Good Samaritan Rescues Girl From Kidnapper

Victor Perez is being hailed as a hero for using his truck to apprehend the kidnapper of an 8-year-old California girl. But he’s giving the standard “I just did what anyone would do” vibe:

“But he’s giving the standard “I just did what anyone would do” vibe”

    So we now ridicule humility?

No, not ridicule. It just shows that a true hero doesn’t think he should be recognized for something he/she does, because of the VALUES and MORALS of that person, they believe anyone would have done the same.

I saw that Amber Alert, and I prayed for that little girl and was so relieved to hear she was found the next day. Thank you, Mr. Perez!

I saw the Amber Alert sign on the abduction, and I wondered if and hoped ( I should have prayed right then) for her to be found quickly. The Amber Alert system worked as designed. May God Bless Mr. Perez. People like him give me hope for America. If convicted, my wish is for her abductor to get what he deserves in the California Penal system.

If everyone watched out for each other, the crime rate would go down. Mr. Perez most likely saved that little girls life. He is a hero!

This man is absolutely heroic, also evidenced by the fact that he doesn’t think he did so much. I wish the left would look at this and realize that this is who America is! Lefties wouldn’t let a child be abducted, either. If we could just make them see that THIS is the America we’re trying to save, people who see something wrong and leap into action to do something about it!! LOL

well actually the left would just say we need to be more tolerant of kidnappers – that we just dont understand how divisive profiling like this is and … the kidnapper is just being oppressed by the elitist millionaires who are destroying this country (God bless you Mr. Perez)

Best story I’ve read in a long time. I’d love to be in the right place at the right time to do something similar.

Good for him. We need more everyday heroes. If more people would stand up and help there fellow citizens when they see a need or danger, how much better would this country would be.
Maybe the bad guys would think twice before perpetrating their evil if they knew they had a good chance of running into opposition.

We have plenty of ‘ everyday heroes ’ living on your street and mine, they just don’t make it on the news until something like this happens . Silent Majority is alive and well just waiting for November 2nd.

Mr Perez is truly a hero. The story has a perfect ending. Almost. The only possible thing that could have made this story any better, is if at the end, Victor Perez said, “Oh, btw. Don’t listen to Glenn Beck. He is an evil man.”
