Georgia Family Rides Out Tornado in Tanning Bed

WAGA-TV:

A Georgia salon owner is thankful she and her daughters are still alive after the three of them rode out a deadly storm by taking shelter in an unlikely place — a tanning bed.

Lisa Rice says she noticed dark skies and flying debris in downtown Trenton late Wednesday before she and her daughters, ages 19 and 21, jumped into the tanning bed and closed it to shield themselves.

Keep reading at myfoxatlanta.com …

Did we mention the daughters are named Stormy and Sky?

If a tornado is coming, I’m not crawling into a glass-lined coffin. What were
they thinking? Stay away from glass, don’t surround yourself with it! Glad
    they survived!

Don’t tell the Obama administration about this. They might have to pay a tax for using a tanning bed

This counts as using a tanning bed and Obama has a special tanning bed use tax.

You owe the Obama regime, the enemy of freedom, liberty, constitution, truth and the USA, $50 in tax for this tanning bed use.

Or TANNING BED RIDES – one “E” ticket.

But what does this have to do with the destruction of America as we know it from progressive ice-holes?

FOX is showing the ROYAL WEDDING – as if anyone cared. Come on FOX – nobody gives a crap.

Some smart Capitalist needs to start manufacturing and selling “Tornado Survival Beds” immediately. Seriously, the design concept of these tanning beds would translate very, very easily to “survival beds” for tornado storms. I think most of us by now know that housing isn‘t the survivor’s solution.

Oh, my goodness! They weren’t the only ones. A guy called in to WSB radio in the wee hours — about 1:00 or so, and said that his girlfriend and a friend of hers were IN tanning beds when the tornado hit. The building collapsed on top of them, and the girls had to be dug out. They were okay, though.

They even had time to stick a cute palm tree sticker on each of their shoulders and apply a little lotion. It was a rough afternoon for everyone, but they’re just grateful that all moles are showing as benign.

There is another, even more incredible story of survival by a Georgia family. The daugther was swept out of the house on her mattress and survived. Read about it in the Atlanta Journal Constitution here:
