GOP Presidential Candidate Herman Cain Attends ‘Restoring Courage’: Visits Wailing Wall

In a poignant and touching display, GOP presidential hopeful Herman Cain traveled to Israel to attend Glenn’s Restoring Courage event and visited Judaism’s sacred Wailing Wall.
The sentiment was made all the more profound by the fact that the House Ethics Committee called on its members not to attend the Restoring Courage event because it appeared to have a political affiliation, prompting Glenn to blast House Speaker John Boehner for “playing politics” with Israel “in their hour of need.”
Cain can be viewed in these pictures, placing a prayer note, as is customary, into the cracks of the Western Wall.

Posted on August 25, 2011 at 2:36amI stand with you, DittoFox. Mr Cain is the only one standing with COURAGE as I see it. In fact, while attending Restoring Courage at home on GBTV, I had my tv on but muted. Who else but Senator Joe Lieberman appeared on Greta’s On-the-Record show hacking his new book about observing the Sabbath.
Remember, he was one of the first to tell Glenn that he WOULD attend the Restoring Courage event. Only to back out last week saying he had previous family commitments. Where’s the courage Joe? Ask Herman Cain!

It’s called the; ‘Establishment’
We are not only up against the socialist\democrats, we are up against the dug in establishment of DC.
These people will destroy lives to maintain their power.
The House Ethics Committee is an example of wolves watching coyotes pillage the hen house and reporting to the farmer that all is well in the stable.
Sneaky, lying, cheating, low life politicians … nothing more.
Nearly 66% of the House and Senate are lawyers … Get the picture?
Tear em up Mr. Cain!

You may not have the experience when it comes to some of our government’s roles, but you do have your heart in the right place, and that is more important in my eyes. A good heart will set your moral compass and keep you on course; where as good knowledge is only helpful in preventing the wrong turns, not actually knowing which way you are going. Unfortunately, I don’t see you being selected as the Republican nominee for President; however I would be your VP if you were, and when I am the nominee for President, I‘ll hope you’d be willing to be mine.

Posted on August 25, 2011 at 11:36amrangerp: I can copy and paste OT scripture as well but I never hear any on the Blaze advocating for the following… Interesting isn’t is how we pick and choose what we want to follow out of the Good Book?
Exodus 21: 17 And he that curseth his father, or his mother, shall surely be put to death
Leviticus 24:16 And he that blasphemeth the name of the LORD, he shall surely be put to death, [and] all the congregation shall certainly stone him: as well the stranger, as he that is born in the land, when he blasphemeth the name [of the LORD], shall be put to death.
Numbers 15:32-36 And they that found him gathering sticks brought him unto Moses and Aaron, and unto all the congregation. And they put him in ward, because it was not declared what should be done to him. And the LORD said unto Moses, The man shall be surely put to death: all the congregation shall stone him with stones without the camp. And all the congregation brought him without the camp, and stoned him with stones, and he died; as the LORD commanded Moses.
Leviticus 20:10 And the man that committeth adultery with [another] man’s wife, [even he] that committeth adultery with his neighbour’s wife, the adulterer and the adulteress shall surely be put to death.
I wonder how many on the Blaze support stoning your children for talking back to them? lol
Any other Scriptures you give lip service to in the OT rangerp? Let me know which ones I’m suppose to honor and keep and the ones that I should disreg

Glenn was absolutely right, the “fix” is in for Israel, not only has Barry turned his back on them, it appears that the US Congress has also. A promise is a promise kept at least when it comes to God’s Word. I personally believe our standing with the Jewish people is one of the last strands that is keeping this nation from collapse and one reason why we became the worlds leading power.
The “sins’ of Israel are numerious in the bible itself. I don’t think that to many would say that they are perfect. Perfection is not required. You would not abandon your own children when they make a mistake would you?
If sticking with Israel means my death, whatever.
A man who is willing to lose his life will gain it, and a man unwilling to do so will lose it.
What about the atrocities done to the Jews, you seem to overlook them.
Ever look at a map of this area of the world? There is tiny Israel surrounded by nations that want there total destruction.

During the last few debates, Herman was mostly ignred unless they had a gotcha question for him (as Newt calls them). No one else in the field has satisfied me in terms of personality, integrity, leadership, and true sense of the real scope of government. I hope the following debates will concentrate on all participants equally. Actually I would love to see a debate format change similar to a round table discussion between all the candidates on topics brought up by a mediator. Let the candidates speak openly and audibly with themselves. We would learn more about them than we can in a one minute response and they could also learn from each other to improve the entire field.

Dream Team: Cain-West and Gingrich as Sec of State!
Report Post »Dilletante
Posted on August 25, 2011 at 5:01amCain and Palin in 2012. A GREAT black American president and the first woman vice-president. The Dems will never be able to top that. Mr. Cain, you may be our last best hope. Hang in there with all you’ve got and God bless you with his richest blessings. The humble will be exalted and the proud brought low . . .

Posted on August 25, 2011 at 2:25amI suppose there are those who think speaking plainly and sincerely is not consistent with the presidential character. I see no reason not to vote for Herman Cain that doesn’t apply to all the other contenders. Those other contenders have baggage that Cain doesn’t. Romney for instance with his Mass. health debacle, and Paul with his isolationist attitudes.

When you find your direction, let us know who IS the one the GOP needs. And please don’t say Newt, Romney or Huntsman or we’ll know you love pale pastels!

Posted on August 24, 2011 at 11:50pmGod bless you Mr. Cain for your willingness to walk the talk. Washington are you listening? Can you hear me now? This man gets it! Why is it that he’s the ONLY candidate that went to Israel? I want to say that you have my vote, but I do want Palin to run. Palin-Cain floats my boat though.

Posted on August 24, 2011 at 11:49pmThanks Herman! I appreciate any presidential candidate that stands with courage against the leftist MSM and their hateful attacks on Israel. They are our long standing ally in the middle east despite Obama’s attempts to destroy their credibility around they world.

Posted on August 24, 2011 at 11:58pmWait. Shouldn‘t we call Janine Garafalo and ask her if it’s ok if we want a black man in the white house? We’re so racist you know? Can’t stand the idea.

Posted on August 24, 2011 at 11:42pmMr. Cain, you always had my vote and my confidence. But even if you didn’t, this one act of courage would have won my heart. Let’s see if we can put you and Sarah Palin in the White House. That would drive the RINOs and the libs absolutely crazy.

Posted on August 25, 2011 at 1:19amThat would be perfect. I don’t really care which one gets top billing, and I don’t think they do either.
