George Zimmerman Releases Bilingual Video Thanking His Supporters

Odds are, if you’ve been following the Trayvon Martin case, you have an opinion – probably a very strong one – about who is at fault in the case, and how you think it ought to come out.

Of course, until the case ends, we won’t actually know which of these opinions turned out to be right. But watching the behavior of the participants can prove instructive, which is why this story about George Zimmerman is arguably revealing. You see, Zimmerman has recreated TheRealGeorgeZimmerman.com, a site he originally set up when the case’s media coverage was trending heavily against him. Now, Zimmerman is enjoying more balanced coverage, and as such, has uploaded a Youtube video where he thanks his supporters, both in English and Spanish, for their support:

Responses to this video are predictable. Zimmerman’s supporters will seize on it as proof that he is a class act, and Zimmerman‘s opponents will claim it’s nothing but disingenuous, empty sociopathy. One can’t actually know which of these explanations is true until the trial concludes.

      Since most of this is being orchestrated by his attorney there are only two possible motives. First, to humanize a guy who followed, confronted, shot and killed a 17 yr. old KID. Why would he need to do this if he and his attorney believed in his innocence. Second, his attorney realizes how much money can be raised to pay his fees and sees the thank you video as a way to prime future donations. Kinda like pitching books, a blog site and online TV to your radio audience.

    The answer may lie in police records, which show that 50 suspicious-person reports were called in to police in the past year at Twin Lakes. There were eight burglaries, nine thefts and one other shooting in the year prior to Trayvon’s death.

    In all, police had been called to the 260-unit complex 402 times from Jan. 1, 2011 to Feb. 26, 2012.

    “He once caught a thief and an arrest was made,” said Cynthia Wibker, secretary of the homeowners association. “He helped solve a lot of crimes.”

    Zimmerman told neighbors about stolen laptops and unsavory characters. Ibrahim Rashada, a 25-year-old African American who works at U.S. Airways, once spotted young men cutting through the woods entering the complex on foot, and later learned items were stolen those days.

    “It’s a gated community, but you can walk in and steal whatever you want,” Rashada’s wife, Quianna, said.

      I’ve researched the case pretty well, but I haven’t run across the info provided on the above link.
      It sheds new light on things. That housing area was a magnet for burglars and other thieves, with home invasions as well.

      The worst characters in this entire debacle are the crooked prosecutor, the judge, and the governor who appointed her…..but, even worse than they are are the brainless illogically driven types who are defending this brutal, vicious criminal as a “child.”

      He is the EXACT same type of black who is involved in flash mob beatings where lone people are being killed and maimed seriously simply because the attackers have been encouraged to hate whites by the Al Sharptons, the Jeremiah Wrights, and the self-hating white talking heads on t.v.

      I can see why the corrupt Nifong-type prosecutor never wanted to take the case to the grand jury, because Zimmerman would have been exonerated, and she wanted to quell the black mobs from rioting by charging him.

      And she is being supported by the crooked Florida judiciary and law enforcement. It’s disgraceful.

      In an ordinary case I would agree with you. It’s never agood idea to give the crooked prosecution anything to twist and use against a person, especially if it is a Nifong prosecutor who is as crooked as the day is long.

      But it is the prosecutor and her cronies…including the judge……Lester…who want to slowly denigrate Zimmerman in the court of public opinion, in order to deflect the huge amount of criticism from themselves for unscrupulously charging Zimmerman in order to quell the black mobs, so Zimmerman has no choice but to fight back the same way, using the truth as a weapon.

      This is one of the most shameful lynchings I’ve ever read about. It’s worse even than the Duke La Crosse case where the prosecutor knew the guys were innocent, but still manufactured evidence to convict them….just as this radical feminist, Angela Corey, is doing.

      It’s a disgrace and reveals how crooked the judiciary and law enforcement is in Florida.

    I think George is getting a little caught up with all of this campaign season hoopla. George! Listen up! You’re not running for office. You’ve been charged with a crime and are facing trial! Apparently your lawyers feel your best shot at a favorable outcome is to put you out there for any and all interviews before the trial, with the hope that the trial will turn into one big goat-rope of a mistrial since the case has already been tried in the court of public opinion.       He can’t keep his stories straight.
      I read that the prosecution is including this interview as evidence.

      Zimmerman passed a lie detector and hasn’t wavered one iota from his original story. The tapes and two eye witnesses verify that.

      What do geeks like you hope to accomplish by distorting the facts?

      Any unbiased jury will render a not guilty verdict without question, and the black mobs will riot.

      It would be true justice if liars like you were caught up in it and beaten to a pulp.
