Initially, Glenn Beck reacted to Osama bin Laden’s death with humor. But later in the morning he turned his attention to the big picture and what this means for the enduring memory of 9/11. To that end, he played a 9/11 tribute that not only brought tears to the eyes of some in his audience (I know — I was one of them), but also Glenn himself.

Our Navy SEALs and all branches of the military deserve many kudos and our eternal thanks for their super Intel and training the past years – our thanks to those who lost their lives and to their families who still suffer their loss can never be enough.

He was right…what more could the firemen, policemen, first responders, and volunteers do to find more bodies buried under the rubble. How many more of them should have lost their lives to be good enough? The same with the Katrina people who were still complaining years later. What can we do about a natural disaster or whackjobs who fly planes into buildings? Would you have gone in the rubble to search for more bodies?

Yesterday, when I saw the ATM cards being handed out, the $2,000 ATM cards, and they were being handed out at the Astrodome. And they actually had to close the Astrodome and seal it off for a while because there was a near-riot trying to get to these ATM cards. My first thought was, it‘s not like they’re going to run out of the $2,000 ATM cards. You can wait! You know, stand in line. Maybe it‘s because I’m the kind of guy, when I go to a buffet, I either have to be first in line, or I’m the very last. Because I know there’s going to be extra food, and I just won’t stand in the line. I’ll wait until all the suckers go get their food, and then I’ll go get mine. Or if I’m really hungry, I hate to admit this — and really, I don’t even have to be really hungry. If I’m really being a pig, I will kind of, like, hang out around the buffet table before the line is — you know, chat with people right around the table: “Oh, they just opened the line! Let’s go!” And then you’re first in line.”

I felt my heart start to beat faster, my breathing increase and tears forming in my eyes. Each day we need to pray for our country and the men and women who keep us safe, both here and abroad, and pray that it is not too late to save her from those who are trying to destroy her from within. I think he is trying to be a good Christian and love his brother…..I will NOT give any respect, credit, praise etc.. to this president. That speech last night made me SICK. How many times did Barry say “I” or “me”? He will only use this for his 2012 run. I think it was good to hear the 9/11 broadcast to remember who Bin Laden was & what he did. However, our special Forces deserve ALL congrats!! Well done! Christians often have the UNbiblical idea that we are to “love” our enemy, as in “bend over”. No way! I say TOUGH LOVE, praying that swift justice finds them. God is the avenger…he is the Judge…our soldiers just arranged the meeting for Bin Laden to go to The Judge! So R O H…they have been waiting for you, monster Osama…or Usama Bin Laden.

The war is not over, there is at least 100 more to take Osama’s place. We need to say great thanks to the Living and True God for this. Included in that thanks should be joy and thanks that our Seals were all safe and sound and were able to do their job well.
Let us not lose sight of the war against all the enemies of Our Republic of the United States both here and abroad. The Progressives will try to move ahead while we are celebrating and feeling good. Our attention must not waver, our prayers and supplications to Jesus must not be forgotten, our commitment to freedom and the perservation of God’s Republic of the United States must not put aside for a moment. Lest we find ourselves attacked in other ways and defeated because we lost our focus.
Celebrate and thank God in true worship and let us continue to get on our knees and adore Our God. Thank You Lord Your grace and mercy is wonderful. Continue to draw this nation to You each and every day and protect us from all our enemies.
