Get Ready for the All-Egg Angry Birds Cookbook

Get Ready for the All Egg Angry Birds CookbookYou’re probably familiar with Angry Birds, the immensely popular game that can be played on mobile devices, computers and the like. Now, Rovio, the app’s creator, is gearing up for an entirely new project — a cookbook. Mashable has more:

Rovio’s Angry Birds cookbook will be targeted at families and include mostly egg-based recipes. The title will be self-published and likely distributed by Amazon, Apple and Barnes & Noble, in book form and as an ebook app, with Rovio banking 90% of all sales.

Few details are known about the cookbook other than its egg-centric nature. But Rovio’s product business has so far proved a substantial addition to the Angry Birds franchise.

What started out as a fun-filled app has expanded into a major brand that is bringing the company a boatload of money. Business Insider reports that Rovio has already sold “millions of plush bird toys and t-shirts.”

Will you be downloading or picking up a copy?

My pet Pullet said if I brought that book home, she was gonna pack her eggs and move out the house.
Soo! I won’t. I can’t afford to lose a dependant on my tax form.
What w/ all those eggs getting ready to hatch. More dependants.
Foghorn , my neighbour’s rooster also piped in. He told me please don’t let her leave. He’d have to give up his sextings. Guess that’s how my pullet got preggers.

*sigh* What’s with these people tonight??? Again — “app” is short for “application”, which is nothing but a computer program. Angry Birds is a game which can be played on phones and on your computer. That’s all. (You already use many apps, I’m sure.) It’s free. It’s a puzzle/physics game, where projectiles with different characteristics must be used to penetrate defensive structures and kill an enemy (in this case, pigs which have stolen your eggs to eat them, oh noes!!1!) It’s a fun, cute, silly game. Give it a try.

Any more of this nonsense I‘m gonna start cussin’.

I love eggs but cant eat runny eggs. To me, eggs can be a comfort food just like maccaroni and cheese. Omelot, french toast, breakfast burrito homemade, hardly anything you can bake that doesnt call for an egg or three, scrambled eggs in butter and toast or better yet, homemade buttermilk biscuits, lots of boiled eggs in tuna salid. Eggs are good. Chickens do have mites and are a fright when they molt. But their eggs are good. Lotus.

“You’re probably familiar with Angry Birds”

In what universe is that a likely premise? Is it assumed that we all possess the same toys with the same stupid games and play them? Some of us still haven’t bothered to make the transistion to the world where “aps” exist.

Lighten up, for pity’s sake. If you haven’t figured it out, “app” is short for “application”, which is just a computer program, so chances are you probably use one or two already.

It’s a free game, you play it right in your browser.

If you use Google Chrome or SRWare Iron (my preference) you can play right here:

      http://chrome.angrybirds.com/

      Prolly for other browsers too.

It’s a simple-in-concept game of the genre called “physics-based.” A thin plot structure (but in this case very amusing and engaging) supports the gameplay, which consists of using a slingshot to fire some very angry birds at pigs in their bunkers. You must knock down the structure and kill the pigs with a specified number of shots. Different birds act different ways — some will accelerate like jets, others will split up and MIRV in to targets. The various targets will react in realistic ways to the impacts — boards may fall or break, ice may shatter, rocks may roll, etc. It is essentially a puzzle game – and very cute and fun. Give it a try.

      Dare ya.

Mr. Beck wants me to have chickens and produce food organically at home for my family. We have lots of hens and a couple of roosters. We let some of the eggs hatch and have chicken instead of eggs sometimes as we get tired of eating eggs all the time. While it is not insightful of the author to assume that most of us have played this ridiculas “ap game,“ the notion that there is a new ”egg only” cookbook coming out is vaguely newsworthy and may end up being purchased by some member of my family.

Tumblebumble…You have believed the idiot doctors. Cholesterol is an essential repair agent in the human body. It repairs small tears in the lining of blood vessels and arteries or you would bleed to death. The tears are caused by CARBOHYDRATES and SUGARS. The cholesterol does the repair work and it gets blamed because the repair job had to be so big to fix the damage done by sugar.

BTW, if you dont eat HEALTHY FAT your body will produce cholesterol…Do some research and stop being afraid of eggs and healthy fat. I myself have lost over 150 pounds and kept it off for 6 years now by a HIGH FAT diet. I eat about 6 egg yolks a day along with cheese and high fat beef and of course bacon… I am no longer an Insulin dependent Diabetic either, I use NO meds, because I dont need them. My cholesterol levels are perfect and I have run 4 marathons at 58 tears of age…

The stupid doctors want you sick…Time to get well with a high good fat diet…Avoid man made fats like corn oil and vegetable oils. Use REAL butter and LARD. Get your health back and stop listening to the lying a#@ doctors who want to sell you statin drugs. Statin drugs will kill you as they break down muscle tissue…Bet you didnt know that either huh???

      DUSTYLUV ~

For three blood tests in a row, I scored high in my LDL cholesterol, low in HDL, and high in my triglyceride count. My doctor wants me on medication for it but I keep refusing. Finally, by label reading and drastically cutting down on foods high in cholesterol did my numbers drop just into acceptable ranges.

I also run marathons. Training starts tomorrow morning to get ready for the Chicago in the fall, in fact. All the ‘veterans’ stress the importance of carbs to us underlings.

So confusing. Do you recommend a book or website that I could read about this?

      @Tumble Bumble:

If you want a recipe to use in your book with my screename use one of my favorite deserts:

      Cherry Delight:

12×12 inch pan, 6 in deep or similar size container:

Mix in prepared vanilla pudding (any mix will do) on top of a layer of gram crackers (not crushed ones) and repeat for a second layer; on the top put whatever pie filling you wish to along with liberal doses of whipped cream and then cover.

Chill for 24 hours. (this is an absolute for it to set up properly)

      Enjoy.

This is simple to make, delicious, totally fattening, and almost everyone will like it.

Also a sugar free variety is availible for diabetics and dieters. Just substitute sugar free products for those above. I make both versions routinely.

      Tumble….The Great Cholesterol Myth…

Heres just one of many websites that tell the truth…
      http://www.truthaboutabs.com/whole-eggs-or-egg-whites.html

BTW you can lower your cholesterol with a higher carb/ lowfat diet, the trouble is that the DAMAGE from a high carb/lowfat diet will still occur and even with low cholesterol you can get a plaque buildup. Remember, cholesterol is a repair agent. It is repairing DAMAGE. The damage is done by carbohydrates.

The question is…If it is a repair agent and essential to life, why would you want to LOWER it? The question you should ask is what are the HDL and Tryglyceride ratios? High HDL is good! Low trygylcerides is good! LDL levels mean nothing if those two numbers are in line…

The Paleolithic diet is by far your best bet to live a long long time. Its low glycemic, moderate carbs and high good fat.I really never get hungry either (unless I eat some high carb food which is rare)

Visit Marks daily apple. dot com. My doctor told me he has never seen a lower tryglyceride level with such a high HDL (good cholesterol) level in anyone. When i told him it was from eating a high fat low glycemic nutrition plan he called me a liar…LOL He is finally starting to believe after he did the plan for a month…

A good video…FAT HEAD…Its an older video but funny and enlightening…

a comment about real cooking and food
Daniel Y.C. Fung, a Kansas State food microbiologist, and Erdogan Ceylan, a research assistant, studied the antagonistic effect different doses of cinnamon alone and in combination with preservatives would have on E. coli bacteria in apple juice. Ceylan added 1 million E. coli bacteria cells to one milliliter of pasteurized apple juice. The number of bacteria cells added to the juice was higher than the amount of bacteria cells that would be found in consumer food products and was done for experimental purposes only. After adding approximately 0.3 percent of cinnamon – roughly over one teaspoon of the spice to a 64-ounce bottle – about 99 percent of the E. coli was killed. Fung’s research found that several spices, including garlic, clove, cinnamon, oregano and sage killed 99 percent of E. coli bacteria.

There is absolutely no need to pasteurize, destroy or add harmful chemicals to our natural food supply when preparing and cooking our food with natural spices like garlic, clove, cinnamon, oregano and sage kills E. coli bacteria. More people will die as a result of pasteurization, crop destruction and adding harmful chemicals than from any E.coli outbreak. Why are these things kept secret ?
