Gingrich Now Reportedly to End Presidential Bid on Wednesday

Newt Gingrich will now end his campaign for president on Wednesday, according to CNN, despite initial reports the former House Speaker would suspend his bid on Tuesday.

A senior campaign staffer had said Gingrich would “more than likely” endorse Mitt Romney when he drops out. The two spoke by phone last week, a Gingrich spokesman told CNN.

Gingrich previously said he would remain in the presidential race until the GOP convention in August. Despite a surge in late 2011, he failed to capture any real momentum once primary season began.

When they pass a law ordering you to the camps and then the gas chamber………how about that?

Ron Paul seeks to bring us back as close to the constitution as possible more than any president has in over 100 years. How exactly do you get more conservative than that?
But you would actually have to read his platform to know that. It is so much easier to be spoon fed by the lying heads. You know…….the ones that have said nothing about the last FIVE states he has won. The ones that claimed everyone won Iowa but Paul……..yeah he won Iowa (most delegates).

I got elected as a Louisiana Delegate Saturday! Pretty Cool. And nobody is reporting that Ron Paul took the STATE OF LOUISIANA. How cool is that! I guess The Blaze is in the tank for Romney too! Just listened to the first half hour of the GB radio show from Friday and there they were shilling for Romney! Talking about how he sounds so Reaganesque. Glen, Glen, Glen. Reads the books, writes the books, connects the dots and still doesn’t get it! It’s all about having the right fool sitting in the White House when they crash the dollar. Obama and Romney are interchangeable shills in this respect. The last guy they want in the Oval Office when the Dollar self destructs is Ron Paul, he would know exactly what to do and they just can’t have that now can they.

Look, do not count Paul out yet. Victory in Alaska, Wins Louisiana, Sweeping in Massachusetts and preparing for a takeover in Nevada. All these things are good news for Paul. Romney does not have the 840 some delegates as the MSM reports. Paul has more than the 79 they report. Paul is set to pick up the majority in several caucus states yet. We still have a ways to go and we still could be looking at a brokered convention. If we have that, all bets are off the table. I know a lot of you do not like that scenario, but anything is possible at this point. To see how the delegate system works, because it matters not if you win the straw poll in these caucus states, watch this video from a Fox affiliate: http://www.fox19.com/story/17768724/reality-check-infighting-at-more-gop-caucuses-and-what-the-msm-wont-tell-you-about-iowa-and-minnesota

There are Paul supporters in the ranks of the bound delegates for Romney, they have to cast for Romney first vote at the convention, if Romney does not get 1144 at the first vote, the delegates are free to vote for anyone. At that poiint, I believe Paul will get over 1144 on the second round. That is just the way it is.

Off Topic but important : Reduction in air pollution from coal fired power stations due to environmental regulations since the 1980s has increased regional global warming in the Central and Eastern United States. Climate scientists from the Harvard School of Engineering and Applied Sciences (SEAS) found that particulate pollution, particularly from coal fired power stations, caused a global warming hole, or a large cold patch reducing temperatures by up to 1 degree C in the region, particularly lowering maximum temperatures in Summer and Autumn.

And so ends the campaign of the only candidate who brought forth real ideas, real solutions, and real intellect to an election cycle that desperately needed someone who could actually make a difference. We needed wine, and again we settled for Welchade. We needed steak, and we settled for hamburger. Gingrich has my gratitude for at least trying to make real change. Romney now has my full support, but my hopes are not high that he’ll make any real difference.

The letter of marque and reprisal is used to KILL, not to scare. It was the republicans and the democrats that worked together to go to war with Iraq, a country that didn’t attack us, instead of killing the people who really did attack us. It was Ron Paul who proposed killing those who attacked us on 9/11. It was the republicans and the democrats, working together, that helped further our national debt by getting us involved in a war against a country that didn’t attack us.

Al-awlaki was an American citizen and, as such, he was afforded due process under the constitution. It doesn’t matter how evil he was. We are all innocent until proven guilty. Allowing the president to assassinate American citizens without due process sets a horrible legal precedent that might be, one day, used against people who speak out against the government or a particular administration. b) he put forward a letter of marque and reprisial to kill members of Al-Qaeda
      c) he put forward a letter of marque and reprisial to kill Somali pirates.

Someone who proposes a means to kill can NOT, by definition, be a pacifist.

If you have a problem with due process, do NOT ever call yourself a constitutionalist. You are either a constitutionalist or you are not, and YOU are not a constitutionalist. Sometimes in defending the constitution, you must take the unpopular side of an issue. Freedom isn’t always pretty. You must be willing to defend the freedoms that you agree with AND the freedoms that you don’t agree with. If you deny one person their due process you are setting a precedent for a future administration to deny others of their due process.

Note that some of the left stream media is beginning to “question” some of the Feds’ like Bernecke and Geitner, etc. Know why? – Because Spain is about to go the way of Greece – and then the EU is in full financial collapse and it will be WORSE for the US then the supposed financial crisis in 2008. Well here is why i think Mitt Romney will lose, not because Obama is super strong but because the Republican party is so divided and many folks cannot stand Romney, to much of the party, lets say you have 20-25% party are Libertarians aka Paul Supporters most of them will never vote for Romney because they see him as Obama which i think he is to. Also the Mormon thing is still an issue with value voters probably 30-40 percent of the party and 1/4 of the country in polls will not vote for one, some polls show 1/5-1/4 of gop is considering to back Obama over Romney. Romney is not a good candidate, he doesn’t connect with people, he can’t distinguish himself from Obama so many voters will just stay home and focus on other elections.

Now for Mitt Romney to drop out, because he will lose to Obama because nobody likes him because hes boring and arrogant. for all the votes hes getting hes getting allot less delegates to match up for it. If some bs happens and Romney gets nomination ignore presidential election and focus on the state and local elections, there more important anyways, states can nullify federal laws anyways and impact your lives daily., you could also focus on GOP take over of senate if you want.

If you want to vote in presidential election and Ron Paul is not on there you can vote libertarian and its likely a great candidate Gary Johnson will get the nomination, hes worth voting for, he has Paul’s positions and hes been a Governor and a Businessman better record the Rombot.

Sir, you live in a fantasy world of your own making. While Paul and Johnson have an admirable respect for the Constitution, neither has any chance of beating 0bama in the general election. The Libertarian Party simply does not have the backing or the money to compete. Unfortunately, a vote for either one only splits the conservative vote, guaranteeing the reelection of the worst President in modern history.

When they get a chance in the general election lets see Ron Paul has the young vote in the hands, he beats Obama in some general election polls, He appeals to minorities like Hispanics, Independents and Democrats like him some, Older folks would be happy with someone not trying to take away their entitlements, many folks like an anti war candidate and with Johnson add experience and social liberalism. all it takes is 15 percent to be on the national state and either of the 2 can reach that to boost themselves for a chance.

@WTSPIKE, you‘re showing your ignorance on the issue if you believe Ron Paul can’t beat Obama. Currently, Ron Paul is the ONLY candidate beating Obama in the Polls, not Romney. But then, if you subscribe to main stream media and don’t do your own investigation, you probably wouldn’t realize that.
