Glenn Beck Unveils ‘Anonymous for Good’

Many of you may be familiar with the hacking-collective “Anonymous” and the group’s use of a computer synthesized voice often featured in its various initiatives.

Playing on the group’s theme, Glenn Beck launched a video ad of his own entitled, “Anonymous for Good.” He previewed the video on Tuesday evening’s episode of The Glenn Beck Program.

“This is a message from goodness,” the computerized voice begins, adding that we the people “have been silent” and “complacent” for too long while evil has ravaged the country and world at large.

The ad posits that this evil has infiltrated schools, the media, churches and religious doctrine and even our homes, thus destroying and perverting all the good such institutions once held.

But “as darkness grows we are waking up” the video reassures, adding that we “won’t sit idly by” as our communities are taken over by darkness.

“It is time to shine a light” and “take stand.”

In closing, the ad proclaims that “we are goodness” and “random acts of kindness.”

“We are everywhere. Expect us.”

    I get your posts, but I did not watch this video or read article.

    DId you see the Video on MS-GLENNBC posts ?

    I thought we all knew this alreasdy, but it is nice for his fans to see how
    demonic they can be.

    Genny and team have already taken credit for the takedown, but keep it on the down low now days.

    It is still in archives if you want to go look it up.

    It was the “we are not going to give you GOTCHA questions” then asked him gotcha questions with those wonderful recordings.

    I still don’t think NEWT was upset with what he said, nor was I.

    Yeah, NEWT could be up 2-1 in states, and RICK S coud be out of this already if he HAD not done so well in IOWA.

    I am actually glad this is all coming out, NOW, and when NEWT was hoping to fight back to the top, and BECKY getting NAILED by his own viewers after crapping on them, it has been amazing to see the DIRT BAD return in full force.

    He is starting to back off, because it is costing him some money.

    Going with OBAMA “lite” SLUR and praising NEWT for some good things.

    Some of the best minutes on his show now are due to NEWT flushing out some things (Saul Alyinski), and pushing back on the MSM, and Beckster taking credit like he does (another story, see Breitbart) for others hard work.

    I have seen more LIES on HUCKSTERS show the last 2 months than all of his shows the last 4 years.
    Panic has set in, and his EGO is getting slammed by his own fans!.

      I believe he’s lost 50k of us so far. People are seeing through his lies and are taking it to him. Hopefully we can wake up enough or slow Beck’s roll enough to stop Mittens. I will post around the web until we achieve it or he is left with just the cult of personality types.

      Hey, 13th gen – Glenn is taking on Anon because they DESERVE to be taken on. He is mocking them with his message of good vs their message of evil. I LOVE it.       The original intent of the Anonymous movement was the theory that anyone can use the anonymous flag to shield their activities. Anonymous is no one, anonymous is everyone, anonymous is Legion.

      Some may think that anonymous has now morphed into a specific group with a specific ideology set. While a certain segment of society may even actually believe they are anonymous, it only makes the original intent stronger. With a specific group hijacking the original intent, it provides those using the anonymous shield with even more anonymity.

      Anonymous won’t be upset with Glenn using the anonymous “brand”, at least not those in touch with the original intent.

      Sounds like psycho-babble, but at least to me, this is the philosophy of the anonymous movement.

      Anonymous is not a “hacker group”. Anytime I read or watch a media outlet stating “the hack group Anonymous” I laugh a bit. There is no group. It doesn’t exist. You can be anonymous if you like. The person writing the article can be anonymous. Your garbage man, your accountant, your doctor, your teacher, your student, your waiter, your customer…ANYONE…is anonymous. That’s the whole idea. Anonymous is an idea, not a group. While anonymous is publicized in the hacker realm…anonymous exists in EVERY industry.

      If Glenn wants to use the anonymous shield, he can, because anonymous can also be Glenn Beck. Anonymous can also be those who slander anonymous. That’s the beauty of it. Anonymous can be the CIA, anonymous can be the Muslim Brotherhood. Anonymous is your brother, anonymous is your sister. Stop thinking of anonymous as a specific group, it isn’t.

      The character Tyler Durden put it best with:
      Look, the people you are after are the people you depend on: we cook your meals, we haul your trash, we connect your calls, we drive your ambulances, we guard you while you sleep.

      Actually, KevinTampa… Anonymous IS a hacker group… at least a script kiddie group. Their reference to IRC, multiple web page defacements and use of DDOS attacks on federal/private websites/services is testament to that. Why is it that when they make threats, they always target websites or information obtained on the internet? Because that’s what they do…

    If this country were a game of chess, freedom is down to only the king left. Where as global authoritarianism has both rooks and the queen. Now, please read in full. We can move to the square of peace but we’re going to be brutally slaughtered. However, we could also move to the square of violent revolution in which we will probably be more brutally and painfully slaughtered.
    Although, this board has a different square. The square that is up, which is called faith. Faith in God is the only thing that can get us out of this. Unfortunatly for this country, although many people claim to be of faith, they aren’t. Thus unless there’s another “Great awakening” and people change for the better, we are completely fudged.       As for Mitt Romney. There’s simply no real dirt on him. He has kept his nose clean his whole life. Unlike Newt, Mitt Romney has lived successfully according to his conservative beliefs and values. I can’t think of a better candidate.       Conversely, the way for Mitt to win is to prop up Rick as much as possible. Mark my words, Rick drains about 10% away from Newt. It won‘t be a match even with Mitt’s millions if Rick leaves the race.

      He is countering everything that is dark and eventually accepted…by us. The point is, he is standing up in his way. No one completely owns any idea and don’t even talk about stealing ideas, have you watched television.

      Watch Anonymous and I mean watch Anonymous. I believe the entity is not what we have been lead to believe (gamers, foreign gamers, criminal hackers etc.) and it is really scary. I won’t say anything on this site about them, but if you watch where they go and then observe their communications, you might catch what I have. I wonder if GB sees this too? Seems to me he goes all out when he understands who and why.

    I am sorry.
    I love lots of Glenn’s ideas and have been inspired by him. But this is real beyond the pale, not only does the co-opting of a terror organization make me raise my eyebrow… I am sorry it is also a silly and stupid idea. Yes, we need to spread love, hope, faith and charity throughout our communities. I am on board with that. But the dispersal method like this sounds so cheesy and so stupid that WHAT IS A GOOD MESSAGE is being lost by the messanger.
    It’s my central complaint with Glenn. Yes, the messaage is important. But how we spread the message is important too. By using a hacker group and ridiculing them, we lose the focus of that very message.
    That Blazers, is why Glenn fails.

      ? Wouldn’t it be surprising if the way Glenn talks about Newt is linked into the messaging problem I have with him. I do support Newt, because I think Romney is inspring as a glass of lukewarm milk, Santorum, while a passionate candidate, can’t win. And Paul is… well Paul. Even he has trouble seeing himself in the White House. So I don’t mind Glenn going after Newt, but the way he says it drives me nuts. He drives away the very people whose minds he is trying to change.

    I said Beck was losing it. Sorry but Beck has completely lost it. Anonymous are a bunch of lib hacker terrorists to say the least. Also they fail to deliver 90% of the time. Not a group I would ever want to identify with. I don’t know if Beck is so isolated by fame, and political correctness now that he doesn’t even know reality anymore, or if his head has gotten so big it has exploded, but the Beck we once knew has completely changed into something else. I really feel betrayed Glenn. I supported you for years when friends would laugh at me. You were right about a lot of things. But just in the past few months you have radically changed into something I want no part of. I can already tell people will flee from you, and hopefully it will bring you back to reality. This is just sad.

      The problem is who is a terrorist, and who is a patriot? A matter of perspective, and I guess it depends if they hack your website, or your bank account. How long can you trust an anonymous terrorist?

      I don’t have an opinion on the Video one way or the other, but it is disturbing when someone voices their opinion opposite of Glenn Beck, they are called a troll and asked to leave. Kind of Cult like. This site asks you to state what’s on your mind and that is what everyone should be able to do without having insults thrown because the view is different than yours. The Blaze has many different news stories that have nothing to do with Glenn Beck so to suggest a person should leave because of their view of GB is just plain wrong.

      Great, do I now have to worry about the hacker group stealing my credit card info from the GBTV database? They hacked Sony and gave out info of thousands from their “secure servers”. ANON gets easily offended when their alleged ideas are plagiarized, much less their name and motif.

      Oh please Jimmy. Have you even read up on that “hack”? I‘m assuming you’re referring to the PlayStation network “hack”. The sad fact is that Sony was sending all kinds of personal information over their network completely unencrypted. Anyone with a slight knowledge of computer networking and a packet sniffer could’ve “hacked” the Sony network. It was down for so long because they actually had to implement real security, something they hadn’t bothered to do from the get go.

      Most companies are not nearly as brain dead on security as Sony. The Sony rootkit and Playstation network “hack” are two prime examples. It’s also the big reason why I do my best not to support any of their companies (I don’t buy music they produce or any of the products they make).

    Wow, co-opting a leftist terror organization’s style and brand for his own use. Seems pretty abhorrent. Might as well name it Hezbollah for Good. It doesn‘t make effective satire and it doesn’t weaken the image of Anonymous. Seems like a terrible mistake. Seems like Glenn Beck isn’t taking the “anarchist” commie cyber-terrorists seriously. Especially considering the damage Anonymous has done this is actually quite sickening.
