Maybe someone can answer this question for me?

I looked at the county by county returns for the Kirk election. It appeared he won big in the smaller counties but lost big in Cook County. Does anyone know what what percentage of registered voters voted in the state vs what percentage of registered voters voted in Cook County??? Was it 37% for the rest of the state vs 87% for Cook County?

It‘s the People’s seat, not Obama’s and nobody “stole” it from anyone. We the People won it for a (hopefully) more conservative Senator to use until We the People decide to elect someone else to fill it.
God bless (and please continue to help) America as we begin the long slog to take back our Republic!

Now, We The People in Illinois need to keep in touch with Kirk and make sure he’s representing us truly and not falling to the lobbyists vile plans.

The headline in this article should not say “GOP STEALS…..”. Even though it is Illinois, it is not likely that the Reps would be able to “steal” anything.

Good work, Illinois. I’m really hoping this becomes a pattern. We can’t afford to allow the corrupt machines in this country govern and legislate anymore.

It’s the irony of this win that pleases me so. Even with dirty politics and voter fraud, Obama‘s agenda can’t even support his candidates in his own state. LOVE IT!

Glad Kirk won. However, apparently, Kirk went out with Giannoulias to have a beer after the results were in, which, oddly, makes me really wonder if anything will ever actually change in Illinois….

No, Obama’s seat was not stolen. It was WON by a better man. You know I have written profanity and very harsh words in many of my inputs but that I know was mainly out of an intense anger I harbor for people I believe are trying to transform America into a Socialist country and basically destroy all we have worked for and love. After last night I realize I must stop using profanity, as that is really I supposed as unprofessional as the unprofessionable people I talk about.
So in turning this new leaf I must say that last night America did indeed have their voices heard by those who have disregarded and seem to have lost respect for the very people who propelled them into office. Now it is THEY who realize the terrible mistake they made. Barack Obama is a Socialist and a radical one at that. He has had plans to transform us into a monstrosity of socialism but its not working. Even with like minded people like the Clintons, Pelosi, Reid, and so many more. But all these betrayors of American ideal and values just did not seem to get the message, NEVER UNDERESTIMATE the goodness and might of the American people. Perhaps NOW they know what we meant. Last night was just the beginning, we have a long fight to 2012. The good news is we are now on the track to restoring the honor and greatness of America. As for those evil minded people who think they could get away with such a thing. No way!!

well, hopefully kirk shed’s the rino skin and does what we elected him to do. surprisingly, it was a very close race – Gianniouliascammer almost won. It shows how deeply entrenched these Socialist-Democrats are in Chicago.

Talk about entrenched! I just hope when the deluded citizens of California, New York, and Nevada go totally bankrupt with no way out……. They don’t expect the Federal Government to bail them out!
At least New Jersey saw the light.

How was the seat stolen? Did anyone call the police? I understand the seat has monetary value according to a former Illinois Governor.

There is “something about sitting in his ”seat”. Within a couple months you feel like an Emperor, surrounding yourself with socialist thugs, race baiting and calling anybody who doesn’t buy into your Grand Scheme an enemy.

Mr Kirk – take what happened last night as a message. We the people own that seat and your right to sit there can and will be revoked by the landlord (us) If you fail to uphold the Constitution and start acting like a Democrat, you will gone like last weeks garbage. I wish you well.

He may be a rino but there somewhat of a moral victory to have a Republican sit in the Senate seat once held by Obama. I only wish we could have done the same with Biden’s old seat.

I am concerned about this guy……he’s alot like McCain….in the house he voted WITH Nancy Pelosi on Cap and Trade…..now he is in the Senate? I don’t trust him. He plays the game too well. I voted for him-lesser of two evils, and hope he’ll be a pack animal and stick with the GOP. Cross your fingers.

i agree. I voted the same way – we must keep an eye on him and hold him accountable. he is definitely better than the alternative. he talked a good game in the campaign and we will see whether he will stand behind what he said.
