GOP Rep. Joe Walsh Compares Obama to ‘10-Year-Old‘ Who’s ‘In Over His Head’

GOP Rep. Joe Walsh (IL) didn‘t hold back yesterday when CNN host Elliot Spitzer asked him what he thought about the president’s recent performance in relation to the debt crisis. According to Walsh, the president acted like a “10-year-old” in his speech, is “in over his head,“ and has spent the last few months ”running for re-election.”

Tell us how you really feel, Joe.

Mediaite has the relevant transcript:

Look, I’ve been pretty blunt in what I think of this President. I think he’s in over his head, I think he’s in denial and yesterday he acted like a ten-year-old. Now, none of that bothers me because I don’t think he’s really even part of this debate. This President a few months ago started running for re-election. He hasn’t been serious about any of the serious fiscal issues our country is facing.

I don’t take him very seriously.

Elliot Spitzer’s facial reaction is just as juicy:

The liberal media will stand by Obama, even if he grows horns. And until most of the unintelligent people in this country figure that out it, will be too late. The liberal media has contributed to this mess by not telling the truth, by sticking up for this president because he is black, and they will be responsible when this country falls into ruins.

I actually have tried to give Obama the benefit of the doubt but he’s not only taken this nation down the wrong path ideologically but also fiscally & strategically.

The entire debate is an absurdity. The Republicans are morally bankrupt if they think that waging two wars and weathering a financial crisis ought to be done without sacrifice by anyone except the troops, the poor, the disabled, the unemployed and the elderly. They’ll throw all these people to the wolves to protect their rich benefactors. They scream about the enormous debt even though it is still less than annual GDP just so they can screw over ordinary working people and take away all the hard won social safety nets from people who don’t have the political clout to object. If I made, say $75,000 a year and owed a mortgage of about $75,000 a year I wouldn’t hesitate for a moment to borrow in order to feed and clothe my family. But I guess some people would let their kids go hungry so they can pay for their Abrahms tank in the driveway. The real one’s acting like children (temper tantrum throwing children) are the uncompromising Republican stooges in congress.

Are you a government employee or a teacher? Let me ask you, where does it stop and where are we going to get the money? More taxes? Don,t you think that the person making, oh lets say 75,000 a year is getting taxed enough? If people are irresponsible with their own finances, like you say the have an Abrahms tank in their driveway, thats their fault. It’s not up to anybody else to bail them out.Same with the government and this president. They want to keep spending on social programs and needless other things expecting the tax payer to bail them out when they over extend.Tough! I know when I have money to spend and when I don’t.I have a budget. If I can’t afford it, guess what we don’t buy it.Very simple really. But I guess it’s all the evil Republicans fault for trying to reign in this president who seems to have a serious gambling problem.

I make $40,000 a year, run a business that employs 24 people, work hard every day, pay all my bills on time and am NOT IN DEBT. Some of us are makers and others are takers. Don‘t confuse people who work hard and create jobs with the heartless progressives who just want to take what they haven’t earned. Obama will never know any of these virtues and probably neither will you.

@ NationOregonian – If you make 75k/year and have a 75k/year mortgage, A responsible person would downsize so they can afford to feed their kids. But, a freaking ******* would take out a loan, borrow money you already can‘t afford to continue living a lifestayle you can’t afford… until it all crashes down.

      Great example. Thank you.

You show by your comments you too do not understand how an economy works. We as a Nation will become like Greece, bankrupt and falling apart. The only way to help the poor and needy is to grow the economy. Those “evil” rich people are the ones who hire us and support the truly needy. The morality is clearly on the side of the conservatives, They know that if you dont work you dont eat. Charity can only come from a people with the resources to share their wealth. There are not enough “rich” people to “feed all the poor”.

Bravo!! That’s what most of us want to hear from our candidates & Congress…..the plain truth. Somehow, they got the idea you shouldn’t say anything “negative” about your opponent. If it’s true and said respectfully (no name-calling or whatever) — say it!!!! It’s their duty in my opinion. Do a disservice and maybe even elections if they don’t.
While on this subject again — if you missed my other post on another thread – please check out the latest about the fraudulent birth certificate (via World Net and NY Daily) & if you agree, please contact Speaker Boehner, your Reps., Tea Party people, etc. It’s being ignored, even with alleged “irrefutable proofs”. They can at LEAST call for an investigation. If this turns out true and they didn’t, the backlash will be so huge, it’ll be more than just scary.

100% agreement. Wanna see another example of this watch the movie ‘Big’. BHO is Hanks character ‘Josh’. Pay close attention to the end when ‘Josh’ must give a presentation on his idea and has no clue what he is doing “you want to charge $40 for a comic book”. That is BHO he is nothing but a petulant child who thought he could walk into this job and run it like the joke called his life not realizing he will for the 1st time be held accountable for his actions.

That brings me to another quote from Young Guns 2 “You son of a b**ch! You‘re starting to believe what they’re writing about you, aren’t you? Let me tell you what you really are! You rode a 15 year old boy straight to his grave, and the rest of us straight to hell… straight to hell! William H. Bonney! You are *not* a god!” BHO fits into this as well……

He’s 100% percent correct. Obumbler has absolutely no clue when it comes to major issues, particularly economic ones. He has zero business experience, zero leadership experience, and is indeed in way over his head. His speech was petty, immature, and heavily partisan. He tells congress to get to work, and the next day he leaves for a day of fundraising. He has only met with Republican leaders once during the entire debate. He is a total failure, and Rep. Walsh was right to tell it like it is.

Cannot take credit for this one. From the Hammer and Sickle, Star Tribune.

      boss09Jul

Spending is the issue along with the following: 1. You cannot legislate the poor into prosperity, by legislating the wealth out of prosperity. 2. What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving. 3. The government cannot give to anybody, anything that the government does not first take from somebody else. 4. You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it! 5. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them, and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work, because somebody else is going to get what they work for, that is the beginning of the end of any nation.

You gotta love a politician criticizing the President for acting immature while his contribution to the effort is nothing more than calling him a 10 year old. And by the way despite what math challenged individuals like Walsh say, you can’t balance the budget without cutting Defense and at the very least reducing tax expenditures (loopholes and credits for the corporations and wealthy). Social Security and Medicare should be a separate issue as they are annuities which should be should be placed on actuarially sound footing. You also have to pay for wars and programs like the Medicare Prescription drug benefit. It is the real child which sits there and says I won’t compromise on anything….. no defense cuts and not changes to the tax code. If individuals like Walsh spent half as much time trying to work through the issue as opposed to just saying no, perhaps some progress would be made. We spend as much on defense as the rest of the world combined. We spend twice per capita on healthcare than the next most expensive system. Medicare is in trouble because it subsidizes small businesses and individuals who either don’t provide or obtain health insurance.

The lowest IQ of any president ever. And he acts like a child. He is the poster child for minimum IQ requirements to both serve and vote!

Walsh has justifiably excoriated this man more than anybody I’ve heard to date. In addition to what he said, I think Obama‘s ENTIRE policy is to invoke policies and programs that benefit blacks and if it benefits anybody else it’s an unintended consequence, just like his AG, Holder.

Everything they do has a racial component to it, because they hate, not only whites, but white traditional American culture as well.

Michelle Obama‘s nutrition push is because there’s a liberal element in academia who erroneously maintaintain that I.Q. can be improved with nutrition. She thinks eating better is all it takes to make blacks smarter.

This community organizer spent twenty plus years pursuing an agenda wherein blacks and only blacks would benefit, and because he‘s president we’re supposed to believe he is now concerned with the country as a whole? I mean, as he sat in Wright’s church listening to all that anti-white hatred, as the congrgants cheered and applauded his many hate speeches?

Obama, Holder, Michelle and the rest of the screwed up bunch will bring this country to civil war if Obama gets re-elected., because he’ll pull out all stops then.

Many millions of people would like to see him in again for that very reason. They’re watching and waiting. Some of them will even vote for him.

I know, I love it. It also exposes the media shock when one challenges Obama. Sickening to see the pervert Spitzer run to Obama’s defense. I can’t wait ’til this campaign get on the road, the heat will wither the delicate man-child. This is going to be a HOOT!
USA is on the precipice of unrecogonizable destruction; if our candidates don’t take the gloves off and hit treacherous Obama where it hurts, then those candidates won’t be worth supporting. Screw the nicey-nice tactics of McCain.

I didn’t actually see the press conference but heard bits on the radio. Sounded like he was half-heartedly pounding his fist to emphasize how urgent the situation is becoming. At least Khrushchev was a staunch enough dictator to use his shoe.

More than half of people thought Spitzer would do a good job, and now he’s a smarmy CNN interviewer.

The worst trauma year of Obama’s life was age 10. Therein lies the secret to the man’s dissociative disorder; his narcissism; his lack of discipline and his pathological lying. He had already been dumped by mommy onto white grandparents and was settling in and then picked back up and taken to Indonesia where his father was with him but again abandoned him. Little Barry was then after mother’s thesis on railroads in Indonesia and after that got dumped and abandoned AGAIN by his mother. Ten yrs old. Explains the 57 states and not knowing American traditions or how to stand when the national anthem is played (finally getting it). But what is VERY DISTURBING? I don’t remember Michelle or Valerie Jarrett running for office but there they are! Those women are mommy substitutes for him. It is Valerie Jarrett who runs our president–she is the Iranian national on his staff whose opinions on anti-Israel and progressivism have gotten us here.

Barry was 10 yrs old when asked to be the Muslim his dad wanted.
He and Valerie are ruining this Country. WHAT has he done for America? What?

I don’t think he is stupid, I THINK HE APPEARS THAT WAY TO COVER THE FACT HE IS TRYING TO BRING DOWN THE COUNTRY, and playing stupid keeps us wondering why he does the things he does. We need to stop wondering and call a spade a spade and stop him in his tracks now before he succeeds.
