Gingrich Doubles Down on Calling Romney a ‘Liar’ — Romney Responds: ‘Ready For It’

Iowa caucus day is not without its drama. And much of that drama has focused on comments by Newt Gingrich calling Mitt Romney a “liar” earlier this morning. And he’s not backing away from it. During a follow-up Fox News interview, Newt doubled down on the comments:

“Look, Mitt Romney fails to tell the truth on three levels. He won’t tell the truth about his own record. He’s at best a Massachusetts moderate, not a conservative. He has refused to tell the truth about his super PAC, which is run by his staff and funded by his millionaire friends. And his super PAC runs ads that are just plain lies.”

Watch below:

In the same interview, Newt promised to release five lies that Romney’s super PAC has promulgated. As of publication time, his website, Newt.org, did not have any information on the alleged lies.

As for Romney, he brushed off the attacks in a separate Fox interview.

“I know that it’s always tempting to look for someone else to blame, but at some point you gotta stop and say, what things can I do better?” he said.

He’s also not worried about future attacks.

“If the speaker decides to come after me, that’s part of the process. I’m ready for it,” he said. “If I can’t handle this kind of attack, how in the world would I handle the attack that’s going to come from President Obama?”

You can watch that interview below:

Watching Willard Romney is disturbing !

He flails, he stutters, he stammers….yet, his greasy hair never moves.
He’s trying to emulate Regan with a folksy, apple pie manner
but he comes off looking like a “Ted Bundy” serial nutjob.

      It’s like watching
the “evil twin” battle the “good twin”
      and both are pathetic losers.

America needs a LEADER………Willard Romney can’t answer THAT call.

If Newt can’t handle seeing truth about his past in TV adverts can he handle Obama or Iran or China? Romney is as low as Obama, has to resort to dirty politics and will stop at nothing to get what he wants even if it misleads the American people, just like his mentor Obama- Its time Gingrich and others take off the gloves and start exposing this guy for who he really is- If this guy Romney is the nominee Obama care is off the table and Obama gets another 4 years- and the turncoat Glenn Beck won‘t have to vote 3rd Party because it won’t matter anymore.

I don’t ever want to hear Glenn Beck tell us what danger we will be in if Obama is re elected- when he sat there and said if Gingrich was the nominee he would vote 3rd party, what happen to the boggy man you were telling us about?

And when I hear Bachmann mention Beck supports her in an interview and then she says “say what you mean, mean what you say. Quoting from Beck who meant NOTHING of what he SAID- it just told me she was just like Beck – say it and we will believe it.- No KOOL AID FOR ME PEOPLE.

ROMNEY IS ARROGANT, AND THINKS HE HAS IT IN THE BAG– IF ANY OF THESE CHARACTERS HAVE ANY NUTS – GO AFTER HIM

Romney has basically said “bring it on” on multiple occasions.

Gingrich, by contrast, clearly has an extraordinarily thin skin for a politician. He promised to stay relentlessly positive, but quickly starts whining, moaning, and complaining when he gets attacked. If he drops in the polls that fast from negative ads from fellow Republicans, how does he expect to survive the Obama machine?

      @Freedompurveyor

Romney talks tough because Gingrich has said he wasn’t going to go negative. Wait when Obama compares Romney to himself, they could be twins and

If BECK would spend as much time digging deep into Romneys past as he did Gingrich I think he would find he is just as spooky as Gingrich. Nobody has the nuts to challenge Romney- and he lost the nomination to the old man McCain-

It wasn’t even that he “taught a class” – it was that he didn‘t know he wasn’t allowed to “teach a class” when asked. That’s pretty squeaky clean friend. He also did not leave his first wife. Newt understands what “progressives” are and what Alinsky radicals are doing. He understands them better than they understands themselves. Obama is left with running against Congress — Not a problem since Congress has been 5/6th Democrat over the last 3 years. The Federal Goverment has been 8/9ths DEMOCRAT for the last 3 years!

Paul will never win (irrespective of what Paul die-hards say) and Santorum, as good as a man as he is, is just not the better candidate and people see and understand that reality.
Newt can call out Mitt Romney all he wants..why? because there is legitimately no skeletons in his closet, only 4 years in politics and his record is literally to the right of Newts. To say nothing of his infinitely enviable record in, well… everything.
Public service, volunteer life, private sector, family life, personal life prior to marriage.
Newt started at the whopping age of 16 when he had a sexual affair with his school teacher and over 40 years later – he hasn’t stopped yet!!
So don’t bother…the women whom he had the extra-marital affair with is who he seeks to make our First Lady and he is selfish enough that THAT little tidbit doesn’t seem to trouble him!

Why isn’t Newt calling Ron Paul a liar as well? After all Ron Paul‘s negative Newt ads were really effective and clearly depicted Newt’s hypocrisy. The PACs supporting Romney and Paul’s Newt negative ads were not inaccurate, from most people’s definition of the word truth. Perhaps Newt lives in an alternative universe where the word truth has a different meaning.

Because Paul’s ads were extremely misrepresentative. Paul lost my support over that. Contexts 15 years ago are vastly different than today. Newt has never supported any form of Government takeover of healthcare as Paul’s ads present. A mandate for some form of responsibility in your health services is nothing like obamacare. People going to the emergency room for advil or cough syrup is inexcusable. Not paying at least $5/10/15 copay unless filing for indecency is unacceptable. Passing on $300 emergency bills to the Taxpayers for a small cut or the sniffles is unacceptable.

You ARE making SERIOUS allegations that insinuates Soros is funding Paul. Which i do NOT see any overwhelming evidence. It seems totallly misleading and totally FALSE (propaganda).

Ron Paul joined forces in a bipartisian effort to cut some military spending. SO WHAT?!? He was finding common ground with the other party.

The Blue-republican idea is to get Democrats, who are completely upset and frustrated with Obama, and his failure to ‘end the wars,’ to convert their support behind Paul. The only ANTI-war candidate. Your attempts and slandering allegations need to be looked at in FULL detail. It is nothing more than a ANTI-PAUL bias set of info. There is an absence of substantial facts and concrete evidence. It’s complete hearsay.

And….When It Comes To Closing The Border…Gov Rick Perry Has Been Endorsed By America’s Sheriff….Sheriff Joe
      ==================================================

……….and here is Rick Perry on August 22, 2001 agreeing with Mexico’s President Vincente Fox that we need to have an OPEN BORDER with Mexico:

“President Fox’s vision for an open border is a vision I embrace, as long as we demonstrate the will to address the obstacles to it. ”
-Rick Perry, Border Summit, August 22, 2001

While advancing our interests abroad, Perry believes it is equally important to defend our interests at home by securing our border.

As president, Perry will substantially increase manpower, technology and fencing along the border to protect the American homeland and stop illegal immigration. This strategy has proven effective in Texas, where Gov. Perry has directed nearly $400 million in state tax dollars to do the federal government’s job of securing the border.

Perry will deploy thousands of National Guardsmen to the border until a sufficient number of border patrol agents can be hired and trained. He will order federal officials to expedite construction of strategic fencing, especially in high traffic areas where manpower alone is insufficient to do the job. And he will make greater use of unmanned aerial assets to gather reliable, real-time intelligence that law enforcement can immediately act upon.

Paul was able to garner more than 300 congressman to co-sponsor a bill to audit the Federal Reserve, which included both Democrats and Republicans. The man doesn’t care who the person is, as long as the US Constitution is adhered to.

“I never considered a difference of opinion in politics, in religion, in philosophy, as cause for withdrawing from a friend.” – Thomas Jefferson

He has joined with many to cut spending, here at home and abroad, audit the fed, secure our individual rights, and protect our personal privacy from Government invasion. He has never joined within anyone from the left to advance a Progressive (more Big Government) law or to advance a Marxist agenda. And that is a fact.

Why do Republicans have an easier time calling each other liars, but every time Obama is involved Republicans avoid the word ‘liar’ at all costs? Great we have the guts to trash each other but not the true source of the current fall of America.

Let’s face it, Romney is no conservative. So, if he calls himself a conservative he is not telling the truth.

Newt, shouldn’t you be out trying to obtain your next mistress or comparing yourself to Reagan, instead of flapping your Progressive, lying pie hole in Iowa? You are now quite obviously, the 300lbs RINO in the room…..go home.
