Glenn Beck Was Used as a ‘Jeopardy’ Question on Thursday — But Was It Too Easy?

If you were watching the long-running TV game show “Jeopardy” on Thursday, you might have seen a familiar face. That’s because Glenn Beck was featured as an answer to a question (or is it a question to an answer?). See for yourself below and see if you could have answered it correctly:
On radio Friday, Beck and his co-hosts debated whether the question (or is it the answer?) was too easy considering a picture of Beck flashed on the screen. Your thoughts?

Posted on April 27, 2012 at 10:10pmThe producers were really hoping nobody knew the answer but the fact is he is almost as widely recognized as some of the biggest celebrities today and much of it is because of the left’s very own efforts to demonize him. Much like why Sarah Palin is so widely known.

At least say something of value and substance rather than just venting as an anonymous coward. Give examples! Give dates and times of what was said and when it was said and how it is wrong! Really! Or be quiet! Or leave the others alone at least! Great thing about a free country is you are free to agree and disagree and to walk AWAY when you disagree!

Posted on April 27, 2012 at 12:59pmThe problem is, Mrs. M, that Beck says so many things that aren’t true that one would end up wasting an entire Friday evening compiling an endless list. My urge to spend this evening in the bosom of my family is stronger than my desire to educate Beck fans, regardless of how intense that desire is (plus I realize how impossible that would be anyway). So sorry, I’ll gladly take a rain check on that one, but the meantime, “do your own research” as even Glenn himself says (knowing full well, as he does, that nobody will), consult independent sources etc. and you will undoubtedly find literally miles worth of reliable info. Have an enjoyable evening :)

OR OR OR how he constantly complains that “George Soros” is behind everything, even though donating money to organizations isn’t the same thing as directly controlling them. And how his whole point on how evil George Soros is is through pointing out Soros took down the economies of four countries, while casually avoiding the fact that the four countries were Soviet-aligned Communist regimes whose governments he brought down to assist in the liberation of the people (even though they‘re worse off now because they’re all corporate mafia-ocracies, but that’s besides the point).

Posted on April 27, 2012 at 5:23pmGood job, Vox, for counter-acting one of the Blaze suppression tactics for opposing views: the “what’s your source”. Funny how the true believers don’t do their own research like Mr. Beck directs them. The other tactics are the “prove him wrong”, a logical fallacy, the widely used ad hominem attack, and the “discount the source” (anything other than the Blaze or Fox). Funny how everyone liked Politifact when the Blaze ran a story about how they called Rachel Maddow out on some of her statements, but don’t believe it when it comes to Mr. Beck.
The genius of Mr. Beck is his self-depreciating “well, don’t take my word for it” as he demagogues and affirms his true believers’ pre-conceived notions and prejudices, knowing good and well that once people get the red meat they’re looking for, they won’t question it. Manipulation 101
Credit to Mrs. M, also, for considering other points of view before making up her mind.

Posted on April 28, 2012 at 8:13am@MrsM, I have been giving examples.
Stakellbeck’s credentials? Worked as a sports analylist, then became a terror expert for the CBN overnight. I can’t find anything, education, security clearance, military service, etc. that suggests he’s an “expert”.
Historian David Barton has a BA in “religious education” from Oral Roberts University. Has never defended a thesis from true historians.
General Boykin – Now here’s a man who has credentials… But let’s look at his story, shall we? Led missions two botched missions in Muslim countries. (Iran and Somalia) Whipped up on Grenada and Panama. Received a purple heart… which I salute. His religous rhetoric has landed him in some hot water. He can’t speak at West Point. Now think about that… an Army General who can’t speak at the Army College… So he’s a super religous zealot who had his butt handed to him by some dirka dirkas. I’m thinking, with him, it could be personal and believe he has a hard time being objective.
Rabbi Lappin is connected to the Abramoff-Reed casino scandal.
GB asked us to do our homework and not trust his word on anything. I did. Sorry that angers you.
