Gibbs: ‘Unconstitutional’ Ruling Will Have ‘No Practical Impact’ on ObamaCare

The White House is rebuffing a U.S. District Judge‘s ruling that the new mandates included in Democrats’ landmark health care overhaul legislation over-extend the constitutional powers delegated to the federal government. The Obama administration is promising to appeal the decision and during a Tuesday press briefing, press secretary Robert Gibbs said the judge’s ruling will have “no practical impact at all as states move forward in… implementing the law that Congress passed and the President signed.”

This scenario is exactly what‘s so Eff’d up with the Leftist Progressives. Constitution be damned, they’ll do what ever it takes to accomplish their agenda. “Rules” and “Laws” are for others, and just get it the way.

The Constitution is written for the purpose of limiting government’s power. It is actually most unconstitutional to extend more power to the government and the presidency. If this keeps up we should be able to wave the original and say hey, we do not HAVE to comply. In truth the same COULD be said of the Income Tax act that Wilson shoved down American throats. That was the original breach of the Constitution. And damn skippy, any Act can be repealed simply because of how it was written.
These men were geniuses of their time, I am sure they considered how the Constitution could be changed in a way that destroys freedom.

They repeal it, or the country falls. If Americans allow this to stick it will be just a matter of time before the entire house of cards comes crashing down. This country, and many of its people, will not survive this collectivist nightmare.

ObamaCare is a Trojan Horse designed to destroy private health insurance and usher in a single-payer system, aka socialized medicine.

It will destroy this Republic, guaranteed. How do I know? Because that is exactly what the Progressives want to happen, and it is a pattern that has been repeated many times in human history.

You and your family are indeed doomed if this sticks. Just imagine what the quality of health care will be like under the thumb of civil servants.

    Ever been to the DMV?

How much do you suppose these civil servants will care about you or your loved ones’ health and well-being? YOU are not paying the bill anymore. YOU have no recourse if they screw up and harm or kill you. What are you going to do about it? Who are you going to sue? The ‘kind-hearted’ government goons? Forget about it. You will take what they give you, and like it. This is stone-cold tyranny, as good as it gets.

This will spell the end of America and Americans as you have known them both. One generation having been raised with the ‘all-powerful‘ government ’taking care of’ their bodies and the idea of individual freedom and property rights is but a distant memory; a tale told by old and bitter “Tea Party” members.

Mark my words, this is checkmate if it isn’t repealed. When the light of human freedom goes out in the United States the whole world goes dark–it is inevitable; it is natural.

      You are 100% correct.

Might I suggest something for consideration?

If this somehow “passes” constitutional muster, we’ll know that the fix is in, since it is clearly, glaringly unconstitutional to even a reader with modest comprehension skills. So if it passes, why not simply refuse to comply? Don’t “report” your insurance status, if you don‘t have insurance don’t buy it, and further, don’t pay any fines levied for failure to comply.

It’s a risky strategy. But if enough of us do it, we can overwhelm THEIR system through peaceful non-compliance. Frankly put, they cannot put 1/2 of America in jail, especially not the productive half that is their tax base.

Something to consider. We need to start a No Consent movement the moment it appears that Obama has strong armed or threatened enough people to make this magically “pass” Constitutional muster. And once we start it, we need to spread the word like wildfire.

No consent, no compliance, no surrender. Lives, fortunes and sacred honor, brother.

Ghost, regarding your comment, “…since it is clearly, glaringly unconstitutional to even a reader with modest comprehension skills…”

THAT was the overarching genius of the founding fathers. It wasn’t just that they put together something the world had never seen. It wasn’t that they built a country that made it possible to go from Kill Devil Hills to walking on the moon in less than 70 years. It was that they wrote the Constitution in a manner that the common man of the day could read it and understand it, with no interpretation needed.

There are 3 branches of government, the legislative branch will kill this when it gets to them. He will probably say the same thing when the Supreme Court upholds the federal judges decision, they don’t respect how the government is setup, this means they don’t respect you.
