Glory-Hungry Firefighter Admits to Lying About 9/11 Involvement

Jordan Lifander, a South Carolina resident and former Cedarhurst, Long Island volunteer firefighter, wanted 15 minutes of fame. Instead, he’s likely to get a news cycle of infamy.
Lifander had previously claimed to be the Captain of FDNY Ladder 133, which lost 12 men on 9/11. He admitted today that this, and every other part of his story, was a fabrication. Not only was Lifander not Captain of Ladder 133, but he didn’t even serve on that ladder. In the words of one commentator, he “did not survive the disaster any more than those of us who watched it on television.” Watch Lifander’s confession below:
Needless to say, the actual captain of Ladder 133 — Bill Youngson — takes a dim view of the whole thing. “I’m sick and tired of people standing up and telling people these stories for a little bit of glory,” Youngson said. “People have cancer, I have asthma and we paid our dues. In six months, we buried more people than you’ve ever seen and to read this story—this lie—it has to stop. Put that guy on the wall of shame.”

So a few of them die every year big f’n whoop. I’m, a f’n lineman WAY MANY MORE of us die every year, sometimes in horrible burning deaths. You don’t see us getting awards, or pats on the back or anything. The cops and fire fighters don’t do SQUAT for work, they RARELY break a sweat and they RARELY get hurt or killed unlike construction workers and commercial fishermen who die every second. Most of these guys are total losers. I’ve no respect for any of them. Tax payer predators is all they are. I don’t ever call 911.

If people believe you, you get rewarded for your fake heroism with real sex and real money. This guy seems to be in it mainly for the glory. That’s really pathological. To enjoy his fake glory he would have to be such a tremendous liar that he could convince himself that he deserves it.
