Gingrich: Palin Should ‘Slow Down’ and ‘Think Through What She’s Saying’

In what may be one of the earliest 2012 primary match-ups, former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich appeared on Good Morning America Tuesday morning offered some advice to one of his Republican colleagues, former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin.
Although Gingrich acknowledged Palin as a “phenomenon” for her ability to energize grassroots supporters, the former vice presidential candidate has a lot to learn before she will be considered a serious presidential candidate, Gingrich suggested.
Will Gingrich run in 2012? He’s staying mum for now, but as Stephanopoulos notes, early activity in states like Iowa and New Hampshire seem to suggest he may be getting ready for a big announcement.

Posted on January 18, 2011 at 6:54pmNewt Gingrich is and always will be a beltway traitor to his country. He has visited the culitc Bohemian Grove in California to meet his frat boys! If you do anything, remember 1994-2000! Remember how Newt the traitor lied to Americans through his “Contract with America.” Remember how he had no moral high ground to impeach that traitor Clinton to the fullest extent of the law because Newt himself was having an affair at the time of Clinton’s perjury charges! Newt Gingrich you are a traitor and I will do everything in my power to see that you do not see the light of day! You hypocrite, New World Order-loving scumbag!

Posted on January 18, 2011 at 6:51pmRemember Newt on the couch with Pelosi? Um, yeah.
We could point to so many reasons why Newt and the other Rovians do what they do but ultimately folks. it just comes down to simple lack of character.
Sarah’s brilliant mind is supremely strategic; I think she appreciates the clarifying behaviors of so many in the last ten days: it removes fog from the battlefield.
A jolt of motivation for the temporarily fatigued: Imagine Sarah jumping off a Blackhawk at Bagram in specially designed CinC BDUs, with the Presidential Seals emblazoned on each collar and PALIN above the breast pocket.
Churchillian!

Posted on January 18, 2011 at 6:51pmConfirmed ethics violator Newt needs to stay in retirement and off the air, growing a garden or something since he can thanks to that hefty pension retired Congresscritters receive. He shamed his own Party (I’m not a Pub, BTW), and the conservative movement as well. He’s just another smug elitist trying to make himself relevant again.
His chances of beating Obow in 2012 are no better than Palin’s, even if he managed to get the nomination.

Posted on January 18, 2011 at 6:49pmI can think of a few times when I‘ll bet Newt wishes he’d slowed down and thought it through before opening his gaping maw. Like, “There era of Reagan is over.” Sarah Palin scares the hell out of the lefties and nothing could make me happier. Don’t let anyone scare you away from supporting one of the most genuine American patriots this country has seen SINCE Reagan. Palin/Bachmann ‘14

Posted on January 18, 2011 at 6:49pmI am so over everyone analyzing Palin. She is a CONCERNED American and has the same rights as he does to voice her opinion. Right and Left will make sure she never gets in office. They know she would turn DC upside down as if she was cleaning out her purse and they won’t have it!!! Does not matter if it is her!! She, along with the help of many others will eventually break up politics as usual!! then and only then will we get our country back!!

Best that you just retire and go to teaching high school history classes where you can be more useful and have an audience. Don’t let the door hit you in the A** on the way out. .

Report Post »DagnysCousin
Posted on January 18, 2011 at 6:52pmAgreed, Politicians don’t know how to handle those who are open, honest and don’t censure everything they say through a political lense, focus group or push poll. Newt needs to stop playing politics and get serious – quick – about fixing the problems in our country if he wants to be involved. The time for the politics of old are over! We cannot afford to allow our politicians to continue to play this game and it’s time the players woke up or get ejected.
