George Zimmerman Goes to Jail as Martin Family Exults

After turning himself in and subsequently being charged with second degree murder, George Zimmerman has been transported to the Seminole County Criminal Justice Center, according to CNN. He has reportedly been “troubled,” according to his attorney Mark O’Mara – an understandable reaction, given the circumstances:
Trayvon Martin’s family, meanwhile, is ecstatic at the news of the arrest:
Martin‘s parents spoke after Corey’s announcement.
“We simply wanted an arrest; we wanted nothing more, nothing less,” said Martin’s mother, Sybrina Fulton. “We just wanted an arrest, and we got it and I say thank you, thank you Lord, thank you Jesus.”
Martin’s father, Tracy, said, “we will continue to walk by faith, we will continue to hold hands on this journey. White, black, Hispanic, Latino…. We will march until the right thing is done.”

I wish the “black community” would STOP and look into “why Trayvon was killed”? Still, it feels the Special Prosecutor had him arrested as a PR thing. You know, maybe he even suggested it, simply as a way of taking enough heat off that he could afford to go back to work.
You know the man hasn’t been living out of his home, or going to his job regularly. This has certainly turned his life upside down. He might just have called her and suggested the arrest just to make the press shut up and the New Black Panthers go home.
I’m not saying any of this is right. I just heard he stopped talking to his lawyers and had even called the Prosecutor directly. His former attorneys looked like they wanted to throttle him for it. Who knows at this point. My question is, “who will riot when the final verdict comes out?”

What I’d really like to know though: Why does the BLAZE continue to run the photo of a former innocent “little boy” Travon instead of the more recent “grown-up” teen-aged, super charged, football playing Travon. There are night and day differences between a pre-pubescent 12 year old (pictured) and an older fully developed teenager! Why are we continuing this charade image of a “little child” potentially (or allegedly)murdered by the rough looking full grown unshaven (ex-con looking) Zimmerman. After this many weeks, I would expect the BLAZE to navigate to the most truthful image…and they will if they want my continued subscription to GBTV, the BLAZE and affiliated product support…c’mon Glenn!

Posted on April 12, 2012 at 9:47amRegardless of the outcome from any trial (that may, or may not come about) I hope the judge does what the Simi Valley Judge did not do…delay reading the verdict for 24 hours until state/local police are recalled from days off/vacations/etc and put on alert…maybe even activate the national guard in the area.
I believe the judge in the Simi Valley trial wishes he’d have done this.

OJ Simpson: Acquitted of killing his white wife and white stranger, Feds do NOTHING. OJ sued, and found liable.
When is White America going to wake up to the double standard in the Press and the Courts? Blacks have a “get out of jail free” card and Whites are screwed, blued, chewed and tatooed before they even get a hearing.
And the White taxpayers pay for it. Well, I remembr this kind of crap when I get a jury summons……

Additionally he was seeing a counselor for anger management and had a problem with white kids in the school. The term addition by subtraction comes to mind.

EVERY picture I could find of him, he is either flipping the bird, double bird, holding a wad of money like an idiot, throwing gang signs or showing off his tattoos, also like an idiot OR grimacing so you can see his ‘grills’ – I have not been able to find a current photo of him just standing there like a normal person, or standing next to anyone else-something that might show his size, etc.

And after the 2nd degree murder trial there’ll be the Hate Crimes trial and then the Civil trial to recoup all the riches cute little Travon would have made as a rapper. Has anyone mentioned the manufacturer of the gun Zimmerman used? They’ll definitely be part of a civil case. Zimmerman’s not got the deep pockets Glock or Smith and Wesson or Ruger or Colt have.

I was angry, but I didn’t want revenge, or blood…I wanted justice. I am not angry still that she walks free. She was there, but in my view, she did not have murder in her heart. It is possible to be angry, yet not sin in your anger. I believe you are right. This is a family who wants justice…a fair trial for all involved. Whosoever is guilty, let them be so, whosoever is innocent, let them be so as well. There was a desperate attempt to use this as race fuel (they cannot find a white on black crime, so they had to invent one!) to heat things up for summer. I hear many here speaking things like “let the race war begin” but you don’t realize what you are asking! Is that really what you want for this nation? How, by all that is holy, can you say you love this country, and stand for her freedoms, when the very thing you are calling for, would create the exact scenario the radicals want???? please, Patriots, think!

If he posts bail, he should be left alone by others, so that he, like any other defendant can live in peace, plan his defense, and receive his day in court. None of this hounding him, and following him arpound. He is, as any other defendant, INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY in a court of law. NO ONE has the right to exact “street justice” upon him. Yet a Black person testified that Trayvon was smashing George Zimmerman’s head into the pavement and telling Zimmerman he was going to kill him, grabbing for Zimmerman’s gun when Zimmerman pulled the trigger.
I think all Trayvon‘s parent’s want is a Civil War and forgot what percentage of the USA population that THUGS are compared to Law Abiding Citizens who treasure their neighborhood watch guys in this modern age of violent thugs.
Like so many folks who don’t think things through, they are not nearly as likely to be happy with what they “wish for” when they get it as they THINK they will be.

Posted on April 11, 2012 at 10:05pmThe Martin family certainly does NOT want a civil war. They have been very outspoken against the New Black Panthers, for example. They are simply grieving parents who are unwilling to accept that their child might not have been innocent and that his killer might not be guilty. This is normal, albeit illogical, behavior for parents.
