Gingrich: WikiLeaks Founder Is an ‘Enemy Combatant’

It seems like everyone these days is calling for the head of the Wikileaks folks. Author Brad Thor alluded to it Monday and Bill O’Reilly said something similar yesterday, too. Now, possible presidential hopeful Newt Gingrich is saying that the Wikileakers should be called “enemy combatants” and treated as such. The last time I checked, enemy combatants don’t have a long shelf life.
Here’s Gingrich talking about it to Greta Van Susteren:

Posted on December 1, 2010 at 9:50pmI don’t think anybody in Washington would know what an enemy combatant would look like even if it blew them up! They would think they were just misunderstood! This would be funny if it didn’t mean real life or death of Americans. If they don’t know that Americas SAFETY is one of their jobs, someone should clue them in. What would be a deterant to these fools! Any ideas! Call Russia, they know how to deal with wiki leaks! Bye Bye!

Posted on December 1, 2010 at 7:33pmWikiLeaks founder, Julian Assange is your typical mindless do-gooder and, his passive militant actions are those of one who isn’t smart enough to realize or care about the consequences. Bradley Manning is a mentally dysfunctional malcontent who has been convinced that his actions are somehow justified. Both of these guys are dupes to a central manipulator who must be sought out and destroyed.
Report Post »Some of you who have speculated that it might be George Soros, or someone like him may not be far off.
At any rate, Assange and Manning are not the end of the investigation.

Posted on December 1, 2010 at 7:27pmI don’t like the treason of the Manning jerk, and I don’t like dumping military and war secrets, but this bank stuff which purports to expose scams and thievery of our money by politicians and big shots makes me furious. As the Democrat scuzzball Marxists scream about the filthy rich paying more taxes….their fair share….ha….the ‘club’, be it Mafia, Soros, or Bank of America is scooping up the future prosperity of our kids and grandkids. I want to see some jail time for these pigs. …..and why is the Fed giving money to foreign banks and governments? Like we have any money.

Posted on December 1, 2010 at 7:18pmI respect Gingrich, but I think he is a status quo politician. A very smart man, but Washington has changed him.
Remember him on that “Global Warming” commercial sitting on a couch next to Nancy “Mussolini” Pelosi? He is a compromiser, a man that wants to reach across the isle. The problem with reaching across the isle is that he would be reaching out to socialists. I want free market economics not quasi-socialism or the new term “state capitalism”. I don’t want what we have had for the last 20 years – moderation and compromise, I want solutions.
We don’t have a boo boo, we have a gaping wound; we need surgeons not band aids. Gingrich offers band aids.

I agree, the kid couldn’t have done it by himself (not enough clearance) but there are idiots out there who have access to a ton of info, and forget to pw their computer while they just “step out for a moment” to visit the bathroom.
I know -I’ve seen it time and time again – not in the military but in business. My boss (and business owner) walks out of his office for a bathroom break, gets side tracked when someone asks him a question, in the mean time, his computer is left wide open. I repeatedly mentioned this to him but he didn’t seem to care. That is until I went in his office, and changed his password. When he couldn’t log in and threw a fit, I told him what I had done. He threatened to fire me over it until I reminded him of all the times he’s left his computer “unguarded”. NOW he takes precautions. I could have downloaded EVERYTHING about the company but I didn’t. I also pointed out to him that the log file would tell him if I had done anything else (then had to show him how it worked) and proved I hadn’t done anything other than change his pw.
Just because a computer has security software installed, doesn’t mean the computer is secure. If not used PROPERLY the software is just another junk program!

Posted on December 1, 2010 at 7:21pmI guess he turned the corner from the days when he was found guilty of violating multiple counts of ethics violations in the House and was fined a record $300K. I guess he also turned the corner from when he left his first wife while she lay dying of cancer, having asked his second wife to marry him before delivering that news, and then a few years ago doing the same thing to his second wife, also when she was diagnosed with a serious illness. Yep. I think you are pretty fair and balanced in assessing Gingrich versus the Democratic leadership like Pelosi and Reid. Nice to see that you base your opinions on facts rather than merely on the basis of what team they play for. I prefer to be rabidly biased about the NFL, and then principled about my government’s leadership. I wish people on this site would start to do the same.
Gingrich is a politician. Everything he says is calculated to get the desired reaction. Yours is the unthinking one that he is counting on.

Watch for activity of Soros on these banks – Bank of America, Wells Fargo, and JP Morgan Chase. At least two of these seem to be vulnerable to the style of attack made by Soros. Another suggestion is to cross check with each bank if they hold stock in gold companies, or have small reserves of gold itself they would have to rapidly sell off if a collapse or sudden losses were scored against them.
Look for the sources of weakness from within the bank, and the pressure from the outside Soros uses to collapse things his direction.
From what google and yahoo searching I can see (under – most vulnerable banks; Soros and bank of america, and along those lines) Bank of America is the most likely to be the first to fall.
In the case with the President now cutting off drilling in the east coast oil fields; think on this as well, wikileaks mentioned going out with info on a major pharmacutical company – petrolium byproducts are one of the common elements, used in certain medication manufacturing.
Seek one or more large ones that have a link to such as BP, or other large oil exploration and development companies…there will be the next set of targets for Soros after the banks.

An important aspect of the intel field is what’s called compartmented information. Kinda goes along the line of “need to know”. Regardless of the fact of my high security clearance, unless I had a need to know, I did not have access to other intel. Now what I want to know is, how did a Private First Class (E3) have access to so much information, each of which would have been compartmentalized? He would not have had access! Only someone much further up in the ranks, wether government or military, would have such broad access to such information. This little PFC is just the tip of the iceberg, a fall guy. We need to look deeper at how this info was leaked.
