Glenn Beck Responds to Van Jones’ Threats With Direct Message: ‘I Know What You are Capable Of’

Van Jones was speaking at the Green Festival in Chicago this past weekend and sparked yet another controversy.

The former White House insider seemed to take great pleasure in announcing that his opponents should be more worried about him now that he has been inside 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue and is back out on the streets. To quote Mr. Jones:

Subtle hint, (unintelligible) Don‘t ever let somebody like me in the White House and then insist that I come back out here with y’all… Because now, we can make this thing work.

After Jones finished his speech, a credentialed member of the press asked for further clarification. Van Jones refused to answer and the reporter was escorted from the event and had his press pass pulled.

The veiled warning from Jones was a concern to Glenn Beck, and during his nightly television show seen on GBTV, Beck showed Jones’ somewhat cryptic threat. Mr. Beck also responded and delivered a special message of his own to the 9/11 Truther:

Van, I know exactly who you are. I know what you are capable of. I have studied you as much as you have studied me…

Beck also told to Jones (and the GBTV audience) that Beck, too, was now free to accomplish the things he knows “need to be done.”

In fact, last night Beck announced a special block of four television shows that will lay out his action plan for the immediate future. The special shows will kick off June 4th and, according to Mr. Beck, will be bold, inspiring, and frightening. The plans include more details on this summer’s 7.28 “Restoring Love” event and programs leading up to (and through) the November elections. And they will incorporate the all elements of Beck’s E4 program (Enlightenment, Education, Empowerment, & Entrepreneurship).

In case you missed last night’s Glenn Beck Program on GBTV, the response to Jones was part of a segment about Communists and Marxists inside the Obama administration. The entire segment is worth watching, but Beck’s direct message to Jones starts about the 5:00 mark.

    What they want now is chaos…..a reason to drop the hammer “executive” style. watch for a hot summer. they don’t care who gets hurt or dies as long as the point gets made. The poor blacks have never been able to see past the rhetoric. They are bold in their arrogance, but careless.

      The PIVEN strategy and tactics for VOTE FRAUD are really getting to me.
      Why is this creep in a signing ceremony photo – and also advocating that students don’t pay their loans, and people ought to occupy houses. Sounds like SDS or maybe the Weather Underground. What the heck is she doing writing ANY laws ? That is really astounding. She is all about CANCELLING OUR VOTES. That is intolerable.
      These are not misguided idealists, or ‘liberals in a hurry’. It is over the top and in our face. We need to make a really big stink about this. I sure hope that Levin asks where the lawyers are on this. I sure hope that Rush exposes this threat. And I really hope that the entire Tea Party has a look at the articles on PIVEN at Accuracy In Media, and American Thinker, and elsewhere. And thank the folks who did the research.
      Whatever law PIVEN wrote ought to be REPEALED right now. And everyone who voted for it ought to be reprimanded. Those behind it need to be hounded out of office.

      You are right about that. I believe that Obama‘s timing on first Janet Napolitano’s ‘accidentally released’ report on potential extreme right wing extremists was odd, coming out within a few months after he was sworn in. Then his timing for his executive order for ‘Peacetime Martial Law’ was weird, too, seeing he issued that on Mar. 16, & Travyon Martin was shot by Mr. Zimmerman on Feb. 26…just within 3 wks. after. But did we hear much about Trayvon when it happened. I don’t recall hearing much at all, if anything. But then suddenly and mysteriously, it became a hot topic that started racial tensions and now retaliations against white people by blacks. How perfect for Obama, especially if it appears he can’t win in Nov. I look for increase nudging at racial unfairness, etc. will become bigger, especially if Mr. Zimmerman would be found NOT GUILTY, but not sure when his trial will be. It won’t matter if it was in self-defense that Mr. Zimmerman shot Trayvon, but if found NOT GUILTY, all hell will let loose with the outcry that Mr. Zimmerman got away with murdering a black man because he was white,.even if evidence shows strongly that it was self-defense. How perfect to just start letting things get hotter racially not too long before the election, then no elections, or if he can’t pull that off, then it will happen before Jan. 20, 2013 when the new president is sworn in should Obama lose!!!!! It takes awhile, but eventually the networks report on the evolving situations like they appeared out of the blue. Its like they put his findings in a vault to be used on the date of the event.

      Chnswstr, I think the MSM tried to make it look as if Glenn wasn’t important, his new network wouldn’t matter, etc. but if that was true, they’d totally ignore him and we all know they do not. They very much pay attention to what he says and does–as with other conservative speakers/workers. They KNOW Truth/Information is POWER. And it threatens/frightens them because it can interfere with their plans/agenda.

      Love the kids, who is disputing that? Glenn didn’t. Glenn said he knows of what Van Jones is capable. He seems to have Van’s “number” so to speak (although apparently not the phone sort. . . ;-) ).

      Glenn has always said Van Jones is a dangerous man (to the country’s best interests). I think it’s funny though that Van Jones goes and tries to sound mysterious and “rough, tough, and threatening,” but when then asked about something HE brought up himself, stated publicly, he acts as if the question isn‘t a fair one and even goes to the extent of pulling a reporter’s press pass. If he didn’t want to be questioned about it, why bring it up in the FIRST place?!? Is it because he just couldn’t resist? He thinks himself so clever, he just HAD to tip his hand–if at least a little?!?

      Another thought could be: maybe he is all “huff and puff” but really doesn‘t have a clue how he’s going to go about “blowing the house down” after all. . .?

    I find myself tiring of the saber rattling. Everyone knows Jones is a hot head communist. He speaks without obfuscation. He‘s clear about what he hates and how he’s going to lie to get what he wants. If you miss that, you deserve to be ruled.

    I almost want all these radicals to get their revolution on so we can be done with it. I don’t think they know how large a response it would bring.

    Van Jones gave a humorous speech. Glenn, who bought himself a prop Oval Office and then sits himself (in a respectful jacket and tie) to make comments “that President’s“ should be making says that the removal of an obnoxious and anonymous ”journalist” (read blogger) by an organization that didn’t want its speakers harassed is a threat to Glenn? And Glenn, of course, fires back that he is more dangerous after being dismissed from mainstream media, too. This article says Glenn has some new plans and objectives. Well, I’m sure that most people with delusions of grandure have their plans. Go ahead and launch them, Glenn. The world probably won’t notice any more than it noticed your “standing with Israel”.

      The blogger didn’t harrass…he questioned…he asked for clarification. He was not answered at all. He was evicted.
      Beck is noticed, is reasonable, is clear about what he thinks is in the future, about how best to respond to the growing threats and the complacency and complicity of our government.
      It would appear by your response that you are either naive or complicit in aiding and abetting the destruction of the constitutional republic of the United States. Make no mistake…we are in a “battle” for freedom and liberty. I don’t worry about what they can do to me in THIS life, it’s what bowing to them in this life will make of me and how that will affect my life on the other side of the veil that concerns me. That’s why I am quite willing to stand up to them. If they kill me, they can only do it once.
