‘Glee’ Takes More Shots at Conservatives, Bashing Palin, Tea Partiers

It’s no secret that the hit TV show Glee panders to PC liberal buzz-themes, which has led to repeated conservative bashing on the show in the past. From Newsy:
It was a perfect pairing, then, when last night the show hosted comedian Kathy Griffin as a guest-star. Why? Because Griffin has made it her day job to bash Sarah Palin. Last night, Griffin took it to a new level, playing a losing tea party politician modeled off of Sarah Palin, with hints of Christine O’Donnell in there.
Predictably, Griffin’s character was a hate-mongering, homophobic, birther. Acting as a judge in a glee club competition, Griffin’s character discounts the idea of voting for a homo-friendly glee club performance because “Boys shouldn’t do a duet. The last thing we need to do is to send a message to children that ‘gay is ok.’ It is not a legitimate lifestyle, and it is not in the Constitution”:
For what it’s worth, Palin has hinted that she supported the repeal of “Don‘t Ask Don’t Tell.” Beyond that, she also defended the participation of GOProud, a gay group, at the annual conservative pep-rally otherwise known as CPAC–this, when other prominent social conservatives were denouncing GOProud’s inclusion in CPAC.
But don’t expect this to deter the writers of Glee. Beyond being a ratings behemoth geared toward a younger audience, it’s also riding the liberal agenda bandwagon.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I really don‘t have the time or inclination to go into all that’s wrong with your question.
However, GIVE SOME EXAMPLES OF HATE from Glenn Beck and Sean Hannity, okay? That is a misrepresentation of their message. Just because YOU hate the TRUTH, that doesn’t mean that the TRUTH itself is HATE.
What’s wrong? Ever heard of the term “brainwashing?” Have you ever wondered why the schools are being dumbed down? Have you ever wondered why God has been removed from schools? Ever wondered why the unions protest in mob fashion? Have you ever had a sober thought in your life? Or a realistic one?
If you want to give credit to a show for politics bashing, give it to Boston Legal. It’s smart, witty, and funny. It brings up all conservative and liberal points of view–it makes all political sides feel good, especially with the bond of extreme liberal and conservative Alan Shore and Denny Crane, who are best friends (flamingos). Don’t give Glee ANY publicity. Just stick with the oldies: Boston Legal. A REAL TV show.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Not surprising, WTP. It must be a show that is low enough in quality for liberals to understand.
If it teaches tolerance, don’t you think the unions should be watching it? Not just the young?
A half million people were at the Lincoln Memorial to be at Beck’s Restoring Honor. Not one person was arrested. Not one scrap of paper was left when it was over. And, at 10:00 a.m., when it started, God sent the geese in V formation over the people, straight up the Mall. I have the video in my downloads file.
I am not favorably impressed by the union goons or their violence, vulgarity, or bullying. Those things I absolutely stand against. We older folks were educated by teachers who WANTED to TEACH, not who wanted to brainwash. Teachers today are more interested in what they can get for themselves, not how much knowledge they can impart to their students, not to instill in them the interest of wanting to learn more after they graduate.
The purpose of a college education is not to learn facts. The purpose of a college education is to learn how to find facts for oneself. The liberal colleges are pushing liberalism, and the students are not getting their money’s worth for their education.

I suspect the reason Palin’s “approval ratings,” so to speak, have gone down is that she has proven that she is an attention whore. She strangely stepped down as Alaska’s governor, has not acquired any more political experience since, and now she feels the need to give her two cents on absolutely everything — she is no expert, only a Tea Party darling for some unfortunate reason. Palin and Bachmann seem to be competing for the title of TP queen. She ignorantly criticized Chris Christie as if they were already battling it out in the Republican primaries. While hardcore conservatives may still find her politically attractive, moderate conservatives and anti-GOP independents within the TP are surely less than thrilled with her behavior. Sarah Palin is extremely polarizing and a conservative liability, but like any politician, she desires power, so she is not going to back down for the good of the movement.
The downfall of the Tea Party has been its members’ selling-out to the GOP and their unwillingness to compromise AT ALL on ideals for the sake of formulating a realistic and effective political strategy.

Posted on March 17, 2011 at 1:57amYou know, Kathy Griffin was performing in Alaska. She actually wen to to Palin’s house and knocked on her door, but Sarah And Todd hid inside and wouldn’t answer the door. True story. Typical right wing blowhards, those two, not a shred of genuine courage or principle or patriotism to be found in Wasilla.
