Glenn’s Crazy Conspiracy? Senior Member of Egypt’s Muslim Brotherhood Seeks Egypt Presidency!

CAIRO – A senior member of Egypt’s Muslim Brotherhood unveiled a bid on Thursday, May 12, to run for the country’s presidential elections.

“I will run as an independent candidate in the coming presidential elections,” Abdel-Moneim Abul-Futuh told Reuters.

“I am not a member of any party now.”

A doctor by profession, Abul-Futuh, 60, is currently secretary-general of the Arab Doctors Union.

He holds an MA in hospital management and an LLM from Cairo University’s Faculty of Law.

Abul-Futuh is a member of the Brotherhood’s Shura Council, but not the 16-member governing body.

By unveiling his presidential bid, Abul-Futuh will join a long list of candidates for Egypt’s top post.

Leading among presidential hopefuls are outgoing Arab League chief Amr Moussa and former chief of the UN nuclear watchdog Mohamed ElBaradei.

A poll published on April 22 in the state-run Ahram newspaper showed Abul-Futuh and Moussa, with the highest voter support at 20 percent, while ElBaradei had 12 percent support.

      The syrians and lebanese were once one people before the western colonizers divided them up.Syrians have lebanese relatives as do all Arabs in those lands have relatives in other “countries” created by the west.We created and supported these dictators for our own [and Israels] interests .No wonder an Alquada rose up to defend the people from oppressive brutal regimes who did our bidding.Christian and Muslims [and Jews] lived in harmony before Israel and western colonialism favored Christians over Muslims and hence unequal policies were inacted by these western agents.We should intervene on behalf of the Syrian people if we really believe in democracy and human rights.The Muslim brotherhood is not a threat to democracy or Christians,The conflicts now occuring in Eghpy are the legacy of unequal policies and personal vendettas between Christian and Muslims famuilies.Democracy is messy and these tensions do not impede a just society taking hold in Egypt or Syria.

      You’re wasting your time there. All the facts and information out there is known, except they’re disregarded as not being relevant to the argument. They do only enough research, as it were, until the investigation confirms the conclusion.

      The same people who complain and protest about a ‘glass ceiling’ here totally ignore the executions of rape victims for adultery over there. They ignore how little girls are sold as wives at age 11 over there. They gasp at the notion of sleep deprivation to gain military intel, but remain silent when an entire family including a 3-month-old infant are slashed to death. Or they find a ‘just cause’ for nearly decapitating that baby.

      Just for your own head, save your time. It’s pointless debating someone whose mind is already made up to the point of being a propagandist and apologist for barbarians.

      Don’t think any of are trying to tell Egypt what to do. Most of us feel sorry for what they are GOING to go through. It is not going to be what the news media has proclaimed it to be. If you want a glimpse of what is in store for them, find a Bible and read Isaiah 19th chapter. (Whatever happens to the forefathers will happen to the children–everything goes in cycles) You should be really careful what you ask for, because sometimes Jehovah honors your request…….with all of it’s ramifications!

      Oh, did I read this wrong? Has this guy already been elected World Caliph? Has he instantly become the religious and political overlord of all the world? Has he used his alliances with the communist party, weather underground and the SEIU to force Sharia law onto Western Europe and the United States?

      Whoops… He is only a doctor who used to be in the only other political organization in Egypt under Mubarak and he has announced his candidacy for a democratically elected position. Beck is not “right.” This is a far cry from his doom and gloom scenario.
