Bad blood spills over between cops in neighboring Delaware County towns, who are caught on camera in a cop-on-cop confrontation.
Fox 29 has new video tonight of a confrontation between police officers in Darby and Colwyn boroughs.
The county District Attorney is looking into the case, after a Colwyn officer accused Darby’s police chief of assaulting him.

Posted on March 25, 2011 at 10:22amHow ridiculous. Instead of thanking the other officer (who was flagged down)…….the police chief goes crazy. He should be fired and they should get one that has some sense. The other officer may have had a legitimate reason for crossing the border and being there. Then again…who cares?

Posted on March 25, 2011 at 9:23amThis is scarey, cops fighting cops. This reminds me of the upheaval in the administration and our president pitting groups of people against one another. I hope this behaviour does not keep spreading throughout the Country. It would be so much better if we put our energy into figuring out how to take our Country back. Maybe these cops need to re-group and re-take their test.

At least if they prey on each other, they have less time to prey on the people of their respective cities.
It’s no longer protect and serve, it’s seek and screw. To see how much money we can extract from our citizens. Without thinking or caring about how many lives they are ruining.

Posted on March 25, 2011 at 8:13amCops are regular people, prone to emotions and mistakes. There was cop in my neighborhood a few years ago that went nuts over something his girlfriend did and shot up the neighborhood. The elementary school where I was picking up my son had to be locked down. Personally, I think the SWAT team should have put him down. If he had fired his gun in the direction of my house and my family I would have shot back
Cops have chosen to do a tough job, and I show them the same respect they show me. That said, there’s probably about 20% or more of cops who shouldn’t be in uniform. There’s a couple in this story.

Posted on March 25, 2011 at 7:51amSince it appears a “county wide” force is not something that would come to be in short order, the first thing they should do is rid themselves of this kidergarten chief. His attitude will and probably has rubbed off on the troops and contaminated the force. I’m sure there are good coppers on each force but with a boss like this moron the public is not served or protected. I‘ve seen this stuff before and it doesn’t get better over time.

Posted on March 25, 2011 at 7:35am@ALVIN691 ~~~ You are so right on that issue, which also leads to the homosexual life style which has its foundation in lack of emotional maturity past 8, 9 10 years old, tops 14. Amazing how many there are now who have not emotionally grown past our prepubescent years. It’s really, really, really sad. And, the sickness of a society that promotes that lifestyle as a choice could be one big reason we are in the mess we are in on all levels. Just thinking….. and praying.

Posted on March 25, 2011 at 7:18amHaving lived in UPPER Darby for 40 years, this is about “towns” that are actually “little cities” now, and it sounds like it is a turf war for the Darby Polic Chief. These are areas that were sleepy little suburbs in the years I lived there, and the city has overtaken these row house “suburbs.” A county-wide or shared services police force would make so much more sense at this time in history!

Posted on March 25, 2011 at 7:30amI’ll give you a good one in a little FL town I pastored in for a time.
When going to the store at the other side of town (about a three minute walk, small town indeed) I seen a wreck happen, with no injuries…involved were the towns mayor, bailiff and sheriff. So I came over and asked if everyone was alright…they thought I asked if anyone needed ‘last rights’…
Very comical from my point of view on the last part.

Sorry I have not been keeping in touch the last couple of days, blasted allergies are keeping me miserable, and the allergy meds the doc has me on are keeping me sleepy and fog headed.
Hope all is good today for you, just tried a new tea blend of winter mint, clover and a accidental pinch of oregano mixed in…not the best tasting, mildly putting it, but the look on my face at that first swallow must have been priceless…my little cat looked at me like she was about to break out in laughter if she could.,

In the case of the Gators, I guess if they won, then no one needs to feed them for a time…a full gator only needs to feed about once every six months or so, unless on “Gator Aid” then it is once a year.

“A few bad apples don’t spoil the hole much.”
30 years ago, your view was correct.
Today the notion is that “a few good apples don’t make the bunch less bad”.
If you think cops are your friends who will do the right thing, I point you to Wisconsin and how they kowtowed to their actual masters.

I don’t really want to make broad general assertions but as a whole society is coursening and fast.. That’ would include cops, doctors, miltary, bankers, christians, civilians…you name it. To contiune to tow the line that Cops and Military personnel are somehow beyond reproach is just not really logical. I know it sounds good and makes you feel real good about yourself but it’s simply not always true.
America desperately needs a spiritual reawakening but it will never happen as long as our Media spews the garbage it puts out 24/7. If you want a better America you better first get a better Media.

Posted on March 25, 2011 at 12:57pmI have seen these type of confrontations before between police officers. The location of where I used to work was a disputed area between the city police and the county as to who had jurisdiction. One time there was a serious crime committed (details not relevant) and there was a group of both county and city police officers and officials gathered discussing something for hours. I found out from one of the bosses that they were arguing about who had jurisdiction and that was not the first incident that he had witnessed. He said whenever there is a serious incident at this location this is what happens. I guess they just had a huge disagreement as to who had jurisdiction.
