my dad Amen.

It never ceases to amaze me how people continue to ask the question, “Is __________ qualified to run for _________office?” I still can’t believe Chris Matthews asks that question almost daily about Sarah Palin, when he still gets so excited about a Junior Senator who never had a real job. But, why would you, McCain, slam this one, single, candidate, when there are so many more candidates running for re-election to make examples of? Really Meghan, you think she’s a “nut job”? What about Barney Frank? To quote you – “she’s seen as a nut job”…..“scary for me for a lot of reasons”. When someone like O’Donnell scares you enough to write about her in your blog instead of taking on the people who have actively taken measures to ruin our country, i.e., Frank, Pelosi, Reid, and on and on …. until you take the time to actually become informed instead of blogging on school girl emotions, its time to hang up your silly little blogging tools and go out and find a real job – something not attached to your Daddy’s name. Do something constructive for this country and stop acting so selfishly.

Years of working with the public has taught me to watch the eyes. She is talking to Amanpour, someone who really wants to hear her say bad things about conservatives.
Yet, at the very end she has to look off to the side when she says “nut job”. LOL, no make that crying out loud. Whats the code for that?

I heard 3 errors in grammar. Go back to school little girl…or to the safety of Daddy’s house. Neither the Republican Party nor the Tea Party needs you to speak on their behalf.
